Hello i bought the theme in April. Sometimes the site doesn´t work. Lately everytime i press any option the site takes me to the “home” page. but i can´t reach the blog, galleries, anything. So is not responding… any solution?

also i want to know how to update the site with the new version.

thank you

I`ve lost mouse wheel scrolling ever since updating to the latest 1.4.3

Hi Vilius,

some users were mentioning this: “6. Problem: on mobile devices (in my case iPad, iPhone), while scrolling on a background-image styled page the header and footer move and bounce along with the content. This is a big annoyance!”

Any news on that issue?

Thanks a lot, keep it up :)

Good morning, we paid the staff and we have not received any support and we would like a solution to our questions we have done.

On the one hand we want to remove icons from the main round slider for a professional vision. On the other hand, we want to place images in the vertical slider but entering from different display resolutions, they cut the photos are not displayed correctly. In the contact section [http://postimg.org/image/p7sdmclj9] want the area in which you place the e-mail is a bit wider so that will not cut it.

We wait your answer

Thanks

Hi,

I would like to increase the gap between “use arrows for navigation” and the first link “images” – where can I find this.. Thanks…

How to make a homepage that is a grid redirecting only to projects types, not to portfolios items. I m asking cause I have like 70 portfolios items and this is series, so I prefer to redirect to portfolio page which display only the items.

Hope you can help. Thanks

Hi,

I purchased the theme but it does not show in my downloads and now I can’t update it. Is this something you could help me with?

Hey,

my guess is that you have used a different account when originally purchasing Fluxus. Links in ThemeForest’s download section never expire so after logging in with the correct account you should see Fluxus there.

Regards, Vilius

LOSS OF FUNCTION with 1.4.3 :

When I went to edit portfolios I couldn’t see any of the images that I had loaded, I had to go back to the previous version to add new work.

Hey,

sorry for delayed response. I couldn’t reproduce the issue you’ve described. This sounds though as a result of JS error. I would suggest to update to 1.4.3 and then disable all your plugins. Hopefully this would fix the issue and then you could turn your plugins one by one to figure out which one was causing issues.

If that would not help, then please send me an email to vilius@inthe.me with your login information and Fluxus 1.4.3 installed so I could check if something else went wrong.

Regards, Vilius

Hi Vilius, I have stripped back my WP site to the minimum and the re install of Fluxus 1.4.3 works, although when I add the updated utils.js the grid portfolio doesn’t show it’s just a blank page.

Hi Villus, could you add notes of what is included in the Dec 7, 2015 version update?

Hi,

I was wondering if there is a way of using images with a higher resolution than 1920×1280? When zooming in on images in the lighbox that are twice as high (or more) as they are wide they start to become very pixelated. Being able to use higher resolution images in this case would be a good solution.

kind regards, Jamie

Hi,

I really like Fluxus!

I would like to use the vertical grid portfolio. As far as I see all images are in landscape orientation and they change aspect ratio when you change the size of your browser window. This would be a huge problem for me. Would it be possible to costumize this portfolio in a way that portrait and landscape and even square images are possible and all images keep their aspect ratio under all circumstances? I very much hope that this would be possible!

Thanks a lot.

Hey,

I’m afraid that the way Grid Portfolio works is that it has to fix the aspect ratio to a single value. You can choose to have square images, but all images will be squared, also you can use a portrait aspect ratio, but then all images will be displayed as portrait oriented. There’s no option to mix aspect ratios on a single page.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

Regards, Vilius

thanks for your reply, Vilius. Can the way Grid Portfolio works be customized?

Is there a way to delimit the portfolio items? as I see its set at 10, I have 17 items. Thanks Ash

I have solved the problem by creating a page with the horizontal portfolio layout instead of directing straight to the portfolio category.

Thanks

Hello, I’m trying to install the update 1.4.3 (.zip) but I only read a Wordpress message that “the destination directory already exists” so it’s impossible to install the update. Please would you kindly tell me how to bypass this message without losing all the contents? Thank you so much.

Hi,

All of my social networks icons in the footer are missing, seems to be the same on your demo site too – I can’t re-enable in theme options, doesn’t work. Also my ‘addtoany’ plugin stopped working.

Might be a caching issue on my side, its ok in chrome, firefox – seems to be my end thanks :)

Hey. I bought my theme in April 2015. Can i risk losing any styrling or any of my custom css if I upgrade to the newest update?

Since update 1.4.3 content scrolling using mouse wheel does not work – see http://www.lukas-gawenda.de

Currently I have reinstalled update version 1.4.2 to solve this problem – I am waiting for a new update!

New update I’ve installed on a test site to see what is affected, I was really hopping for the long awaited v2 :( promised during the summer of this year.

