This theme adds custom image sizes, but some sizes are hard coded to crop the images: add_image_size(‘post-thumb-big’, 1140, $blog_thumbnail_height, true); add_image_size(‘shop-thumb-2’, 70, 90, true); add_image_size(‘shop-category-thumb’, 320, 256, true);
Other sizes are variable: add_image_size(‘shop-thumb’, $shop_catalog_image_size0, $shop_catalog_image_size1, $shop_catalog_image_crop); add_image_size(‘shop-thumb-main’, $shop_single_image_size0, $shop_single_image_size1, $shop_single_image_crop);
What we need is this parameter to be false. We do not want to crop the images, they have to be scaled.
WordPress and WooCommerce are offering a setting to crop or not crop the images. We need this setting for the custom sized too, which the theme is using.
Also it’s not clear how to set $shop_single_image_crop to false, since it seems to be no setting in the backend.
Also the dimensions of the added sizes are hard coded, so we can not use proportional sizes.
We really need this to be configurable, otherwise the product images are getting croped.

The size of the images we have used in the demo is 870×1110, you can use images sized with these dimensions for results just like in our demo.

There may be a problem with the file permissions then, you need to set them to writable or you can use the Child Theme instead which is a better idea cause you will not lose the changes made in the child theme.

Hi Art, it’s not a problem with file permission, I badly explained myself, I copied the file “inc/laborator_functions.php” in the child theme , I’ve edited some things but the theme ignores my edits and keep the original file functionality. I don’t want to edit the original files, how can I do? Tnx.

Hi, this is a great theme, works really well. I have found an unstyled page however! If you create an order in the back end, on an account. Then log in as that customer in the my account section… Then click on ‘pay’. The page is completely unstyled. Please let me know once it is and I will update it. Many thanks Dan Williams

I see that Ylli has misunderstood you, you can add the Sidebar to any page but not in the Contact page as it has it’s own template and structure which will not allow you to add extra Visual Composer elements.
The best would be to built a contact page with the Visual Composer by combining the Contact Form 7 plugin and the Widgetized Sidebar.

When you click “View Cart” button from the mini cart
You will go to the Cart page, and there you can remove, buy 2 same products and other things.

1— I saw your slider and I think that you have solved this question. For more info here is Layer Slider Documentation page
2— You can find them on the Appearance > Widgets, from there you can decide what you want to put on the Shop sidebar by dragging them to the Sidebar place.
Don’t forget to enable Sidebar by going to Laborator >Theme Options > Shop Settings > Shop Sidebar.

Hi, I’ve just purchased your theme and I’m trying to customise the layout.
I’d like to place the basket icon in the top right of every page with the logo and menu in the center of the page. Currently you have 4 header layouts in the theme options but none match what i want to do.

I need your help with a issue i have with your theme. It turns out that the zoom-view box of the imagezoom-view where the image is displayed is very small, more than the box of the original image. Hey, I have a simple translation issue. Everything else works fine but I can’t seem to be able to translate the mini cart. Just the three words “view cart” “Checkout” and “Subtotal”.
