Hello, I absolutely love this theme I have been using it for a while. I am struggling with one thing … perhaps you can help me.
I have a Portfolio image set to “grid” and I will like it to display as slightly grayed out till you haver over it … the same as you guys have on your demo page (each demo portfolio image) Page: http://themeforest.net/item/salient-responsive-multipurpose-theme/full_screen_preview/4363266

Well, I think its the normal visual composer. When I upload that to use instead of the salient visual composer, that’s when they disappear.
I want to use that as it allows for full height and width rows where as your doesn’t.

Hey – you could do something similar, I would thoroughly look through all the demos to get a feel for the various options and styling
i am see the demos but not see if can make for me i will buy and i can more money to customize
You can’t recreate that exact look without custom development but the core elements of it could indeed be achieved. Such as full width content columns, off canvas menu, column animations etc
i am mot know custom development if i buy u can help me to do the look same i want or make for me some more change

Hi, am i being really stupid. I can not find (it is imperative that you check the “Last Column” check box for the last column in every row. ) this checkbox. Where the hell is it if it is so imperative lol?
Hey, it’s only imperative that you check it if you’re generating columns from the nectar shortcode generator – not when using visual composer. When using the shortcode generator there’s a checkbox for it http://i.imgur.com/iLLJj9c.png
How can I change the size of the Nectar Slider text on smaller screen sizes and mobile? Some computers it displays at the correct size and others it’s really small. There seems to be no rhyme or reason to it. Here’s the home page of where I’m talking about. http://www.freshstart.church

Hi i just upgraded my php version to 5.5 from 5.2 and it made my site through up a 500 internal error – when i switched back to 5.2 my site is working again.
Is there an issue with the salient theme and php version 5.5??

Hi,
1) Whenever I clear the caches on an iPhone safari browser, the mobile menu fails to load up. Instead, I see a white background.
2) And whenever I scale down the the browser window on a laptop to a mobile size window, the mobile menu displays half trimmed. I haven’t experienced this problem with the previous version 6.1.71. Looks like this mobile menu is a bug in the current version.
3) Until the next update is released, can I please have the download link to v 6.1.71.
4) Also, when is the next version due ??

Have you tried to turn the sticky mobile menu option on to see if that helps your issues? The new update is due out in a couple days

hey, I discover an error in your portfolio structure…. Why when we set up SEO on the portfolio page settings (edit page), the content from visual composer is not visible for the SEO plugins? This problem doesn’t exist for the other standard page, but only for portfolio pages. Really strange…
p.s. I’m using SEO by Yoast and it doesn’t see the content of portfolio items created with your theme…

Yoast simply checks the main metabox for content where as the extra content editor is a custom second metabox. The content is still placed the same way on the actual site though

Great theme. For a one page layout, Is there a way display a limited amount of headline text with a “read more” button that expands that section. Im looking to have a very simple layout for initial scrolling and then offer in depth info within each menu item. As of now this would need to be done manually by adding an image gallery element and link each tile to your desired category – this is the technique that this demo uses themenectar.com/demo/salient-ecommerce

For some reason I am getting an extra div/white row above my footer & below my bottom row. I was wondering if you could take a look at my site and let me know what I’m doing wrong?