Version 1.4.3 – 06.12.2015

Fixed: Share widget, which stopped working after Twitter API changes. Twitter counter was removed because it is no longer possible to retrieve tweet count. Whole counter section is now hidden by default. It can be re-enabled in the Theme Options > Social.

Fixed: Share widget was overlapping content in Horizontal Grid Portfolio layout when viewed on mobile devices.

Fixed: StumbleUpon and LinkedIn share buttons won’t appear in the footer if they have been previously shown in the “Share This Project” section.

Improved: Content scrolling using mouse wheel or trackpad. Fixed: Magic Mouse super-sensitive scrolling on Horizontal Portfolio / Horizontal Grid Portfolio.

Fixed: Highlighting colors would appear when quickly changing images in Lightbox (or double clicking anywhere).

Uninstalled due to portfolios no longer being able to add or edit images.

P.S. your theme says ‘Theme for photographers’ not for web designers, that means the skill set is not for scanning pages of code which is always in different places on each template, their for please consider what photographers do for a living and we need to be doing that, your improved help file would be the best option for photographers.

Hi. Please add a top 10 most asked questions to your help file. That way you won’t have hundreds of unanswered post on your page. Their will always be certain adjustment made to every template purchased. I can’t spend 4 hours going through every line of your code to find things. It say their is 6 months of tech support, dug deep to find it doesn’t cover adjustments. I don’t think anyone needs 6 months of installation tech support, that doesn’t add up, it is deceiving. You could of replied to at atlas one note to say you don’t give advice on design tweaks to see me waiting. I have bought a lot of template of Theme Forest, either the help file covers most design tweaks and saves lots of posts, or someone helps. I’m not taking this personal I just think you need to review your help file like other people did or mark right at the top of your page ‘no design support offered’ and remove the support logo. I only need a few thing done and really they should be covered in the help file. If you could help me with those I would leave the matter.

1) Where can I can the text for ‘Use Arrows For Navigation’ to ‘Previous Next’ ? This looks dated, people know what arrows do, it will help people see an almost invisible design. 2) where can I change the colour of that text to make if more visible? People don’t see it, grey on white and it is small, I little bit bigger would help. 3)Change the ‘Dim background’ so it is not as dark, a bit more transparent would settle well with photographs.

These things could be in the help file.

Also having the option of large arrows on a portfolio like it is on the home page slideshow. Would nail this design. It a common design and very helpful.

With my Widescreen images in the portfolio the clicking on the screen only works if you click on the image not on the white area. Also clicking on the images has to be done twice to get the slideshow going as the first click only moves the first image a little. Feedback from picture desks in magazine was ‘I didn’t see the small arrows at first and they are barely big enough for the mouse.

Please don’t see this as help which could improve sales on the template before someone else see these issues and makes the perfect helpful template.

I have paid good money and put a lot of time into getting my website right before I found your small print with regard regard to ignoring design tweaks. I am more than happy to offer advice on the much better help file, I have seen some great one’s that get people upend running (most people know these days) and give atlas 20 design tweaks, you wouldn’t have 164 pages of posts, best J.

Hi James,

first of all sorry for not replying to you earlier. I have taken your feedback into account and hope to do a better job in the future.

As you have already learned ThemeForest’s support policy does not include item customisation. One way to easily get some minor theme tweaks is to use http://studio.envato.com/—looking at the changes you’ve requested this seems like a good option.

1) Where can I can the text for ‘Use Arrows For Navigation’ to ‘Previous Next’ ?

This can be found in footer.php file.

2) Where can I change the colour of that text to make if more visible?

Try adding following code to your user.css file:
.nav-tip {
  color: #111;
  font-weight: bold;
}

3) Change the ‘Dim background’ so it is not as dark, a bit more transparent would settle well with photographs.

Try adding following code to your user.css file:
.slide .info.white.dim-background {
  background: rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.5);
}

Hope this helps to get started.

Regards, Vilius

Hi Vilius, thank you for these things, it all worked great :)

I have set the dim to 0.2 black and white text, perfect on photographs.

One thing I can’t figure out.

How come you have put large navigation arrows on the home page slider but not on a portfolio design?

That option would be a game changer, most of the navigation is done on the portfolio’s.

Is their a way off adding large nav arrows easily?

If certain design updates where put in the help file like ‘change menu text from uppercase to low case’ which I would like to know.

And pick certain elements in each page of your design, you wouldn’t need any tech posts.

I could supply a list if you want my input, it wouldn’t be many but they are helpful tweaks to give everyone a personal adjustment.

I can’t delete unwanted images from the home slider list, any ideas?

Thank you for your email, best J
