Hi..I want to know how the pages and templates that you have already designed can be Edited because all i can see when i enable Visual Composer is ,YOU HAVE A BLANK TEMPLATE ADD ELEMENTS TO START.
Those pages come with the Multi-listing Demo import. You’ll need to import that demo in order to get the contents of the pages created with Visual Composer. In a future update I might include their other plugin Templatera in order to import/export as templates however I’ve had major issues in the past with it so as of now the only way is to import the demo content as outlined in the documentation. Thanks for your purchase!

(make sure to shift+refresh your browser just in case your cached)Hey Chris, unfortunately i was still unsuccessful in getting the fields to change even when i went in with PoEdit and tried it manually, for some strange reason it keeps reverting… Could you check on your end to see if there’s any bugs with the changing of the fields please? Sorry to be a pain but I’m spending hours on trying to change something so simple and it keeps reverting to the same settings that came with theme. Thanks.
I honestly just did it locally no problem with Loco Translate following the KB article step for step. Screenshot in Loco http://cl.ly/3d053l2I2b28 and http://cl.ly/3l2C3S0k2E0R you can see under City it now says Area. Are you sure you’ve edited en_US.po? And you’re also set to English as your language in General > Site Language http://cl.ly/3u070a1J432h

The first link is yours not mine, you have three other .pot files for some reason. In the third making your change you need to change every one of the three from State to Area or Island whatever you’d like.

That’s all correct, it looks like you’re setup in Italian if that’s correct then you’ll need to make the changes to State or whatever taxonomy in the language file your WordPress installation is using and not in en_US otherwise the changes won’t show since that language isn’t being used.
Ok… I’m still a bit confused, is there anyway how i can find out what language file my WordPress is using? I really thought it was English ( en_US ) that’s what it’s reading in PoEdit when i try to change it manually. This is really confusing to me now. I tried to change the fields in Italian and English but I’m back to square one. I’m nearing a deadline and i am trying my best to utilize your theme but right now what I’m trying to is just not working. Do you think i may need to do a fresh install of the theme or WordPress maybe? As mentioned earlier, if you need to you can access my admin panel in the Private ticket i sent to you, or you can send me a private message and let me know if this will cost a fee for personal support from you or your team in the Private Ticket [Private Ticket #710375]. But I would like to end by saying thank you for your prompt feedback and assistance that you have been providing so far, that’s very professional of you ( and also was one of the things that moved me to purchase the theme without hesitation!).
Well it all depends on whatever Settings > General > Site Language is set to, simple as that. Not a problem. I also appreciate the kind words and do my best to help all my buyers.
If its set to English then you would edit en_US.po, for example its set to Turkish you would edit tk_TK.po instead, in your case if its set to Italian you would edit it_IT.po.
Exactly… It’s set to en_US.po that’s why it’s so strange to me. I’m on my mobile device now so I can’t send a screenshot but that’s the thing that really have me freaked out. I’m just at a lost right now I don’t know what’s going on. Even tried to reach out to loco translate. Anything else you may be able to recommend? Also can you reply to me in a private ticket in ref. personal support if that’s an option? If not its ok.

Why are old deleted content showing up on posts even after they have been deleted on an active post and what’s going on with the images and sliders for the blog posts not functioning.. The theme is not working properly and appears buggy. Can you please take a look.
I can assure you the theme is working 100% there’s nothing wrong with blog posts, or images within them. I’m having Hina respond to you on the support site, please read through her responses carefully.
I’m sure the “old” content is “showing” because you imported the demo content and thats what you’re seeing OR you rolled your site back like we’ve talked about in the past when you double imported the multi-listing and vacation rentals demo content on top of each other.
Site has been rolled back it no longer has the combo theme issues… The issues that its having now has to do with the updates.. The post slider seems to have automatically been turned off and some blog post texts show demo theme text that can’t be deleted or changed.

Seriously? The issue has not been resolved and I’ve wasted an insane amount of time trying to figure out the weird new bugs here and not to mention having to add and edit in the new content that was deleted b4 from the roll back.. Honestly I need it resolved, I have a nonfunctioning site..
The ticket hasn’t been closed I simply just responded to one of the points you mentioned, its still fully open and Hina will be helping you out. Please be patient we also have a lot of other buyers with tickets that have to also be attended to thanks for understanding.
The issue with the content is the “Manual Excerpts” from the demo content are still in place Screenshot delete those and you’ll be all good to go.
Normally instead of editing the Demo Content its better to just delete and create your own posts rather than try to edit over whats already there, the demo content is usually just used to show you how everything is put together you then study that and remove and replace it with your own.

Seeing that my Loco Translate plugin is not enabling me to change the name of State to Island or to Region ( or to whatever it is that i want to call it ) can you PLEASEEE provide me with an alternative method, maybe another plugin that i can use or something? I know you’re busy but i really need your support on this one buddy! Please send me a message back at your earliest. I’ve seen where you went in and changed the translation up in Loco Translate but to no success. Again if there’s another plugin that i can use then please let me know, or if you can do it manually through my admin page please let me know. This is a very critical situation for me. Awaiting your response. Thanks

I’ve downloaded qTranslate X and it seems to work, however, unlike Loco Translate I have no idea how to edit the different fields, such as state, country etc.. Would you be able to walk me through this or use the Admin details that i provided earlier and manually change it for me please?

Hey i read the instructions on the qTranslate and i still didn’t find anything that helped. I’m stomped. If you have any way to assist me with this please advise. I spent the last few hours trying to work with it, and the only thing that i’m getting is a full translation with the search fields ( state, country, etc..) if you know of anyone that was successful in changing these fields please let me know if they used anything else other than the loco translate or qtranslate… I bet it’s probably something really simple but I’m just not getting it. Awaiting your further.

Okay that’s one solution. But I was hoping it could be done directly and automatically when the user uploads a photo. Does this give the user the option to crop or does it have to be done after? Cheers
Sorry, integrating a full image editing option within the browser on user upload would be a huge undertaking and cause A LOT of unnecessary code and possible site slowness among other issues. Thats not something I would be interested in doing.Hope you understand.
Hey There are three things I’d like to do and haven’t quite figured out how, everything is running smoothly but I need a little bit of customization.
1) First of all I’d like to remove state, community and postcode from the front end submissions page as they are irrelevant in my country.
2) I would also like to restrict the cities people can choose to a deposited list of all the cities in the country (there are less than 50)
3) finally I would like to make it that all properties submitted will show no agent information whatsoever and only the admin can see this information (the idea is the site belongs to an agency and anyone can submit properties, however to inquire about the property one must go through the agency who owns the website)

- You simply go into a listing find the “Status” taxonomy and tag it with Featured Screenshot and it’ll be pulled into the homepage, also see http://contempothemes.com/wp-real-estate-7/documentation/#taxonomies
- The “Featured” section of the homepage is made just for that purpose, it’ll display whatever has been tagged as Featured newest to oldest. However you can also use one of the Page Builder sections to have a “Latest Listings” section, by using Visual Composer > CT Listings module take a look at http://contempothemes.com/wp-real-estate-7/documentation/#homepage

An update: Now, you see the voice status, but the list “Choose from the most used Statuses” is empty! Instead the “Listing” menu on the left I put three items: Highlights, For rent, for sale. WHY?
You just deactivate the WP Favorite Posts plugin and you’ll be all set. Statuses will only show if they’re attached to a published listing. Thanks for your purchase!

As I said, I translated everything with poedit and qtranslate-x, but can not find the string “Property Features.” It does not exist in the .po file of the theme. Where the string?
Make sure you also translate the lang file within the Contempo Real Estate Custom Posts plugin as well.
