I’m having a small last issue with ssl integration on the checkout page, I’m having this error : ”’https://captainshirt.fr/encaissement/' was loaded over HTTPS, but requested an insecure stylesheet ‘http://captainshirt.fr/?custom-skin'. This request has been blocked; the content must be served over HTTPS.” how can I fix this?

ok,but have another problem with the update of Layer Slider (Requires Update for the version 5.6.2 to 5.6.3 but i can’t do it because say i have the last version ,when thes the version i have is 5.6.2

If you can’t update LayerSlider, go to Plugins > Installed Plugins and – delete LayerSlider plugin then install it from Install Plugins page again. Your current sliders will not be deleted

On the home page, at the bottom, there are social media Icons to connect with you business, but Instagram is not one of them… I just purchased the theme and want to know if there is a way to add it…? Thanks!

Dear Author,
I am very interested in buying this theme for my T-shirt printing ecommerce business. I would like to know one important thing before the purhase. I tried the theme and what i discovered is that there is no option for choosing the size of the apparel that one ads to the cart. There is choice of colour and number of pieces. Where/how does one select the size be it xl, xxl, large etc. I would be greatful if you could clarify this at the earliest.

You are using an old version of our theme 2.6 and the latest version for the moment is 2.9, please update theme first.
The easiest way to update our themes is if you use Envato Toolkit. On this link How to update Themes and Plugins
you can learn this easy step-by-step procedure
If Envato Toolkit doesn’t works, then go to Appearance > Install Plugins and click install/activate Envato Market.
Important: Please don’t forget to go to Appearance > Install Plugins to update all your premium plugins to the latest version that we support.

I updated the theme and it totally messed up both the design and some of the plugins on the site, my web developer has created a child theme so Im not sure why this is happening. I have reset it to the way it was before I updated and now the problems with marginals and images is back. Im losing sales over this, its stressing me out. I think I have to reinstall the theme and do this properly, is it possible to buy customization services from you or can you refer me somewhere? Thanks!

There might be an issue in the child theme which break the layout of your site.
Have you tried activating Aurum parent theme and see if the layout is fixed?
I hope the person who modified child theme for you, has not modified Aurum parent theme files, because that makes so much troubles when it comes to updating.
However, if you cannot manage, just send me your FTP credentials on email and I will handle your issue and see if I can fix it for you.

I’m contacting you because I’m having trouble with my logo in the header. It appears to be fuzzy or blurry on pc’s and mobile. The logo is 200×50… I have the min widths set in the settings. I was hoping you could help? The logo came straight out of Illustrator CS6 as a png.

P.S: I saw that you are using our latest theme version but you have very old plugins installed, those plugins doesn’t update automatically through the theme updates so you need to manually update them. To do so please go to Appearance > Install Plugins and update the premium plugins provided by us, such as Visual Composer and Layer Slider to the latest version.

Are you talking for Mobile or with the retina display @2x? What if I want to use a bigger logo? Is there a limit on the width I can use when setting the width in theme options? And yes thank you I will update those plugins.

I’m talking for retina @2x.
You can use bigger logo if you want, for example you can have your logo 400×10 and then just set the maximum width size to 200 on Theme Options and your logo will be double the size that is now.

Hi, I’ve got a couple of questions about my page (www.musthaveparty.nl):
- At the homepage I have a carousel with some items I sell and you can see the price and a +. Can I change this like the carousel at ‘The Bookstore’? I want to see the title of the item and if you move over with the mouse you can see te price in a grey rectangle.
- At the footer from ‘The Bookstore’ you can see links to other pages. How can I do this?
- There is an update for Aurum, but I already had a few problems with the translation. Do you have tips so I don’t have to translate the text again.
- Where is the wishlist option?
- Is the theme good with SEO/Google, or can I also activate the plugin Yoast SEO?

1. I am not sure about how would you want to change this, can you please specify with a screenshot so I can create a better idea what exactly do you want to achieve?
2. To create the same links go Theme Options > Footer and set these settings:
Then go to Widgets and set the link menus:
3. Always save a backup before the update, especially aurum/languages/ folder files that have .po and .mo exension except aurum.pot that file should not be backed up, all other files in that folder must be saved.
4. Wishlist will be activated when you install YITH Wishlist plugin.
5. Theme is well organized and code is fully compatible for SEO, however Yoast will improve it by adding extra information so your site will get higher ranking in Google.

We have included another “theme updater” plugin released by Envato, please go to Appearance > Install Plugins and install/activate Envato Market plugin:
That will allow you to easily update the theme, and its newer version compared to Envato Toolkit plugin.

i edit aurum.pot file and create a .mo and .po files with poedit app. But it doesn’t change anything on website. I don’t want to use any plug-in to do it. Because theme is using many plugins.
Does this .mo and .po files is compatible with this theme or is it work?

Of course it is compatible, as you may have seen the theme is multi-lingual, even though you don’t want to use plugins I would recommend using the Loco Translate which is a lightweight plugin.

Loca Translate plugin is creating .po and .mo files it is ok there is no problem. But i really wonder, if i create .mo and .po manually with poedit or someone else software why it doesn’t work.

Hi gentlemen, it’s been a while and I hope you’re all doing well!
If you recall, my site’s ( architecturalwatercolors.com) shop uses a categories landing page, and some time ago you had kindly provided me with some custom css coding which removed the default black text blocks beneath the category image thumbnails and changed the lowercase white/drop-out text to uppercase text (h3) and the text color from white to the theme’s accent color (in my case, red) .
However, with the latest update, this custom css no longer works, and I’d like to know what needs to be done to make it work again.
This is the custom css text you gave me at the time:

It looks like i cannot upgrade the layer slide plugin after i have upgraded from 2.8 to 2.9 and after i have updated the other plugins that come bundled with the theme. I am always given the message to update and after successfully updating the same message comes up. Note that after 2.9 upgrade I have a new Envato plugin installed which is correctly configured with a new token. I cannot be sure which specific permission is reuired for the token generation though.
