I just went to update my theme by uploading the new .zip file and it said it failed. I went back to my site and now all my Nectar sliders are messed up!! Every slider is all of the sliders in one. Please help. The site is FreshStart.Church.
Each time I try and update the theme it messes up our site. Please help as soon as you can. Thanks.

Hey – it’s an h1 tag, inside of a text block, the h1 is set to a large font in the typography options tab of the Salient options panel:
font-family: Playfair Display; font-size: 100px;

Hey, please make sure you’ve resaved your theme settings if you’re using the “Move Dynamic/Custom CSS Into External Stylesheet” option after updating – if you’re not please share a URL where I can see the issue

If you’re using the “Move Dynamic/Custom CSS Into External Stylesheet” option in the general settings tab make sure to resave your options after updating

For anyone updating to WP 4.4
you must update your version of Salient to the latest release in order to get Nectar Slider compatibility. The current release is 6.1.71Cheers
Can confirm @sweetpweb’s issue. Updated to WP 4.4 and sliders show ALL slides on some pages, also if you use slider as a header for the page it only ever loads the FIRST slider on each page. Def a compatibility issue with 4.4.

Hi, I am having the same issue with the WP 4.4 update and all sliders showing in slider locations. I have updated the theme to Version: 6.1.71 but I am using a child with a modified functions.php file.
If I change the them to the Salient Parent theme, the sliders work. If I change it back to my child theme, they no longer work. Is there some sort of fix I need to implement in the child theme to make this work correctly? Thanks
Also +1 for the VC showing up all over the page as mentioned by @elevatedcreativeco above, which is very frustrating. This also does not appear to be fixed with the theme / VC updates.

1. You’d need to update your nectar slider display function in the child themes function.php if you’re overriding it
2. That’s not a known issue when using the current version of VC, are you on salient VC 4.7.4

2) Yes, I am on the most current version of VC – 4.7.4. I have submitted a ticket on this but the only proposed solution was to disable all other plugins which is not feasible for our site. It came after the previous major VC update and was working fine previously.

Hi ThemeNectar, Sorry for the delay… Holidays and all…
After much digging and testing, I found that it is a conflict with VC and Ninja Forms. It appears that they may have instituted a fix but that fix doesn’t appear to be working with the Salient version of VC as I am still getting the error every time I edit a page.

I’m more than certain you guys have received a plethora of concerns about this, but the visual composer is wrecked right now. It loads all over the page and you have to scroll all over the place to find it. If you drag it, it doesn’t stay consistent with where it pops up. It is causing a huge hassle and time on my hands. Can you please fix this asap so it pops up correctly again?
Hey, actually this is the first report of it on here – I haven’t been able to replicate the issue yet but if you could so kindly verify none of your plugins is causing it and provide a screenshot of an example i’d be glad to look into it further. Wow! Thank you for getting back to me so quickly. Your customer service is awesome. So, I’ve used this theme a number of times and never run into this problem.
When I am in the page builder and I click on an edit icon, when the page builder window pops up, it is, for some reason, loading at the very bottom of the page – i.e. underneath the comments section.
I did a full deletion of all of the plugins, reinstalled and reactivated them, thinking that might do the trick, but it hasn’t seemed to have done so yet.
I also thought maybe my browser was to blame but I was having the same issue on Chrome, Firefox and Safari.
I’m glad that I finally figured out that it was indeed popping up, just becomes troublesome to have to scroll all the way to the bottom of the page to edit, save, then scroll back up.
I also thought that maybe I just needed to drag it back up into its typical area, but if I ever need to reload the page, it sets back to default.
Thank you for looking into this so quickly. Please let me know if you would like additional screenshots, though I’m not sure if it would be too helpful.

So I did a little bit more finagling. I installed the new release of the theme that was just released today and I still had a the problem. So, I deleted all of my plugins once more, reinstalled them, and it is now working.
I did the same thing last night, but this time it seems to have worked.

Hi, I just reinstalled the theme as I made a mess of the site and wanted to start again. This time my typography page is all different, listed vertically. Not anywhere near as easy to use of it was before. I cant work out what I’ve done differently…

Hello ThemeNectar, just did the latest update and I don’t like what happen to the comment number, likes and share section in the header of single post. When on iPad (landscape) it sometime overlap on the title if the title is just a litle bit long… Could you give me some css to make it go under the title like when on iPhone or iPad portrait.

Hey, the current VC version (4.9) is giving a lot of users issues as seen in the comments for the plugin – I’m waiting to see the first minor update WPBakery releases to address the concerns before forcing it on users in Salient
