Nothing is coming up for that ticket number unless it was on the old support system which has since been retired.

Yes, well you JUST changed the support system – meaning, those of us that had bought your product before this VERY recent change are now deleted as members of your forum.

I was asking about the footer.php file and what code needs to be changed to enable links in the footer (copyright) options in the theme. I think that was clear both by my questions and by the text in the email body.

As mentioned above, I can forward the email.

The question was easily answered before, with ONE email – and now, there is an issue. I suppose that is a result of not buying extended support.

There’s no code required you just go into Appearance > Menus > set the Footer Location and you’re good to go. Please see https://codex.wordpress.org/Appearance_Menus_Screen

Yes, I did change the support system and I put out notices everywhere about the change as well as why it had to be done on the homepage of the new site. Just a heads up.

Well seeing as you just threw a 1 star review on the theme thats really unappreciated from this side and totally unwarranted IMO. Myself since I’ve answered over 9k tickets personally and Hina just came on as support personnel a few months ago has answered tons as well, I hope you can understand that I can’t personally remember your ticket or what code was supplied to you.

Its not my choice either that Envato implemented a new support system where 6 months is included and after that you have to purchase an Extended Support pack to continue receiving it as the support site is a private system and not an open forum — although now public tickets are an option.

If you explain what the original issue was with the footer and maybe we can get this resolved and hopefully the rating changed as well, I’ve offered you nothing but great service in the past I’m sure of it, as well as a superior product to act like this is just in bad taste.

You can use any translation plugin you’d like, everything is localized and ready for it. However the language switcher you see in the demos is specifically built for WPML I’d recommend using that plugin instead, otherwise you’ll have to use one of qTranslates widgets or whatever options it comes with to do the switching, or hack the one I’ve already built for qTranslate in header.php via a child theme.

That’s actually not a bug as the JSON the map reads from is empty and the search and JSON aren’t connected so the query City lets say won’t be used instead, that’s why it states “0 Listings” at the top, the map displays the loading icon and the message within the results area “No properties were found which match your search criteria. Try broadening your search to find more results.”.

However maybe I can come up with something that when there’s no results the map collapses into the closed state, not sure but I’ll look into it! Thanks for the suggestion!

I’m personally taking a look at your ticket right now, just a heads up you opened this up less than 24 hours ago, Hina my support personnel receives quite a lot of tickets daily max response time is usually 48 hours but most of the time right around 24. Thanks for your patience I’ll respond to you on the support site.

I’d recommend using the WordPress Reset plugin to get your install back to default, then reactivate the theme and import the demo you wish to work with OR if you’re working on a live development server you can always just simply restore to an older backup on your server via your hosting provider.

Its all the same theme just different content, you just need to use the WordPress Reset plugin to get your database back to square one then follow the steps I outlined above.

Yes, any other content you’ve added will be removed if you reset the database. Again you can also just go through and manually delete the pages, listings, etc…since you imported both demo contents.

Just to be clear each Demo Import is JUST content nothing else its all the same single theme.

Wait so the reset will delete everything and just leave ur demo information? I just want to revert back to what it was earlier today not delete everything.. It’ll take forever to set it up the same way..

You don’t have to do anything then but remove whatever demo content you imported/don’t want, or you can contact your host and simply revert back to whatever time before you imported another demo super simple takes 30 seconds.

I have installed the envato toolkit can the todays updated backup be used to restore? If so how?

The demo import ONLY affects the content it doesn’t affect the actual theme code in any way, shape or form.

I always recommend updating so you get new features and bug fixes, but updating the theme WONT affect the demo content (listings, pages, posts, menus, widgets, images) you imported.

How can this be fixed? I just want the vacation demo gone and my site back the way it was before.

I’ve explained it multiple times you just delete the vacation demo content you imported through your admin, thats it. Done & Done.

Go into your Admin > click Pages > select the pages you don’t want delete, do the same for Posts and Listings. I think you’re overcomplicating it.

all previous theme options settings have been removed and overwritten with the vacation theme settings. Going to take a long time to set up as it was before.. It’s the reason I was hoping for a quick revert to previous option
