Hi, I’d like to get this theme, but it does not function properly on an iPhone. There’s a large area of whitespace at the top.

Thanks for informing us of this issue, it appears our recent update had an undesired effect on mobile devices. We have just released an update and this issue has now been resolved.

We recommend using the ‘NK Google Analytics’ plugin. This can be installed via your Dashboard under ‘Plugins’ -> ‘Add new’ -> ‘Search’. Using this plugin, if in the future you decide to change themes you wont have to reconfigure your Google Analytics tracking ID.
We have installed the theme and everything is fine. However we require it to run on https:// where in the template file do we need to make these changes for all dependencies from http:// to https:// as everything is broken on https:// until we do this.? Any help would be greatly appreciated

The theme should fully support SSL without any modifications, providing WordPress is configured for this. If you are experiencing insecure asset warnings please create a new ticket on our support site with more information so we can assist with this.
Hello! Can I use a favicon? It seems like it took the “site icon” and placed it as favicon. Is that supposed to happen?

Very nice theme overall. Uses standard templates, clean implementation of shortcodes and widgets.

Just when i was about to purchase Cedar, you put out yet another great theme!
I have 5 questions:
1. Is the masonry layout customizable? E.g. instead of 2 by 2 posts, can it be 1×1? 2. How did you do the “Newsletter post” in the homepage and get it to show up as a post? Widget? Would it work for something else like an adsense block? 3. Is it possible to have a static hero “page” as the first post? 4. Does it have similar post format like in Cedar? (quote, aside…) 5. In ‘full-width’ setting, it is possible to have the menu pop up on the right side?

1, 3. The post-list layout is fixed currently, however we like the idea of having options to adjust this and will look into this for a future update. Thanks for your suggestion.
2. The post-list subscription section is configured via the theme customizer options and supports a MailChimp embed form code. We provide a custom widget to show adverts within the sidebar section.
4. Slate supports the ‘Standard’ post format, any posts using a different format (for example pre-existing posts) will be shown using this format.
5. On full-width or mobile layout the sidebar will only slide-in from the left-side of the page.

After playing around with it I have 2 suggestions:
1. more hover effects for blog tiles (bit too subtle for me)
2. small footer would be nice (you know for copyright & legal links)

As the main post-list features infinite loading, the footer area is located within the sidebar section and includes a copyright disclaimer. The copyright contents can be modified via the customizer.
Yes, your theme is wonderful but the sidebar is actually the only that kept me from purchasing.
Is it possible to completely disable the sidebar and have the layout always look like it is now on smaller screens (logo centered on top inside a black top menu bar)?
