Hello again,
in the backend, when viewing the portfolio items list, I just can see the creation date, but not the category, which is really needed if you have 50 items. Also sorting them depending on the category would be easier.
Is there a quick solution (until the next update) how I can implement this in my child theme?

On mobile, the blog summary (before clicking into the post) overlaps the “category” link at the bottom left corner. I’m using the “Blog Grid 3 columns” full width layout.

This is a bug with a color overlay in the footer widget area on mobile, it overlaps the footer logo and footer menu at the bottom. This issue will be fixed in our next update.

When you edit this Team Members Slider element, you can add xs-hide to the Extra CSS Class field in the element settings window so this element won’t appear on mobile.
Also, in our next update we will add an option to hide any element on mobile easily.
I don’t want to hide the team element I just ant to display these entirely without the slider effect. each person below each one.
Sorry but there is no option to disable slider on mobile. The only way to disable slider, you should set an Auto Play option for this element to “Disable” but it won’t play slider on desktop and mobile.
On mobile, my footer nav. menu does not work. Only the side menu works… Is this by design or a bug?

After I inspect the output of your website, I see your home page has a large size of video background, it’s almost 60MB so it can take a long time to load and play. When I go to another page such as Work and Contact Us, it seems to work fine and can load in a second.
However, you can install the cache plugin like W3 Total Cache (https://wordpress.org/plugins/w3-total-cache/) to minify JavaScript and CSS files, it can improve your server performance and reduce the download times.

It’s might because the current version of Slider Revolution plugin that installed on your website is not compatible with the theme. Make sure you’ve installed the correct version of this plugin (5.1.1 or 5.1.2).
Hey I am having an issue with the theme on mobile. If you go to this link on mobile http://sociallyin.wpengine.com/portfolio you will see that each of my portfolio boxes have a weird overlay on them that causes the colors to change. I’m thinking it’s that blue overlay, but is there anyway to fix this on mobile. It doesn’t look good at all. Thanks.
On mobile, the title and category name will always appear. Unfortunately, when the featured image of portfolio item has a white background, the portfolio title will be not clear and sometimes it’s invisible since it has a white color on the white background image so we’ve added an overlay background on the featured image of portfolio item to to solve this issue.
However, you can add the custom CSS below to Theme Options -> Advanced -> Head Content, to remove this overlay background and add shadow to portfolio title instead.

We suppose it’s a sidebar option issue in Flora Options, this issue will be fixed in our next update.
However, you can fix it yourself by editing your Blog page (Posts Page), scroll down to Flora Options section at the bottom of the page, select Page tab and change Sidebar Name option to Default and update the page.
Hi there. Unfortunately this doesn’t work. The space of the side bar is empty and no content is shown. Sometimes it shows a message “There is no widget in this sidebar”. All I can do right now is not to show any sidebars in order to have my site displayed properly and to not give the user an impression of something broken. This happpens not only on the blog page but on per post as well.

We just edited the sidebar function in the main functions of your theme so it’s working fine, please take a look on your blog page and blog posts.
Also, don’t worry about these changes and you can update the theme normally in the future.

By default, the blog pages and blog posts will use the Blog Sidebar as their sidebar. When you add any widget to the Blog Sidebar in Appearance -> Widgets, you don’t need to choose the Sidebar option for each blog page and blog post, just leave this option as “Default”.
Also, the issue with cart button in dropdown has been fixed in our next update. We will release this update ASAP!

The contact form included in the demo content, if you have the contact form 7 plugin installed on your website you will see this form in Contact section.
You can increase the logo size by adding the custom CSS to Theme Options. If you’d like we can provide the custom CSS to increase the logo size. However, we’re not sure which theme you’d like to make changes since you post your comment in the Flora theme section but seems like you mentioned to the Vela theme.
Also, in the future please contact us from the account that purchased this theme to make sure you’re currently in the correct product page that corresponds to what you have purchased.

I installed the plugin contact form but the form is the one shown in the demo Flora, I would have fields such as those created in the other your theme “the vela” I had given as an example only. 1. Navigate to Contact section and select a contact form to edit. 2. In Form tab, replace the old code with the new one below, and save changes:

Regarding my last message.
I found out, that when I deactivate the option to view the post date in the Theme Settings > Blog Meta > Post Date > Display blog post date. Then the Flora Masonry Blog view is crashing. I did also a complete fresh installation with your demo content to confirm this.
It seems like a bug in the theme.

If you’re talking about a message from contact form, this form will send an email to your email directly it won’t keep any message in the inbox on your website. You can set your target email by editing your contact form and select Mail tab, add your email into the “To” field.
Regarding the author name in the blog posts, you can hide it in Theme Options -> Blog -> Blog Meta -> Author Name.

For the portfolio pieces, how do I get rid of the magnifying glass that lets the user briefly go from one featured image to the next?
It kind of creates confusion for the user wanting to looking at the actual portfolio piece (by clicking on the name of the portfolio piece) OR just by looking from portfolio piece 1 to portfolio piece 2 featured images (by clicking on the magnifying glass).

We’ve never seen this problem before, both simple tabs and icon tabs are working now on our demo sites.
It’s might because there is a plugin conflict. If you’ve any other plugins installed please deactivate them one by one until you find the problematic plugin.
If it still doesn’t work, please send us your site URL and admin login credentials in the contact form -> http://themeforest.net/user/wyde#contact so our support can investigate this issue and help you out.
Also, the current version of Revolution Slider that included in the latest update of Flora theme is 5.1.2, but there is no issue with YouTube video in this version, we can add a YouTube video to the slider without any problem.
However, in our next update we will add the latest update of Revolution Slider (5.1.4) to the theme.

Seems like you’ve set a white color of logo as the normal logo so it will disappear when it’s on the light menu. When you choose “Light” for the “Header Background” option, your website will use the white background color of the top menu so you should set a red logo as the normal logo (1st option of Logo in Theme Options -> Navigation -> Top Navigation -> Logo) so it will visible on the light menu.
Also, on your home page that you’ve enabled the Transparent Header. You should change the Foreground Style of this page to Light so it will display the white logo that you’ve set as Logo for Dark Header in Theme Options -> Navigation -> Top Navigation -> Logo for Dark Header instead of the red logo.
If you’ve imported our demo content, you will see we’ve set a dark logo for the Logo (1st option) and set the white logo as Logo for Dark Header.
If you can’t figure it out, you can send us your admin login credentials in the contact form -> http://themeforest.net/user/wyde#contact so our support can access your site to change this settings for you.

You can’t display and play the video in the portfolio grid. This element will display only featured image, you should click on the featured image to go to the portfolio detail page to see and play your video instead.
