Hello guys, I had problem with Portfolio section. Infinite scroll just duplicating same items again and again.. I tried with and without custom portfolio url slug. Always update permalinks in WP settings. It doesn’t work. This problem are very old and still didn’t fixed. Please try to add portfolio section via visual composer on any portfolio item page and then PUBLISH it. Cause when you’re viewing page in preview mode everything works fine. Please help!

You just have to create any PORTFOLIO Item page and add there portfolio section with infinite scroll pagination type. Current problem for portfolio items, everything works fine on simple pages. It’s pretty easy to get this issue. Let’s say you have Jack Graham portfolio item on your current online demo. Try to add portfolio section there and publish updated page. Refresh page in your browser and you will see that elements in portfolio section simply duplicating again and again..

How can I switch off the home slider for home page and instead use nectar slider?
Hey, in your page attribute meta box located on the right hand side of your edit page screen assign a default page template instead of one of the home ones which (include a Home Slider automatically)

Big Issue with Safari – Nectar Video Sliders take around 11 seconds to load on a page, but it’s instantaneous on Firefox and Google Chrome. This is an isolated issue with the Safari browser. This really needs to be fixed. Please contact me about how this can be resolved on your end. Thanks, Aviad

Bit of a technical question but how do you edit a button once you have added it to a text block?
I’ve created some elements in the page and have added a text-block then inserted a Nectar Shortcode and selected a button. I now need to edit the color and style but can’t see how I do this. Is it possible to do?

if you generated a new button shortcode you could copy the parameters you need off of it for your existing one – however the next update will also most likely add the button shortcode in as a VC element as well

Hi. A few days back, I had written to your regarding my requirement for having a transparent header for only one page. You had provided a solution which was to enable Transparent Header option in the Salient Options panel. And then disable for each individual page.
This worked perfectly well. Except that, the header title (which used to be centered vertically) is no longer centered vertically!
Please help me fix this issue. My Ticket No. is #665503.

Thanks for help with the questions this week. One more for you. When navigating to the website it’s taking a bit of time for the Google Fonts I’ve set to render on the page. For a few seconds as it’s loading you can see a different font before it clicks over to the defined Google fonts. Any ideas on this delay in rendering? Thanks as always. (newleafwellness.biz)

I’m having some Visual Composer issues.
I’m not seeing basic visual composer elements, like “Button”, in the Salient visual composer plugin. Is there a bug on my end or is “button” not an element in the salient visual composer plugin?
If it’s not an element in the Salient visual composer plugin is there a way to use the full version of Visual Composer and have Salient visual composer elements as an add-on?
Also, have you considered creating a version that works with Beaver Builder?

1. Some basic VC elements like that are removed because Salient already offers very similar items – in the case of the button there’s a button shortcode available through the nectar shortcodes which you can add in any text block
2. You can use the raw VC but you’ll loose some of Salients functionality
3. I haven’t heard of that builder before, but as of now there are no plans for integrating any other page builder

You don’t have to display the creation date on the portfolio items, you could enter any text you like for the subtext under the title which could in theory be any arbitrary date

Hi. Is there a way to control the portfolio navigation by category instead of everything in the portfolio? I am trying to create four different categories to individually scroll through but the pagination selects randomly through all portfolio categories. Any help would be great! Thanks

No matter what I seem to try I can’t change the nectar slider caption text size for mobile. I’m currently using this css:
