Hi Are there any plans to have the same homepage themes like the foundry wordpress version such as optician, construction, video background?
Also the wordpress version has more page elements such as owl carousel? Is there a way of integrating these into the HTML version

Sorry but no, we do not have plans to synchronise development of the HTML and WordPress versions, as they are now maintained by two separate teams and priorities for each platform differ slightly. This is not to say that the WordPress version will not continue to receive future improvements that appear in the HTML version.

You can remove the classes ‘fixed and absolute’ from the bar to make it static. But the Logo shouldn’t remain at the top when it becomes fixed – would you mind sharing me a link to your site. You can open a ticket at mediumrare.ticksy.com if you like.

I hate to be a pest, but I’m still waiting on a response about the color treatment block that doesn’t work on Chrome Browsers on PCs running windows. Also, the HTML 5 video slider is pretty much useless as a mixed video and image slider and still no word on that. Please don’t assume people are using Mac computers. Tests should be done on both platforms and cross browsers. I love this template and think it’s pretty awesome that’s why I’m being hard on you….

1. I’ve also checked this on Chrome Windows and see no issue with the colour treatment. It appears congruent with the Mac version and was tested with Windows when it was created also.
2. I also don’t see the issue with this. By default the slider appears with 1 video, then image, then video, then image so you can make whatever arrangement you need by cloning and deleting slides.
I will go to my University’s computer lab and test these things you are saying is working fine. It certainly isn’t working on any of my computers at home. If anyone else has the same problem please let me know. This is really starting to annoy me.

First off beautiful theme. My very first theme using wordpress. I came from Joomla and this theme has helped me learn wordpress

So im having an issue with the parallex effect on my page (http://3mendomusic.fatcow.com/wordpress/) the weird thing i see the parallex effect work on your demo page on chrome but not on my site so im thining i have a setting wrong or something? Also the images that are suppose to show up dont and neither does my instagram feed :/

Is there a way you can add a dropdown <select> menu to the mailchimp signup – so when an option is selected, it will sign up the user for that specific list? (select A, B, or C to get signed up for one of these) And the SEND button will send the information to that particular MC list – does that make sense?
I can’t find a MailChimp native option to allow this (Campaign Monitor has something similar – mentioned below) but with some tweaking/hacking – that is possible. But it would be a “one form at a time” solution.
Here’s the catch – each form is tied to a particular list and each has unique signup variables tied to each form input element – on top of that, MailChimp has a hidden anti-spam field that carries a unique ID for each list/form. This means that in order to allow users to submit to a different list, you’re going to need to embed one whole form for each list.
One form would be visible by default, and the rest would be hidden so as not to interfere with the page. Then, you would need a dropdown list and can tie some javascript to that, so that when the user selects a different list from the dropdown, the selected form is shown, and the others get hidden. As the user types in the boxes, you can use javascript to transfer the values they type into the hidden form fields – so all forms are kept in sync. This means that if they change their mind and switch forms, their name and email etc. are still populated when the forms hide and unhide.
Naturally they are only going to click submit on the form they can see (the form they chose on the dropdown list), and the hidden forms don’t get submitted.
Campaign Monitor has an option to add checkboxes at the bottom of the form that gives the user the option to check which other of your lists they also wantt to opt into. I couldn’t find a MailChimp option like that.
This solution does sound finnicky, but I can see it working really well for what you need. I just can’t think of any simpler way to do it…

Haha, I’m not entirely sure what they mean by variant there – I think it might just be a colour switcher? Anyway it’s good to know the word Variant has become synonymous with our page builder for some people!

I have a question I cannot find in the documentation or in previous comments.
The bright and shiny pictures I add in the photo sliders appear fuzzy, darker, noisy than the original ones. How can I prevent this? Like to present the pictures as-is (as the originals).

Are you referring to the images being heavily blurred? This is because we don’t have copyright permission to distribute the theme photography along with the template (only to show it off in the demo).
Most of the photography for Foundry is sourced from: http://deathtothestockphoto.com/ so you could signup and grab it from there if you wanted to.

Hi Craig, no I mean my own pictures.
The originals are bright and shiny, however when I add them into the sliders they get darker and a bit blurred.
Is this a setting??

Ah you might be referring to the overlay that is applied so that white text becomes more legible on the image. You can remove this, if you’d like to give me a link to your site (or open a ticket at mediumrare.ticksy.com) I can give you the relevant CSS.

And the ‘F’ font from the Winery demo … I actually can’t remember which font it was! I know it was from the Envato Indie Font bundle that was available a little while back.

Do you mean to say it doesn’t work with Chrome? It’s showing up fine here on chrome / windows, chrome / mac. There is no support for background blend modes in IE, but this just means the image shows up without the colour treatment instead..
Yes I meant Chrome. When was the last time you tested it because even in your demo it doesn’t show up.

Yes, but it’s not showing up on chrome. I’m using both Windows 10 and Windows 8.1.
