Hello! I would like to ask 2 questions.
1. Is it possible to add a custom loader instead of the ones that the theme has? Are there GIFS?
2. When I use the Portfolio Grid on Visual Composer and put the “Show More Button”, when I press it, the portfolio items that load are the same as loaded before. How can I solve this so that it loads the rest of the items?

1. Add the code below to your child theme to replace the page loader.

Install and activate flora-child-theme.zip, navigate to Appearance -> Editor to edit Flora Child theme and add the code above to Main Functions (functions.php). Replace image URL with yours.
2. Sounds like this is an issue with pagination.
1) If you’ve changed the Portfolio Slug option in Theme Options -> Portfolio -> Portfolio Single Post to another such as “portfolio” and you’ve the page named “portfolio” so you will have an issue with URL conflict, you should rename your page to “portfolios” or another different one.
2) If you are using WordPress 4.4.1, there is a bug report about pagination issue on front page (home page), see more -> https://core.trac.wordpress.org/ticket/35344 If you have portfolio grid on home page, it couldn’t load the posts in the next results so you will see the same posts as the first results, you can update your WordPress to fix this issue.

2. As for the Load More issue, i am using WordPress 4.4.2 and I have not changed the slug in the portfolio setting. What else can I do in order to solve this issue?

I am using portfolio grid to show all of our work. Can i turn off each portfolio to not be clickable so that it dont go to single portfolio description page.
We’re sorry but there is no option to turn off this, each portfolio post always navigate to its own single portfolio page. If you’d like to show your gallery images only, please use the Image Gallery element instead. This element also have masonry and grid layout like a portfolio grid.

BTW, you can turn off Preload Images option in Theme Options -> General so your site will display the loader with just a few seconds. Also, you can install the cache plugins such as W3 Total Cache ( https://wordpress.org/plugins/w3-total-cache/ ), it can improve your server performance and reduce the download time.

By default, the color of links use the same color as the theme color scheme that you can change in Theme Options -> General -> Predefined Colors or Custom Color Scheme.
However, if you’d like to use the different color for the links you can add the custom CSS below to Theme Options -> Advanced -> Head Content:

On this demo page (http://wydethemes.com/flora3/) there is the part with orange and yellow boxes. On the right side is an image with a girl and an orange. On the left side is a box with “One Click Demo Import”.
Everything works fine with Chrome, Firefox or any other browser only on IE 10 or 11 the image won’t load. Could you please tell me how to fix this problem because I’m using this element on my website.

I want to use my own page layout for the portfolio that is different to the prepackaged options. The dialogue in the visual composer’s portfolio grid says I can specify specific pages to display. but when I start typing the names and select the pages it shows me the resulting front end of the portfolio grid is empty. It says that this function is also dependent on ‘post types’ selection but the dialogue doesn’t give post types as an option.
Basically I’d like to know if and how I can use the visual composer portfolio grid to access standard ‘pages’ rather ‘portfolio posts’

We’re sorry but the portfolio post will link to its own post page, you can’t use your own page layout for it. The Custom Posts options in Visual Composer settings window is only for displaying specific posts to in the portfolio grid output. It’s not for changing the page URL for the portfolio post.

We’re sorry but the Icon Picker in Info Box element doesn’t support image at all. You can only use font icons that allow you to change the color and support retina display.
Hi, I am having an issue where animations are being loaded at the start of page load where they are given the height of the page. However when the page height is changed due other effects or other wordpress plugins changing the height of their elements on the page the animations no longer animated when the user scrolls to the place of animation, instead it fires after or before the point of the animation firing depending on which way the height of the page was changed. To give you a simple example of what i mean when the page loads it is 1000px height with an animation happening at 900px down the page… However the height of an element resizes closer to the top of the page before the animated element, this resize takes 200 px off the page height this makes the page height 800px. because the animation isn’t refreshed the animation due to fire on the page is now 200px less than it’s original position but the animation is still set to fire at 900px. This means the animation never happens as the page doesn’t scroll to 900px anymore. I believe this is probably which a quick fix adding a one page resize refresh animation or just simply refresh the height of the page which was saved in a variable but now needs refreshing and the new height adding.

In the visual composer on this backend page I don’t see the row for the contact and Google maps… but they are on this page front end.
It seems that the “contact us” page is include in the one page website. But i don’t see it in the back end editor.
How can i simplify this and to the trick on the back end visual composer?

Make sure you have the latest version of the theme since this issue has been fixed in our recent updates.
I updated to 1.2.3 – still both navigations are visible but design of sidenav changed (with background now). Cache has been emptied of course.
Sorry but I suppose this is a browser compatibility issue since we’ve never tested on android browser and this theme doesn’t support this browser at all. The default browser on android doesn’t support modern CSS and animations at all. You should use Chrome for Android instead.

I have another question, if you could maybe help me. With the Team Members Slider in Flora theme, I am wondering if there is a way to adjust the size of member’s photo that is displayed, or perhaps the total height of the slider. I somehow can not find the setting.

You have 2 ways to adjust the size of member’s photo.
1. Change the Visible Items option of Team Members Slider, photos will be smaller when you’ve more items display on screen. 2. Adjust the column width by adding the left and right padding in Design Options tab when you edit the column settings.

thank you for your answer. i have tried both ways, but the photos of team members just get narrower, the height remains the same. For example, I have 2 team members I would like to display and I would like the whole slider to be smaller in both, vertical and horizontal dimensions, because now their photos span nearly across more than half of the screen.. Since the default image size is in landscape format so when you upload the portrait image it will be cropped and won’t work. This issue will be fixed in our next update!
Hello, i purchased and installed this theme but i have an issue. http://mikeweeks.co/ on the homepage i added 2 embeded video from youtube with visual composer but as i can see from firebug the js libraries from youtube are called twice. as a result of that, about 2-3MB of files are called without any reason. can you resolve this issue, so that the website can run faster? thank you in advance.

The Video Player element just only displays the embedded code from YouTube as iframe that links to video player from YouTube website directly. This player and js libraries are on YouTube site and they are called by YouTube that can’t be handled at all.

Let me preface this by saying that I have zero knowledge of website building and/or coding—I am probably below beginner level, even with using a template. Currently, I am having trouble figuring out how to build the home page of the minimal portfolio template. When I imported the Minimal Portfolio demo, the “Home” page was/is nothing but some code (see at laceynichols.com). I have created a portfolio project (that is still using placeholder text) to see if this page automatically populates as you create each portfolio post, but that also didn’t do anything on the home page (the portfolio post: http://www.laceynichols.com/portfolio/theprocampaign/).
