This is the first issue reported for “image filtering” in our themes, there must be any plugin that is doing the image filtering cause the theme doesn’t affect the images.

Couple of things:
(1) On my homepage (the demo with the Jewelry example), http://www.exceptionalemeralds.com/ , if I try and add the Post Grid or Post Masonry Grid widget to the bottom of the page, attempting to show blogposts like are shown here at the bottom of the homepage (click Victoria Beckham example): http://themes.laborator.co/#theme=aurum
...I cannot without affecting the size of the various Logos from the demo like “Pandora”, “Tiffany & Co.”, etc. What happens is they get supersized, awkward and bloated. Go ahead and try it yourself – it’s weird.
I simply would like a featured recent blogpost section on my homepage to look like it does at the bottom of the page here (again, Victoria Beckham demo example): http://themes.laborator.co/#theme=aurum
(2) How do I disable comments on my blog pages? (I bet there’s a couple ways to do this, please let me know the different options for this).
(3) How can I make it so my blog post page shows only one category of blog posts? Typically, because Visual Composer does not have the functionality built in the same way as it did in older versions, your support team has been telling people to just post the following code:

1. When you click this link: http://themes.laborator.co/#theme=aurum it will bring you to a page where you can choose from the different demo examples, right? Fashion, Homepage 1, Homepage 2, Bookstore, etc? What I meant was when you get to this page, click on Homepage 2 (aka the one about Victoria Beckham). Once you’ve done this, scroll to bottom of the homepage to see the section titled: “From the Blog”. I would like my homepage to have a section like this.
Unfortunately, if ever I try to add a Post Grid or Post Masonry Grid element, the logos of all the Jewelers become jumbo-supersized and awkward looking. As soon as I remove the Post Grid or Post Masonry Grid element that I’ve added, the logos revert back to their normal size.
Using your shortcode works fine, but can you troubleshoot why the current Posts Grid element itself won’t work? (since that shortcode is actually outdated from deprecated version of Visual Composer).

1. I understand what you want to do here. So for this purpose I’ve copied the entire shortcode of “Victoria” homepage:
http://pastebin.com/RQnHe4P3So to add the same layout to your homepage, copy the shortcode, create new page and paste that shortcode, then switch back to visual composer editor to change the details of that page.
I guess this will work for you the best.
3. To show query builder, on Visual Composer layout, click edit on Blog posts element, on pencil icon, then you will see that Build query button, click it and then in Categories field type your own categories you want to display (suggestions will come as you type the name of category/categories).

I’ve sorted it for some of the pages with layouts as div.tab-content a, div.entry-content a, div.container.contact-page a, ( http://www.redgregor.com/contact/ ) but when I have a plain text with no extra divs inside I can’t change css to the links.
div.page-container a is not an option as it also changes the links in the products carousel added to that page via Visual Composer for example http://www.redgregor.com/collections/ama-mata/
And I want these to stay original with h3 product link dark and lower category link grey. So is there a way to change link appearance in the text only, or should I use div.page-container a anyway and then exclude the objects which I don’t want to be changed? Hope I’m clear with my question

Hello Laborator,
When I updated to the latest 2.6 Aurum theme from 2.3.5 it broke the layerslider plugin on my homepage. It will not allow me to update the premium plugins taking me to a page stating I do not have the appropriate permissions. I am curious if this has been a common problem as I need help! I will add that I am getting several warnings like so:
“Warning: Cannot use a scalar value as an array in /home/content/p3pnexwpnas03_data03/94/2387894/html/wp-content/themes/aurum/inc/lib/visual-composer/config.php on line 61”
Maybe Visual Composer is the culprit?

We started doing that a time ago, and then you said to me that your client changed the mind. Now you are asking for the same thing again, i think that it’s better to wait for this feature until we release a new update that will enable this, and not modify the theme so much. Because with the current code structure it is impossible.

Hi, your theme is really great for e-commerce sites. But i’m having a critical issue that no one could answer me about it.
My “add to cart button” is missing. I tried everything said on the internet but with no success, Woocommerce told me to contact the author of the theme, since the problem is not in their files. Whenever I switch the theme from Aurum to a Wordpress default theme, the button reappears.
An error of outdated .php file was popped the other day, and I was navigated to system status. It appeared to be that price.php was the problematic file. So I updated both theme and woocommerce, and after checking the file price.php in the plugins/woocommerce folder, I saw the version is up to date (2.4.9)
So I also checked the file: theme/aurum/woocommerce/single-product/price.php and it was a (1.6.4) version.
I copied the file from plugins/woocommerce and replaced it with the theme/aurum file. after checking both were verison (2.4.9)
But i’m still receiving the same error of price.php is outdated version (1.6.4).. core version (2.4.9)
I really don’t know what to do, please advise me how to solve this type of error.
It’s a great theme, I’m just having a problem with this particular issue.

To remove outdated files notification on Aurum follow these steps:
1. Download this file: http://drops.laborator.co/1ciu8+
2. Replace it in this directory:
wp-content/themes/aurum/woocommerce/single-product/
As for “Add to cart” button not showing can you please check if you have enabled “Catalog Mode” (you must uncheck that box) on Theme Options > Shop Settings.
Otherwise I need to further investigate your issue, so first check if this works for you then I can take a look at it.
