You could try to modify the size of the container but i’m not sure if this will work because the module used were tested for a certain width. You could also hide if on mobiles using the following css:

I’ve tested the 7 days post sorting and found it working as it should. Please keep in mind that the 7 days post sorting feature pulls the most viewed posts from last 7 days (all time, not only those created in the last 7 days) so it dose not matter if a specific post, added in a block which uses a post sorting of this type, it’s 5 or 6 or 7 years old as long as it has been the most viewed post from last 7 days, so it’s ok if a post that is old it’s added to this list.

We plan to change the popular 7 days sort option and use jetpack’s plugin stats to build queries based on this days filtering options so this will be approached soon. If this is possible and we can add this implementation then this feature should improve a lot and move request on wp servers reducing the high resources usage which was making it very server costly.

Please make sure you also test this without plugins active, disable all leaving just theme’s Visual Composer plugin active and test this again. Also make sure you have the VC plugin updated, if you use the latest theme version (2.2) you should use plugin’s version (4.6.2) and make sure you empty all caches.

Hi,

The theme’s login widget uses the WordPress registration system so it isn’t responsible for this issue as it just replace’s the WordPress login/registration form so the password reset is a wp feature. You could make sure first you follow wp recommendations on this: http://codex.wordpress.org/Resetting_Your_Password or try to find a solution for this online. I also recommend you test this without plugins as you could have a plugin causing this.

Hi,

Yes, you could use the theme without it but that way you wouldn’t have access and you could not use theme’s blocks.

What version of VC plugin you use as this issues mostly occurred since plugin’s version 4.4 in which was a major update of the plugin however all memory issues with VC plugin were attended in both theme’s and VC plugin updates so they shouldn’t appear anymore.

Please make sure that you follow our recommended configuration under which the theme would work perfectly: http://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/ in some cases a poor host can be the cause.

You can also follow the forum treads I’ve pasted below and try the solutions found there as increasing the php memory limit: http://codex.wordpress.org/Editing_wp-config.php#Increasing_memory_allocated_to_PHP and try disable features like related articles, more articles, post views, load more/ next/prev pagination, infinite load…all these use resources and could make your site run slow and/or put a lot of stress on your server.

From that sections you can enabled and disable theme’s thumbs used on modules and blocks which when deactivated the theme display’s a thumb replacer which and information notice that the image thumb sizes used there is disabled form theme’s panel: http://screencast.com/t/goTsWkPh0n – http://screencast.com/t/YVwCnqXJout4 and you have to regenerate thumbnails after any changes to theme’ thumbs to avoid any issues in this regard: http://screencast.com/t/fODWAjWA

Hi,

That is the common behavior/effect of WordPress’s thumbs system which the theme uses to create the thumbnails needed for blocks and modules.

You could alter the block 11/module 10 image thumb dimensions to have it as you need it or add another one to use on module 10. Hi Lucian, Thanks for the quick response. I have tried altering the block 11 code in the file as shown but there seems to be no change in how the image is shown in its thumbnail version. It turns out a crop is not what I actually need but more of a resize of the image used as a thumbnail. Any more help on this would be greatly appreciated.
