Where can I edit the way the store looks and feels? Particularly, I want to make the categories not all caps (Which its doing by default) and I want to change the color of the category frame.

1. Contact your hosting company regarding this, they will need to increase your site limits.

2. How did you translate the site? If you are using a translation plugin such as Loco Translate then the translation won’t be deleted, just make sure not to edit the theme files or use the child theme because you will loose all the modifications always.

When I try to install Demo Data, I don´t get the Download Media Files button, instead I get :

Hello, I can´t upload your theme (aurum.zip) using wordpress desktop. I get a mesage saying:

Most likely your web server is configured with PHP settings that are too low to allow the theme ZIP file to upload. Specifically, PHP is configured to a maximum file upload size limit at 8 megabytes or less. The theme ZIP is about 9.5 megabytes in size. Thus, the web server is rejecting the upload. WordPress is giving you a rather ambiguous message in response. This is not a theme fault or bug.

There two ways to solve this problem.

1— You can either get your web host to increase your PHP limits.

2—You can upload your theme via an FTP client.

Recommended PHP configuration limits are as follows:

max_execution_time 180
memory_limit 128M
post_max_size 32M
upload_max_filesize 32M

1. This is possible, if you want to link products to next store, then create “External” product type.

2. Zoom/image magnifier is supported for the theme as demonstrated here:

Just hover to the image and it will be zoomed.

Hi there, 1. I have a sidebar issue. I created a request for quote form with with plugins, and seems that the right sidebar is not shown on the right side as it should be, but shown below the request form. http://ashtrayscanada.com/request-a-quote/

3. what is the right size and resolution for the image in layerslider? ashtrayscanada.com/ for example, if my image resolution is 110 and size is 10by5 cm, it fit the screen but the picture is so blur, if i set a higher resolution or bigger size, it won’t show the whole picture but part of the image instead.

regarding the first question, you must add a product in the quote list then you can see my issue. there is no problem when the quote list is empty because the form is not there.

1—I’ve discovered the issue and found out that there is a HTML error in the code of “Request quote” plugin, see this screenshot: http://drops.laborator.co/1eCQac

You must contact plugin developer and ask to fix this issue. It is generating an extra open/closing tag or missing it from adding thats why it breaks the page structure.

2— Can you please add the code below to Custom CSS

3— I think that the best size would be 1080px width, but this is just assuming because we don’t give support for third party plugins, as we can’t answer you on the best way possible.

we updated everything on the website and the blog post still wont show smaller. There is a problem with the visual composer is image height. Its rendering a longer image height how can we fix this. Thank you

If you have changed the height of blog posts, then you need to regenerate Thumbnails, so for this install Regenerate Thumbnails from plugins page and then finish the process. Images will be fit to specified dimensions.

This happens because you have installed YITH Magnifier Plugin.

Our theme does not support this plugin, instead we have implemented our own magnifier plugin which can be activated in Theme Options > Shop Settings:

When you deactivate YITH Magnifier plugin featured image will work fine again.

Hello there! We purchased the Aurum-minimalist shopping theme and are having a few issues we wanted to possibly get your help with.

The site can be seen at www.PhysiqueTea.com

1) We have PayPal Pro as a payment processor and although the payment goes through only once in PayPal, it shows up as multiple orders (the same exact order 6, 7 or 8 times) in the WooCommerce Dashboard. We contacted WooCommerce Support and this is what they told us:

2) Is there a way to make the thumbnails for the product photos not cut off or crop the photo but just shrink it to fit? We have changed photo sizes already in settings and regenerated thumbnails according to the theme size with no such luck.

Got a question about the set up of our template. We actually kinda finished the whole homepage, but suddenly a ‘Home’ header and a ‘sort by-filter’ popped up. Also, 3 of our products were included at the bottom of the home page, without us doing anything. These elements are also not shown in the ‘Page’ section, so they sort of magically appeared on our Home page, but we would like to get rid of them.

I need some help with the use of my API key. Is it correct that I need the API key for automatic updates of the theme?

Further, I can’t find the tab “envato toolkit” to fill in my API key and username. There is a notification that I need to update the Envato Wordpress Toolkit, but when I try to do this it is not working.

The Envato Toolkit helps you to update the theme with no hassle, so you need to install that plugin and activate first.

To install/activate the plugin go to Appearance > Install Plugins, then choose Envato Toolkit from the list, after you install that plugin, please activate (see screenshot: http://drops.laborator.co/163Nr ).

Then access Envato Toolkit from the admin menu:

To generate API key here is shown the page:

After you set up the API key and username, you will see Themes tab in Envato Toolkit page. From there you can update the theme.

You are using an old version of our theme (2.5) and the latest version for the moment is (2.6), please update theme first.

The easiest way to update our themes is if you use Envato Toolkit. On this link How to update Themes and Plugins you can learn this easy step-by-step procedure :)

Then don’t forget to go to Appearance > Install Plugins to update all your premium plugins to the latest version that we support.

P.S: We won’t be able to provide support for outdated versions.

Hi Laborator team!

I have a question about categories which are displayed under product title. I segregated my products in all different categories and child categories – it’s pretty a lot of them (one product have sometimes 3 or 4 categories). That’s why cannot display them under, when I’m trying

display: none

or

visibility: hidden

Unfortunately price is disappearing as well… I manage to hide it on home page but not on the shop page :(

What I would really like to do is to display for example ‘tags’ instead of those categories, then i can choose myself what i would be displayed… or for example 5 words from the description text… is it possible in any way? And how to eventually hide it totally but make price displaying properly.

I could use some help with two issues:

1. The product thumbnails won’t resize – https://blueskylingerie.com/shop/bobi-usa-light-weight-hi-lo-tank/. I have tried changing the thumbnail size in Woocommerce settings, then regenerating thumbnails (plugin) to no effect. The top and bottom are getting cut off. I have tried making the ratio more and more extreme but to no effect, width is fine but height isn’t enough to show entire thumbnail image. When I look at the thumbnails in Chrome Devtools, the original image width and height is 555×710 (default) even though I changed the product image size to 596×900 in Aurum Theme Options.

2. On the product page the “out of stock” badge isn’t showing up – https://blueskylingerie.com/shop/bobi-usa-light-weight-hi-lo-tank/ – choose size “S” as that size is out of stock. I have tried playing around with lots of different variation settings, but it won’t show. The “sale” badge will show, but not out of stock badge. The out of stock notifications is turned on in Woocommerce, and when I choose the variation that is out of stock is says below the variation selection area “out of stock”. So it’s working, but no badge is showing.

It is available for simple products and for variable products if all of them are not in the stock, but it won’t change on real-time and show the “Out of stock” ribbon. That’s why it won’t work.
