Hello, I just received an email that version 2.9 of Impreza is available. At the moment I’m using version 2.6. Will the update of the new version go without having problems? Or do I have to change things afterwards? I’m using a child theme of Impreza. Just to be sure.

There shouldn’t be any problem, in case you didn’t override theme files, anyway I’d recommend to make a backup before updating to be in safe.

is there any Solution to create only one Background Image for more then one Content-Element in the Visual-Composer?
I need to use some different Grids but i want them to have the same Background image. Right now, the grids use everytime their own BG-Image and i dont want to use just a Background-Color
Is there something to do like a “wrapper” with BG-Image in HTML, where i can insert all my Grids? Or can i insert a grid into another grid?

Please read this article, this is a window to start migration process, most probably you updated the theme from previous version 1+ so you should migrate using this manual to version 2.8.1. Don’t forget to make a backup before making any changes to be in safe.

I bought this theme 5 months ago and I used it for my blog (http://themarketingtimes.net/).
Now I want to close my blog and open a new blog, using another domain. So, my question is this:
If I close finally my old blog (and I don’t reopen it anymore), can I use my bought license for my new blog on the new domain?
About my question, I found a discussion on themeforest at this link:

“If the theme is used on “A website/domain” for testing purpose then that same theme can also be used on “B website/domain” for production. But make sure to completely uninstall/delete the theme from “A website/domain” once the testing is done.”

So, can you confirm that I will able to use my license only for my new blog once I have deleted my old blog?
Sorry if ask you this question, but English is not my mother language, so I want to be very sure that’s possible.

In your case you can use Impreza theme on other domain if you completely deleted Impreza theme from other domain. So yes, we can confirm that.

Go to Impreza > Theme Options, and click on ‘Reset Options’ button, I’d recommend to create a backup before making any changes to be in safe.

i have done it…before…next question…so…i must add side bars to add widgets to the side (left or right) and to the footer?
There are predefined sidebars available (at Appearance > Widgets), to add desired widgets into footer area just place them into corresponding sidebars there, also you can create a sidebar at Impreza > Sidebars, then assign needed widgets to it, having done that you can assign this custom sider to particular page.

At the moment the Impreza theme doesn’t provide such ability out of the box. Good news: we plan to implement Header Builder in one of the next updates within 6-8 weeks so you will be able to build such layout.

You should click on ‘Pencil’ icon to edit Row Settings, and change ‘Row Columns Layout’ to ‘Boxed and without gaps’ to get equal height columns.

Is there a way to preserve the original ratio of featured images in posts? I’m creating post images with 10:4 ratio, but on the blog index they are still displayed in a different ratio, which seems to be your standard.
Somehow I was able to make one image with my desired ratio, but after updating it, it became like others.

Do you plan to support custom headers and footers that can be customized and set individually for posts/pages? Something similar to custom sidebars.
For example, there are a lot of product websites on Wordpress (like ours) and we need to have product context on all pages and blog context on posts and archives. This could be done with different header and footer combos.
Or is there a way to hack this with a child theme?

We plan to create a customizable header within 2 months, at the moment we have no plans to add the ability to create different headers for different pages. I recommend to create a Feature Request, and if it will receive many voices from other clients, we’ll consider implementing this feature in one of the next updates.? Also you can hire a developer if you need this to be implemented ASAP.

Help! When I narrow the screen window the menu starts to shift into two lines. How do I prevent it from the line to breaking into two and shifting down? You can make menu transform to ‘hamburger’ at Theme Options > Menu Options, if it won’t suit you can reduce the distance between menu items, you should reduce ‘Menu Items Indents’ value at Theme Options > Menu Options.

i tried, no luck. the menu is breaking becomes two lines when the page is mande narrowed…also, i tried removing the footer text no luck. should i be using some form of coding to prevent links to pages?
fixed the menu! yippie. now the footer text! how do i remove the dummy text….i erased it but the hyper links are still showing…:-(

Go to appearance menus, and uncheck footer menu there, to change copyright text go to Theme Options > Footer Options, and change it there.

Hello, I noticed that when using visual composer (only on this theme) within a Section of an Accordion element I am unable to add an ID. You seem to have removed this option. I have even enabled option for the unsupported VC features – yet the Accordion Section will has no option for ID

At the moment you can’t enable this option because Impreza slightly changes the original plugin functionality due performance and compatibility reasons, specifically the theme. That’s why I recommended to create a Feature Request, because it’s the best way to implement new features into theme.

WOW I might have to finally purcha$e this Impreza awesomeness (my designer buddy in NY just said Impreza one of his fav all time themes “stellar updates and support and amazingly clean like almost no other theme”) Only thing is, mobile is #1 for me these days and I try to only buy themes that have animation and ‘life’ and action on a mobile scroll experience… is there anyway these options can be enabled if we choose (i know adds to load time but a truly unique immediate scroll experience is priceless these days… do you also have your own theme slider, can there be a separate mobile menu and or VC sections can be hidden from desk/lap/tablet/mobile)? either way AMAZING theme!

You can enable animations on mobile devices at Theme Options > Layout Options, just reduce ‘Effects Disabling Width’ value to 300, effect s disabled by default due performance reasons. There is a built-in Image Slider element available, also Revolution Slider plugin is bundled so you can create awesome sliders using it. At the moment Impreza theme doesn’t provide support for second menu for mobile devices, but you can hide unneeded elements for mobiles using custom CSS code, you can create a ticket on our support forum (after purchasing), and our developers will provide a soulution. Rows (‘sections’) can be hidden for needed devices at Row Settings, I would recommend to testdrive Impreza, and all its features here.

Im wondering how compatible this theme is with Gravity Forms, I say this because all the paypal buttons on my theme are not clickable when viewed in Chrome. I dont know where the problem is, Its either the theme or Gravity Forms yet it works find in FF and IE. I have customers upset because they couldn’t checkout.
