Hello. Please try to deactivate the Timeline plugin to see if it works better that way.
Another option – if you’ve finished customization already, add cache plugin which may help as well. Thank you.
it works better without the plugin , but then i bought the theme for this particular plugin – still soooooooo slow – is there a fix due?

This is a great template but unfortunately version 1.2 has slow performance issues compare to version 1.1. Other think that bothers me is the Content Time plugin version 2.35 when the current version of the plugin is 4.1.
Hello. Please try to re-import Content Time data if you just updated the theme. Our programmers should test newer versions of plugin before including it in package.
Hi there… there is a headache with timeline plugin. It seems the plugin is not well integrated or optimized to work properly with the theme. Or the theme is not optimized or prepared to work properly with this plugin. Or both. When I put this same plugin in other compatible themes, everything works fine. I think this is the best test i can do.

When the plugin is active in Jarvis Theme, the page begin to work very very slow, and the only way to do the page run smooth is when the plugin is inactive or just deleted from plugins system.
I put a ticket with this case a couple of weeks ago, and the support told me that was a caché optimization problem, so i decide to install and run some optimization and cleaning cache plugins following the recommendations i get from your support.
Well. Now, with the plugin deleted and without any cache optimization plugins active, the site runs fine, very fine.
So when ones has one site running slow with a plugin installed (timeline plugin), delete the plugin, and the page begin to run smooth and fast, and the plugin is tested and working fine in other compatible themes, the problem is the Jarvis theme compatibility with the plugin. I think it’s a bad idea to use this plugin on this theme at least until you give a valid and real solution to the problem, rather than tell the customer that the problem is cache. We are very disappointed with your support.

Hello, i had check the given solution by updating the theme with 1.2 version and imported the content again, but the problem still there. The site runs slow as turtle!! Tell your programmers to test this: 1.- Make a fresh install of wordpress and Jarvis theme. 2.- Install all theme plugins. 3.- DO NOT import the content of content timeline plugin. 4.- Make a fresh new timeline with posts or categories. 5.- Note that everything runs fine. 6.- Make other new timeline with Events. 7.- Note that everything runs bad. 8.- This system do not support publishing Events, but the plugin yes.

Google map address is to be changed in Appearance -> Theme Options -> Footer -> Google map parameters (change Show Google Map to Yes to see all available settings).

Hello. Usually slow performance caused of numerous plugins installed. Please check the ones activated on site and consider if you can deactivate some if they are not required on website. Also after you finish customization you can install extra Cache plugin or use server tools of cache to get the site loading faster.
Do you have a Video Guide for this Theme? it is impossible to find out how to do event and stuff like that… i am at demo mode. to find out how.

It’s a very spectacular theme, congratulations! I’m planning to buy this item, but I’ve got some questions:
I would like to use the theme for a 4 day long festival event, and there are many events in one day (6-7 concerts/day). The timeline can order correctly the events in one day (sort by starting time), or the timeline is only usable for events not in the same day?
Is there any way, to place the logo up to the menubar, next to the menu from the left side?
Can I use another gallery plugin than the shipped with the theme?
Can I place a time countdown widget between the header slider, and the timeline?

Yes, you can try another gallery plugin, however we cannot guarantee there are no incompatibilities with theme coding or plugins comes with one;
You can add a countdown shortcode in content part of page;

Great theme. One question: The UPCOMING EVENTS timeline on the homepage took me 40 seconds to load? When I look with Google Chrome in the Console I see some .mp3 files that are timed out… Maybe something you still need to fix?
