Hi just a presale question, the rolling client identity image can be replace or modify? what is the short code if ever it has? thanks
Hello zhonghua,
By rolling client images, do you mean the slider of Logos on the sidebar? Or the top right side web site logo? In either case, yes you can modify them. The Logo slide show is shown using the content slider widget which you can easily use.
P.S.: Sorry for getting late on the reply. I usually reply within 12 hours. But my internet connection is down from Sunday, and I am posting this reply from an Internet Cafe.

Thanks saurabhsharma..
“Logo slide show is shown using the content slider widget ” Is there an ad manager for this widget? in which you can add some expiration to that certain identity/logo of your sponsor?
and once we purchase this theme, do you give or allow an unlimited updates or upgrades in the future??
We’re about to purchase this theme later or sooner.. but I need some info regarding our needs.. thanks a lot..
Hello zhonghua,
The “Content Slider Widget” works in a simple way. Enter your content wrapped in li tags and it will transition them. There is no expiration management like advertisements widget. You can manually change the content whenever you desire.
Regarding updates or upgrades – I release an update if a new feature is added, or there are some bug fixes. Please do not expect “Unlimited updates”

Thanks for the info mate..
for the color scheme, it can be manually edit via css right? not on admin panel?
and what I mean for updates/upgrades is, it is free (forever) for those who had purchase this template whenever there is a future update to be release soon??
Thanks again..
Sorry for the questions..
Hi again,
Yes, you can change color schemes manually inside style.css file. This would not be too hard to accomplish (if you are familiar with basic CSS ). If ever you need any assistance, I will let you know which selectors to modify.
Yes updates are of-course free. You need not pay again and again.

Thanks for the information. And i want to ask something in the demo, there is a part like a footer where the search widget etc are (on the homepage) How can i make that? Like in the demo, and how can i put text next to another one? (like in the demo)
Hello neLph,
The footer section is a set of four widget areas named as “Secondary Column One, Secondary Column Two..” and so on.
You can navigate to WordPress Appearance > Widgets section and look for these widget areas. Next, drag appropriate widgets such as “Recent Posts”, “Blogroll”, “Search” etc into each widget area and save the widgets. You will see them appear in their respective columns.
You can find more information about widgets and widget areas inside the documentation folder’s index.html file.

can we remove the slider on home page? Can we edit everything we want? like background color etc
Hello neLph,
Yes, you can hide slider on Home page using the “Hide Slider” option in Theme Options Panel. You can set background color and background image using the WordPress Background option which will work for Boxed layout. (Imp: Not for stretched layout).
For stretched layout, you will need to set color values inside style.css file to appropriate selectors.
Regarding editing: The home page is designed using the column short codes (after the slider part). You can craft it in whichever way you want. Fixed templates are for portfolio and blog pages.
To summarize, you can edit menus, show/hide slider, show/hide featured area, use custom captions or custom images/flash for featured area. Show/hide/left align sidebar. Show/hide secondary widget area etc. Further, you can make use of built in column short codes and style elements to craft your pages in different styles.

brilliant, thank-you.
that last note was certainly important – make sure under ‘Reading’ that the posts page is set to nothing. i had the ‘news’ page selected there and none of the choices i had selected on the news page were working. now, all perfect.
thanks again. excellent theme!
Glad it worked. Yeah that last note is important.
If you set “Posts Page” to something, WordPress will populate that page with all available posts, as you would see on a default home/blog page.

hi, just wondering how to exclude the featured posts (used for the homepage slider) from the news page/s. your ‘recent post’ widget includes the ability to exclude categories but i’m not sure where to add code to exclude from the news pages themselves. (i’m guessing it’s either the archive.php or the functions.php).
basically we’re just using the homeslider to show a gallery of images that have no news items, but the posts are showing in the news page as actual posts.
any help appreciated.
Hello tinklergroup,
Yes, you can easily exclude categories on News page. Here are some basic steps:
1. Create a new page called “News” and assign a template “Blog Page” to it from template drop down menu.
2. Scroll down to page options where you will see a section as “If using this page as Portfolio or Blog”. There you would provide category IDs separated by comma. These are the Category IDs which you wish to show on News page. Here you will NOT mention the Category ID of Slider.
3. Publish the page.
Important: Go to WordPress Settings > Reading > Front Page Displays. Makes sure the “Posts Page” is set to none. i.e. Select a static page for front page as “Home”, and for “posts Page” none.
Let me know if you find any difficulty after this.

