Great theme – I’d like to use this as a one-page theme, (parallax) with the demo Lawyer, but with elements of other demos such as “team members” or “contact with googlemap” . I’ve tried several ways but then lose the connection between the menu and the different sections I do not know how to set the menu: to click on a section and move to the corresponding area. I searched in internet I looked at the tutorials, but I can not fix it. I hope you understand what I mean. thanks for your help

Hello, Every time I tried to upload the theme i receive a message stating ” Are you sure you want to do this?” and it will not allow me to continue the installation. Have you ran into this issue before?
Hi, thank you for purchasing! Your server settings have a file upload size limit (probably 5MB) and the theme zip folder has more. You can try and install the theme via FTP or increase the file upload size limit (recommended, because you’ll have trouble in the future when uploading other media). Cheers!

Not sure how you changed the max upload size, but usually you need to contact your hosting company for that (even if you try and override the php.ini file).

At first, Is it possible to use a square logo?
Mine is 576px X 576px, what setting do I do in the theme options?
For the size of images, I was well aware.
I am very careful with all other website illustrations.
I will compress correctly my photos to their weight is acceptable for better speed.
But for the logo, I preferred it to be perfect.
Many Internet users are expanding their screen (with their fingers on tablets and smartphones, even with their trackpad on computers) and i really wanted the logo to be very clean.

Thank you for purchasing! 576×576 seems a bit big for a logo, but the theme can handle it. I just recommend that you keep the navigation hidden by default.

Hey there, I’m trying to find where the Pulse theme grabs the Social Media icons from. I wanted to possibly change the RSS Feed to Twitch.tv, and change the icon from what’s currently being used to the Twitch icon, but couldn’t locate the .png files within the theme. I was able to see the color info for rss within the main.css file.

One more bug I’m seeing – site looks great on Firefox, Chrome, IE, but on Safari on my iPad, the site logo that we use in place of the original “PULSE” logo is not there, and the “PULSE” logo shows up instead. Any ideas? Thanks!

On iPad the theme will show the retina logos version so please make sure that you have placed your own logos or, at least, remove the theme defaults.

Thanks for your email Pirenko! I’m sorry about this bizarre issue now…I updated the theme from 1.3 to 1.4 from the Envato Toolkit. It installed without a problem but now my site is a blank page even though all the settings and pages/menu is there…what did I do wrong?

Super, many thanks. Couldn’t find that…all good. Now here’s a weird one – everything is working great as a “one page” site. However, when I move from one section to another using the header menu, the “selected” menu stays highlighted for the section above where I am, rather then highlighting the section I’m viewing. In order to get the menu to respond, I have to scroll down a couple of pixels, as if to trigger the correct menu. For example: I click on the “services” menu, which takes me to the “services” area of the page. But upon arriving there, the menu for the area above services on the page, “about us” is highlighted, because the page hasn’t scrolled down far enough to trigger the ‘services’ menu to highlight. I hope I’m explaining that well enough. Wish I could send you a screenshot. Any thoughts?

Thank you for purchasing! You will find all the options related with colors, fonts and sizes under Theme Options>General tab.
For the testimonials you will see some extra options if you click on the pencil to edit the properties (this is visible when you are editing the page using Visual Composer). Also, if you change the parent row text color option it will apply to the testimonials too.

Great theme – Installation is complete and up and running. I’d like to use this as a one-page theme, as demonstrated in your live preview. I have defined the homepage as noted, but that still does not make the theme operate like a “one page” theme…it still acts like a multi-page theme by opening new pages for the different content types, rather than ‘scrolling’ from one piece of content to the next as a “one-page” theme will do. Your live preview showcases both “one page” and “multi-page” options, and I want to use this as a “one page” theme; but I don’t understand how to have it function that way with the current settings. One last question – I did watch all the great videos btw (saved me many questions) I will like to edit the text size of the Header title fonts. Also I will like to change the colour of the sub text header fonts from black to white.

You can set up a specific font size on each Styled Title page element (the final property you can edit allows you to add custom CSS). As for the sub text header fonts: you should be able to manage all the colors on the theme options general tab. Love this theme. I am a digital image retoucher and I need to display before/after images with a swipe effect that the viewer can use to swipe side-to-side over an image and see the before and after. Does your theme already support this? Or is the theme compatible with one of the before/after plugins available? Lastly, can this effect be added to images in the sliders and galleries or just for images on a page? The problem I have been running into is that the available plugins can only be implemented for images on a page and not for images in a gallery or slider.

Also, it is possible to make it work on a gallery, but it will require some changes to the code. It can be implemented as a paid customization.

Thank you for purchasing! We recommend that you look briefly into the theme documentation and also take advantage of the one-click install sample feature. If you decide to use it you can generate only one page of the theme demos or multiple pages with one of the multipage demos.

Yes, I’ve done all of that, but I seem to be having the same kind of problem as your demo – if I go to the Pulse biz one-page demo and click on ‘home’ from the menu it becomes a multi-page theme. I want to know how to create a menu for a one-pager and how to create a menu for a multi-page website. I’ve done this before with other themes by chosing between section or page when adding pages to the menu.

The Pulse Business menu wasn’t properly set and we have just fixed it. Now it is looking as it should be so thank you for pointing this issue.
As for your question: there’s no switch ON/OFF for one page/multipage. What commands the type of website is the menu. If the menu points to different pages you have a multipage site. If the menu points to different sections of the same page you have a single page site.

Hi, Pirenko. I’m having trouble with the theme. After initial installation, when I get to the list of required plugins, they do not install. If I select them all at once it says they have installed, but they do not. If I select them one at a time I get this error message:
“The plugin does not have a valid header. Download failed. Not Found”

Hi there. I really like the looks of your theme and I’m interested in purchasing it, but I’m a little concerned about its mobile-friendliness. I noticed on the single-page demos that some of the elements are not resizing properly.
For instance, in the Lawyer demo, the subheadings (e.g., “We Have Offices Europe & North America”) are cut off and words are missing on my phone. In the Lifestyle-Event demo, the photos get cropped, rather than fully resized, and the word MAP wraps around onto two lines, with the P on the second line.
Can these things be avoided if I use the theme for my site? Or is there a fix?

Thank you for reaching us! All text sizes can be reduced and you can always do some extra tweaks with CSS if you want (we can assist you with this too).
Anyway, we are going to do some extra tests on a mobile device later today and will adjust the pages content accordingly (at this moment we don’t think that the theme itself needs to be changed).
As for the cropped photos: if they are backgrounds of rows or columns we don’t see a way to avoid this (but we are going to re-test the page anyway).
