This scenario can be achieved, but not fully. If you use portfolio custom template, you can build portfolio single item just like any other page by adding shrotcodes from Visual Composer. Only thing that can’t be achieved is Blog masonry shortcode which doesn’t have included category filter (opposite from blog page template that do have included category filter).

Please note, if you’re referring to our demo site, it’s because some elements on page do have additional styling options in shortcode, applied per page instance. This local value isn’t affected with global first main color change.

When it comes to single portfolio, there are few predefined layouts for it, and also two custom in which you can use Visual Composer to build content just like you would in any other page.

You should install Contact Form 7 plugin, once activated you will have additional styling options within Select Options interface: http://screencast.com/t/IH3wBG6m0sk

Then, navigate to Admin > Forms and create form. Once you save it, it will be available in shortcode – navigate to any page and using Visual Composer add Contact Form 7 shortcode, previously saved form will be listed in dropdown.

1) Yes, Visual Composer is included and frontend is disabled to make it fully compatible with our custom shortcodes. However, if needed, fairly simple is to enable it again.

2) 34$ is actual value of Visual Composer on Envato market if you decide to purchase it on your own.