This looks like a great theme, but it is not working correctly in IE.
I’ve tried to view the demo for several days now, and the homepage usually comes up OK, and maybe I can navigate to one more page (usually not though), but trying to navigate to a third page, it always bombs out:
Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage
Once it does that, I can’t even get back to the homepage.
The theme looks beautiful and I’d love to view it. Please fix the IE bugs.
Thanks
Hi there,
The issue is not with IE (or any browser). It is the shared hosting (on which my live preview is hosted) which is not able to handle the traffic and server requests. For now, I have planned to use WordPress cache so that visitors can see the site more easily.
I truly understand your concern (which is for my benefit only). Just in case you wish to see all pages, I have also included them in the screen shots. Meanwhile I am working on speeding up the live preview.
Regards
Great theme! Just one probblem: the pictures won’t show up in de slider. Followed your instruction and they are there in the media library but not on the website. Any ideas?
Hello Mirjamkuhlmann,
Can you mail me your site URL at xconsau[at]gmail[dot]com, or post it here. There might be an issue with timthumb script and permissions. After looking at the URL , I can tell more.
Meanwhile you can make sure you have assigned appropriate folder/file permissions to timthumb script and folders (as described inside the documentation file). Also, make sure you are not using a temporary URL . If you are on a Multi User WP installation, you may need a cross domain version of timthumb which I will send you.
Regards
Thanks! It was the cach folder permission for timtumb. Set it to 777 now. Working great now.

5 Star theme. The inner page flash banners are such a nice touch and everything works the way you say. Great documentation on initial set-up. I miss the color scheme option though. I think you should still include this option in future themes.
I hope you have another theme in the works. Great job, you’ve hit a home run with this or is is a SIX straight into the stands, ha!
.
Thanks. I am glad you liked it.
About color scheme options, it would be easy to perform via style.css file. It’s just that I wanted to keep the theme minimal and optimized.
Buyer’s input and feedback is always helpful in planning theme’s features. So, I will keep those suggestions in mind for future releases. Thanks again.

no documentation for installing etc?
never mind i found doh
Hello Robert,
You can find it inside cruz download folder/documentation/index.html.

purchased!
Hi,
I’m really interested in this theme for my next project but i want to know a few things:
1. Is there an option to change the background in the Admin panel?
2. Would there be any problems adding a shopping cart plugin?
3. Items in the store i would like to list in square blocks with just a border much like the pricing grids, would this be possible?
Regards Mat
Hello Mat,
1. There is an option to change body background via WP Background feature. If you wish to test that feature, you can check it inside default twentyten theme of WordPress. The cruz theme allows same feature. Important: By body background I mean the gray outer background on a boxed layout.
If you use a stretched layout the outer body background is not supported. In that case, you can change the outer body background of primary section via CSS .
2. Shopping cart plugin: Since all JS code is carried via no_conflict mode, the theme should work with any external plugin. The only issue you may get is with the CSS styling of shopping cart output.
3. As mentioned above, you may need to style the shopping cart output via style.css file. If you need any help, I will assist you upon that.
Regards
@SaurabhSharma
Would you be willing to add a “grey” button type as well? Similar to your button on the Hulk buttons? Also a hover style for images that is more minimal?
Hello studioland,
You can have a minimal hover style easily by disabling the paper curl effect inside a JS file. There is also an image frame short code that allows you to use a couple of image border styles. A hover effect can be added easily, and I can assist upon that.
For buttons, yes that can be added.

I trying to view your demo, but your website keeps crashing or something:
The server at labs.saurabh-sharma.com is taking too long to respond
It first started happening about 2 hours ago, and I’ve just tried again, was able to view 4 or 5 pages of the demo and then againa:
The connection has timed out The server at labs.saurabh-sharma.com is taking too long to respond
Hello sharedearth,
I am on a shared hosting, and this problem occurs on shared hosts. I am facing this issue for all my themes. Due to some online payment(paypal) problems I am not able to switch on to an International (good) host. I am trying to launch a static version or use WordPress cache for a speedy live preview.
Because of a slower live preview, I have provided all possible site screen shots. Hope you understand that.

does this theme support custom logos?
Hello Robert,
Yes the theme support custom logo, blog name and description. You can provide custom logo URL inside theme options panel and adjust logo margins.
Regards
Very nice looking theme, this could be my next project well done!!
Thanks
Minimalist, clean and at the same time very eye-catching layout! Good job!
Thanks Rebecca
Nice & Clean !
Thanks mate
Hi
This looks like a great theme
One question: What color changing options does it include in the control panel?
Thanks Ken
Hello Ken,
There is only one color scheme as shown in the live preview. However, you do have a layout options as boxed/stretched. Additionally, the theme supports WP Custom background, from which you can control background color and images.
The contrasting scheme is followed inside the navigation bar and footer area i.e. the black color. With little CSS , you can easily change them to other color schemes.
In my previous releases, I did provide 10+ color schemes. But after some feedback and watching buyer’s sites I found that most of them were designing their own schemes. So I didn’t provided this time.
Regards
+1 Good job !
