Hello,

The recent update of Flora (1.1.3) comes with the latest update of Visual Composer (4.7.3) so you’ve updated the latest update of this theme you will get the latest update of VC too.

After you update the theme, if there is an update available for the recommended plugins, you will see a notification message letting you know the plugins have a new version and need to be updated. If the notification message was dismissed, navigate to Appearance > Install Plugins to see the recommended plugins list.

However, we apologize to inform you that this theme doesn’t compatible with the Ultimate Addons for Visual Composer plugin and it is not included in the plugin support list so even you use the latest update of VC, this plugin still won’t work.

If you would like you can try these steps below, we hope this can help you to use the Video Section from this plugin:

You should upload a new theme file flora.zip to your website. Before uploading a new one you need to delete the old version of flora by simply activate another theme and delete the old flora theme from your website. You can update the theme automatically by using Envato WordPress Toolkit plugin. For more detail on how to update the theme please follow the instructions in our documentation.

Hi,

You can only choose between Dark and Light text color for the header menu but you can’t use custom color for this menu. You can change this option for each page by editing the page and select the Header tab in Flora Options and then choose Foreground Style option from Dark or Light.

However, the Text Style option within the section Side Navigation / Mobile Navigation in Theme Options -> Navigation just only for Side Navigation and Mobile Navigation.

Try adding the simple URL like http://www.tumblr.com/ or http://www.linkedin.com/. If it still doesn’t work, that means there is a plugin conflict or something filters your link before display in output, so deactivate another plugin one by one until you find the problematic plugin.

Regarding the contact form, you can setup your email by editing the contact form in menu Contact, see more on how to setup the contact form email here -> http://contactform7.com/setting-up-mail/

You can change the left side menu background in Theme Options -> Navigation, scroll down to Side Navigation/Mobile Navigation section and then choose your background image in the Background option.

Make sure your assigned your front page in Settings -> Reading. In Front page displays, choose “A static page (select below)” and choose your Home page as Front page.

Hi,

If you would like to create a full-width section, please don’t forget to change the “Content Width” option in the Row Settings window from “Default” to “Full Width”. You can edit the row that contains the slider and then change the Content Width option to Full Width so your slider will stretch to full the browser width.

I am not able to remove comments section on blog posts. I tried everything on Settings> Discussion. Also, I cleared cache… no luck there.

I can remove the php call but I am trying to keep it in the dashboard in case my clients want to turn it back on themselves.

Do you think it’s a theme related?

The Portfolio Grid element comes with the filters so you can use this element for creating your gallery. However, this element will use the categories as the filters so you should use the Custom Posts field in the Portfolio Settings window to filter item output for each gallery. In the Custom Posts option, you can add the category names in the Taxonomies field to display the items in specific categories.

Sorry, but there is no filter option for Image Gallery element. The only one element that comes with filters is the Portfolio Grid so please use this element instead.

You can install and activate Flora Child Theme (flora-child-theme.zip) that included in the main download package and then edit your child theme to add your custom icons as follows.

2. In the main functions (functions.php), you will see the function for adding your custom icons to the flora icon set flora_get_custom_icons.

If you modify a theme directly and it is updated, then your modifications may be lost. You should add your custom CSS to override the default styles in Theme Options -> Advanced -> Head Content. Adding your code in this section you will ensure that your modifications are preserved:

Also, in order to use bookmark menu you should add the custom links with the absolute URL of the page with your section ID as below:

Thanks! I was able to use the feature. On mozilla it works like a charm. On Chrome, its not consistent still. Sometimes i click on the bookmark and wait..nothing happens. Then i refresh the page and click again then it starts working. Not very consistent behaviour. I suspect the Ajax is messing with it.

Sorry but this theme doesn’t support front end editor and this info has been added in the theme features since the initial release. When you scroll down to the bottom of the theme features you will see this:

Visual Composer Included ($33 value) – drag & drop back-end editor (front-end editor disabled)
