Thank you for reaching us. The Tribe Events plugin has its own translations. You can look for its translations in wp-content/languages/plugins folder. You should use poeditor to translate the .po file and then generate the .mo file and upload it to the same languages folder.

I have solution for both your requests. The first one is a bug and I have it fixed and the second one is a “custom” request and it should be done via custom code added to your child theme’s functions.php

I figured out the Ministries/Apostolates issue. My admin doesn’t want to share FTP information unfortunately. I’m pretty proficient with adapting WordPress (not so good at creating!), so if you could just post the code for the fix, I can make the changes myself.

I assumed you wouldn’t be interested in code, my sincere apologies, I wasn’t aware of your WP skills. You are right about the file name ( bravo! ). I’d like to point out a few things :
1. In the file we have missed to add an echo which we have fixed and will be updating in the theme in our next release. However if you’d like to edit the file, make a copy of the file in your child theme by following the same structure i.e. /bethlehem-child/templates/sections/sermons-carousel-1.php This is the correct way to modify the parent theme and preserves your changes being overridden during updates.
2. To change the name from Ministries to Apostolates, you need to use this filter
ministries_post_type_labels. You’ll have to overwrite the labels using this filter in your child theme’s functions.php

On the home page I will like to display 1 category: “worships” (this category I added to the tab Sermons on dashboard. on this row, we need 2 columns with 3 worships on each side (sorted by date). Please see image:

How do I create and manage events? for some reason I cannot do that? and also maybe a suggestion would be that the footer logo be separate logo option than the one on header… ex. header logo is black but then you want your footer bg color to be black you dont see the logo, I had to go and edit the PHP files to make it work and thats not really fun to have to do that.

Thank you for purchasing our theme and for reaching us. Events are managed using Tribe Events Calendar plugin which needs to be activated from Plugins page is admin dashboard. Alternatively you can also download and install the plugin available in WP repository : https://wordpress.org/plugins/the-events-calendar/
If you had activated and do not find “Events”, please de-activate and activate the plugin. We have some of our customers complaining about similar problem and it was resolved on simply de-activating and activating the plugin.
I appreciate your suggestion. Will add a theme option to upload footer logo in our next update.

Thank you for the response… Indeed I de-activated and re-activated all works. This is great. As for the footer logo it wasn’t too complex just time consuming to do…. duplicating the function and renaming the appropriate names and then going to the footer file and adjusting for the corresponding naming. then uploading a seperate SVG version of the logo and tie it to the template that its associated with in the footer file.

We better our theme by listening to feedback from our customers and I think there is a understandable time delay in case we need to have a different footer logo. We will simplify the process in our next update. Please do not hesitate to let us know if you have any other feedback.
Regarding SVG, unfortunately WP does not allow uploading SVG yet, hence it has to be done via code even if we enable option to upload footer logo separately.
I love the look of this theme and am considering purchasing it for a project. My only question is does this theme come with a gallery? I haven’t seen anything about a gallery in any of the documentation or in the demo theme itself. Thank you!

How can I center the logo at the top of header 7? Also, how can I make changes to the css in the child theme? For some reason, they aren’t overwriting the parent theme. I’m modifying style.min. Thanks!

Hi. I can still see the media and calendar links on any screens smaller than about 500px. We don’t use the media or calendar pages, so we don’t want people to be able to see these links. Is there another way I can remove them? Thanks!

How do you change the height of the slider? I’ve tried adjusting the grid size and using css, but nothing works. The image is the right height, and the rest is filled in with the background color of the slider.

If you click on “Slider Settings” in section “4.Slider Layout”, you should be able to specify the height and width of the slider.
