Yes, this is possible in wp-admin -> Appearance -> Theme Options -> Layout -> Services Layout and here you must select No Sidebar.

I am really happy with the carpress theme, but I have a question about the slider arrows. We are using the slider, but only have one slide and aren’t adding any more in the header. Is there a way to hide the slider arrows on the left and right? I’ve tried putting in some custom css code, but it isn’t working. Any suggestions on how to hide these arrows?

yes, you can do it with custom CSS, but first you’ll need to find the right CSS class/selector. You can easily find the CSS classes / selectors yourself with Chrome dev tools. Envato has very very long queue at the moment, we are waiting 3 weeks already for the review and approval from them. It was submitted on March 3.

sorry, CarPress is not RTL supported.
Spent about 12 hours touching up code and enhancing files. This theme now comes in at 92/100 mobile and 97/100 desktop for Google developer pagespeed, while being properly coded and 100% properly set for schema. You realize there is no proper H1 title on any page, and often too many H# on some pages, plus simple fixes like minimizing JS,CSS and images in the assets folder. I think if the developer took their time with it could accomplish much more. A great theme that can be used for ANY service industry or even change “service” to “product” – with some tweaking. I’d like to see the next release cleaned up. I dig Proteus themes and will continue to purchase from them, but would be ideal if they’d introduce better marketing aspects on the pages.
IMPORTANT NOTE: You must change line 173 in function file ( from: http://maps.google.com to https://maps.google.com ) in order to have the SSL complete.

Thank you for all your input. It is valuable for us, but you must understand our position that since the theme has almost 3000 sales, many customers are relying heavily on the existing HTML markup with modifications and changes like you proposed so late in the process would trigger many websites visually crash and lots of extra work involved for everyone that would update the theme.
But it is very valuable input for the future products we create.
About the google maps URL: that was fixed more than a year ago already, now using the protocol agnostic url in all our themes: //maps.google.com. All our demo pages are on HTTPS as well.
I hope you understand our position.

Do you have URL? You should find a class and apply the background-color: #fff; CSS to it. We can do it for you, but it is a paid customization for $29.

It is most probably issue with the server settings. Ask your hosting provider to increase php memory limit and max execution time and this should solve problem.
CarPress theme is not supported anymore, sorry. We need to follow the Envato’s rules so we are not allowed to provide support for the items that do not come with support anymore.
I would like a boxed layout but use Revslider instead of this theme’s built in slider. It seems to be overlapping into the menu. Whats the best way to get around this
