Just purchased your theme and installed it on a new wordpress folder. I’m having issues with the demo import.

Hi, I’m really excited on setting up this theme, however, when i click on customize of widgets it hangs up….never loads. Also the Child is not activating. Lastly I can’t figure out the Gallery. Do I load all my image to the media folder and call them from the Gallery page or do i have to add them to the Gallery page one-by-one?

Hi Lanjames47, you don’t need custom css to modify menubar color, because it is changed from theme settings/skins menubar…. where you can pickup desired colors
as for for menu bars icon, we use 2 type of icons simple line icons and font-awesome look in google for their existing icon list to choose appropriate one to substitue
There is an option in Skins to change the Menubar handle color, however changing it does not change the color of the menu bar toggler on the left side of the screen. This remains black. Please advise.
I am aware of the font-awesome icons, however there is no option in your settings to remove or change that icon.

I figured out a solution for #1.), and used the following Custom CSS:
menu-bar a.mb-toggler {background-color: #ffffff;}
However, the Custom CSS section inside the theme does not seem to be working properly, so I had to download the “Simple Custom CSS” plugin.
Hi ianjames47, glad that you could figure out 1 issue. Though custom css works fine, otherwise 700 people who bought had that issue.
2. fa.fa-bars {display:none;} to hide icon. But if you want to hide menubar handler that option exist in theme settings
3. Just enter youtube video url page text area box in gallery post. As regulary it is done in wordpress.

I am using the Menu bar on the left side. Now I want to have the submenu opened when you are on a submenu-page. For example I have “contact<team” and when visiting the page “team” i want the submenu to be open just like you have clicked on the + symbol.

Hi Azelab, regarding gallery filters, is there a way to change the order that they are displayed, or do I have to delete and create them in the order that I want them?
Also, I have come across a discussion here between you and Jenkins1924. I visited his website and I really like how he was able to get his site to load all the gallery posts instantly and then have a button that appears on the bottom right that allows you to return to the filters menu. Hi iSickles, yes they are sorted in the order you create.
http://www.bjenkinsdesign.com/ uses expanding version of the gallery, you can set your gallery to expanding version too. To have on home page only gallery, just remove everything from content of home page, and insert there mentas gallery shortcode, and in theme settings of that page set gallery type to expanding.A button which lift page up is on theme settings too, you can switch it on from theme settings/layout and check “Show scroll to top link” option
Thanks Azelab, I also found how you can control the number of items to load in the gallery via the shortcode.
Another question I have with regards to http://www.bjenkinsdesign.com/ gallery is that I noticed he is able to have a higher resolution image pop up when you press the zoom button. On mine, only the featured image is appearing and when I press the zoom it scaled up and pixelated. How can I get the zoom button to refer to a higher resolution image?

You should upload HD photos with high resolution. About 2000px width of picture. But make sure you save picture for web, and pictures not heavier than 200-300kb. Otherwise it will influence on page loading speed.
Ok, it’s working for me, now. I’m uploading 2030×1365 images at 622kb (high quality). I’ll set that as the featured image. When I select it in the gallery and pull it to my desktop I can see that it has been downsized to 700×471 and is only 165kb, which is great. When I click the zoom button, it refers to the original image. This is what I was looking for. For some reason it wasn’t working like this for me before. Thanks for your help!

Is it possible to nest rows? For example I have a page with a two column layout and I’d like to have a list split between two columns inside the initial left hand column. I tried placing another row inside of the left column, but it doesn’t seem to work.

Firs you must select category when create “Mentas Gallery” shortcode. After you will deselect in all gallery post that filters you want hide in frontend. When you don’t select category in “Mentas Gallery” shortcode this get ALL filters to show.

andonelab there are might be many styles, if I knew what exactly you want to change in their style I could help you. I would advise to hire someone from envato studio for custom css modifications, for some bucks they would save your time.

No sorry, I don’t mean “menubar”, but just sudebar. In the post page I want a sidebar showing i.e. related post, recent post, categories…in the contacts page I want to display another sidebar displaying i.e. contact form, info, logo. And so on…

This is bootrstap’s carousel, you can eigher change from javascript file, but this file should be backuped and restored each time after theme update, or try this if this would enough for you, to put code below in Theme settings/skins in custom css box:
