Hello, before purchase:
1. I wanted to know if the social media icons in the demo are the only social media icons this them offers or does it allow me to add more than the 4 that are shown or can they be substituted for others that are not shown (i.e. LlinkedIn, YouTube, etc?
2. Can these social media icons be added to any other location on a page or are they only restricted to the bottom of the page as shown in the demo?
3. Can the color of the social media icons be modified to look more like the actual social media icons or are they restricted to how they are shown in the demo as being transparent?

1. The popular social media are includes. Including LinkedIn and Youtube. You can add more than those displayed in demo.
2. The demo displays current design where social media icons are present in the theme.

1. i really like the look and function of Fotorama Fill. 1.1 Is it possible to set it as an album? For example, i have 3 categories, travel, street and food, and i place those 3 in the menu. When clicking on one, for example travel, you will be directed to an album with the fotorama fill function. Is this possible to present my pictures like this? Because i don’t like the look of the standard portfolio
1.2 i see that the Fotorama fill option is similar to the “Stories” category/function. As i mentioned in 1.1, is it possible to present my pictures just with the stories look ?
2. when setting a over photo, you can click “our works” and get redirected to the standard portfolio. Can you place any link there?

1.1 You can have multiple Fotorama Fill galleries and link them in the menu. But they don’t support categories like how portfolio do.
1.2 Photo Stories can be linked to menu as well.

Hello, one more question please, before purchasing (really love this theme), regarding ‘self-hosted’ video. Does this theme offer this ability, to ‘self-host’ videos by uploading video files from my desktop instead of going through video servers such as youtube, vimeo, etc?
I asked an author from another website template this same question and he replied saying that not only is this available, but it’s a feature of WordPress for some time, so it’s no longer a theme’s special feature.

Yes, self hosted videos can be displayed as fullscreens and blog post. ( Fullscreen , Blog post
WordPress also supports adding self hosted videos inside blog posts and page contents – this is what was meant as WordPress supported. But natively WP doesn’t support displaying self hosted videos anywhere else other than inside page contents. Displaying of self hosted videos as fullscreen is through theme functions.

They will readily work out of box without the need to contact support. All features seen in demo will work out of box. If somehow it doesn’t function then we can surely help through our support forum so that they function as seen in demo.

Anyone shopping here, please take note, I have posted comments to other authors with very nice templates and either I didn’t hear back from them ever or the ones that did reply, took very long to reply, and by that time I had really forgotten about them.
So I’ve gotta say, communication is key, and with the lack of it with the unmentioned authors elsewhere, you will see from your own experiences, that authors such as imaginem have not only good and innovative sites, their response is speedy in comparison to the rest out there and by light years and that makes it all the more wortwhile! Plus their themes also best suite what I would think would be most needs in a WordPress theme.

1. Yes, if there is a single event then the carousel won’t slide. It will only show the single event.
2. Events will display and function like how it’s in demo. It will functions that way out of box.
3. Changing of transparency will require a small code which we can provide through support forum. Changing position will be trickier and will affect responsive layouts – we advise on contacting a developer for changes that require more time than we can provide within the scope of theme support.
4. Sorry , that’s not a feature of theme.
5. The theme doesn’t include that function. All functions seen in demo will be present out of box. Those features not seen in demo is in general not included with the theme.

This has happened several times, each time i’ve called the hosting site & its taken them more than an hour to fix, sometimes they cant even fix it the restore my site to a previous date. This isn’t normal behavior of WordPress. I see that you’re using cache which can elevate the problems if there are issues already giving odd results. Or it could be something to do with the database.

Hello, the theme looks fabulous, and the customer service as well! I have some worries about functionalities I need for my purpose (not photography, but a theater-company) and I did not find the answers in this forum:
1) Is it possible to have one single fullscreen video-background over multiple pages, meaning the video continues to play even if the visitor navigates to different pages?
2) Is it possible to deactivate pause/play function on all kinds of fullscreen background videos? (The viewer should have no control)?
3) Is it possible to seamlessly loop YouTube and Vimeo background videos?
4) Is it possible to use Vimeo- or YouTube-hosted background videos without displaying any commercial links and watermarks to Vimeo, YouTube, JWPlayer, share, etc.?
5) Can the visitor choose to turn sound of a fullscreen background-video on and off, on any page (homepage), and can the default be chosen in the theme options?
6) I was originally looking for a theme with “The Event Calendar” or “EventOn” integration. You have “events”, but no calendar. Has your theme been tested with The Events Calendar? Are you planning on integrating a themed template page for a calendar (month view)?
7) Is it possible and how easy is it to build a “history-timeline” page?
Can I create a complete “client section” (not only image proofing) which is password protected? Can I manage multiple clients?

1. Sorry, that’s not a feature of the theme.
2. Currently the pause and playback of videos are native functionality which is present in the videos.
3. Youtube videos are looped. The youtube videos goes through youtube API so for it to be seamless in looping it needs to instantly reinitialize from youtube. This factor is dependent on youtube and the server which the video is communicating with. If there’s delays in the server or youtube there will be a re-initialization delay which the theme doesn’t have control of.
Vimeo videos don’t support looping.
4. Since the videos from youtube and vimeos are played back from the video hosts they retain control of them. If the videos don’t have advertisements then there won’t be any ads. Otherwise they will display.
5. The fullscreen videos don’t have audio mute while in playback. It needs to be paused for this.
6. The theme uses it’s own posts for events which doesn’t include a calendar system. I can make a note of this as a requested feature.
7. History timeline feature isn’t there in the theme.
8. The proofing galleries can be password protected. But they don’t have client management.
You can check theme demo for all features of the theme. If a particular feature isn’t there in the theme demo then in general the feature isn’t included. All features seen in demo will work out of box.

Hi, while I was looking for a new layout I just found your impressive theme. I did not yet buy this theme because I’m looking for a theme which does not upscale the images and I’m not sure if your theme supports this need. Is it possible to limit the picture zoom of the lightbox picture to its native size. If I use a picture at my actual theme with a width of 1400px and open it on a 27” wqhd monitor, the image is upscaled to full screen and does not stay at its max size of 1400px and this looks not good for me.
Hi, Images in the lightbox are never upscaled. It’s displayed at a maximum of the the source image if it can be viewed in the browser window. Otherwise they are downscaled to view in full.

Hi, I’m thinking of buying this fine theme. I have a few questions first:
1- What’s the difference/similarity (or intended purpose/example) of portfolio vs worktype album vs stories. In other words what’s the purpose or typical use of each of these types?
2- Can I create a portfolio that appears only on the home page (e.g. 6 photos) each photo providing a link to a portfolio/story page within the site? E.g. a home page photo portfolio?
3- Is it easy to change the logo to my own logo?

1. a. Portfolio galleries consist of portfolio item galleries. They navigate to portfolio details pages.
b. Work type albums consist of portfolio category galleries. They navigate to Portfolio galleries , and from there to portfolio details.
c. Photo Story galleries represent fullscreen photo story slideshows.
You can check each of them from demo and see how they function.
2. You can set a portfolio gallery as homepage. And the portfolio item can be set as a custom link so that they can be linked anywhere. In your case you can link to photo stories as well.
Here’s an example portfolio galleri which can be set as homepage ( Portfolio Gallery ) – Check the 9th thumbnail which is set as a custom link.
3. Yes – changing logo is very easy through theme options.

Mobile devices deactivates autoplay audio at browser level. This has been there since the start of mobile browsers, most likely implemented due to expensive mobile bandwidth data that can occur to users unexpectedly. For this reason currently background audio isn’t active on fullscreen slideshows when viewed on mobiles.

Welll, it is there if you choose a Ken Burns Fullscreen Gallery. I see the loudspeaker icon and therefore can hear the audio.
This is misleading !
The icon is to turn the volume on/off for desktops. The function to toggle this on mobile is in the works and will be rolled out as an update soon.

Great theme! Great design quality! But I have few questions before I buy:
1. it is possible to change background color in lightbox window with big size picture (after clicking on thumbnail)? Now the background is white, but i would like to have black. Of course then text and navigation arrows in this window must be also in different color (white).
2. in this same lightbox window, on top are now social media icons (facebook, pinterest, twitter). Is possible to disable them? and if they are disabled then picture in this window would be even bigger?
3. it is possible to connect to the picture in portfolio (grid masonry) link to an external page that opens in a new window?
4. I see that theme i using Resized images for thumbnails (I extremely like it!)... are they always used in all types of portfolio? is there any control the size of these thumbnails?
5. Is there somewhere a demo page in multi-lingual versions?

1. Lightbox background color and text, navigation colors can be changed using color pickers from theme options.
2. Social icons in the lightbox can be removed but it won’t give way for a bigger image in the lightbox. It’ll be the same size.
3. Portfolio items can be linked as a custom link. But it doesn’t work as a new window link. It opens to the same window. We can provide you code to open it as a new window via support forum. Please check this function from demo. ( Portfolio Gallery Check 9th thumbnail )
4. In Kinetika theme the portfolio galleries are sized according to gallery column size. Please check how they are displayed in demo. There’s portrait and landscape variations.
5. The theme supports multi lingual translation through WPML plugin. If you’re familiar with the plugin – it switches pages based on the language chosen. WPML is a commercial plugin and is the best choice which will translate the theme , menu and theme options without additional codes. There’s free multi lingual plugins as well but they don’t server as well to translate menu and theme options variables. Demo doesn’t display multi lingual pages.

I bought this template ( http://kinetika.imaginem.co/) to build my webpage with multi-language option. I read the description of this template, and they said multi-language option is already installed but, I can’t find any multi-language plugins, then I installed multi-language plugin which is compatible with Wordpress, after that, in the webpage, I could see 2 different languages, but I couldn’t find an option to write the blocks in different languages so I can change the language but the blocks will not change and stay at the original language. Please can you help me and tell me how to install multi-language which is compatible for these blocks. In which I can change the block’s language. For example: I showed a statics about a company, there are some words written in English while when I change the language to French the statics block is still in English, and when I try to change the language in Wordpress in the blocks but there is no option like that. So can you please help me fix this problem.

The theme is fully compatible with WPML plugin for multilingual translation but doesn’t not include this plugin since it’s a commercial plugin and requires to be installed separately. There are free multi lingual plugins as well but WPML is the recommended one for the theme for multi lingual translations.
