Hello, this theme is amazing, but I have a situation I could not solve. On my site some users will upload the video and an editor will have to see one by one for approval before publication.
Problems that I found for my case:
Is it really necessary to send the thumbnail image as publishing the video thumbnail will be generated automatically? I would like to disable the sending miniature field and work?
By sending the video editor does not like watching the post draft, there can be a player to view the video before posting it?

The thumbnail image is required for Video File and Iframe/embed code.
The auto thumbnail feature could work for these sites only, so the User need to upload the image if they upload the video file or the iframe code that isn’t supported.
Currently the Editor could view the preview player at Frontend only.

Hello. I like your theme. I see short tutorial video in Youtube. Before deciding whether to buy theme i have few questions. 1. Do you have any detailed video and if you have, where can i see him? 2. I can only change HomePage or i can change the look of the other pages [for example: I want to change the vision of page where there are Posts (example from your demo: This page ” http://videotube.marstheme.com/blog/ ” I want to look like this page ” http://videotube.marstheme.com/categories/trailers/ “)] ? 3. The theme was designed as you see the live demo, the main homepage was built by Widget, another pages under “Home” dropdown were built by WPbakery, if you want to modify the layout, then you would need to find a freelancer who could help you out with that, so please check the theme carefully before purchase

Hey, I’ve nearly finished creating my site using your theme, and I am loving it so far! The only problem I have ran in to is having featured images on blog pages cropped… can you fix this / bug?
Sidebar below the video it is displaying ok (http://bit.ly/1ROv83k) Then it is cropped as a featured image? I have tried removing the quiz shortcode on the page, and other plugins (http://bit.ly/1MS9pQo)

The image should be cropped in defined size, imagine if you upload an 3000*2000px image size without cropping, this making your site slow.
However, if you wish to pull the full size, you can paste this code into the end of videotube/functions.php or videotube-child/functions.php if child theme is activated ==> http://pastebin.com/gkhwBjGh
This will pull the full size of image.

I am having 2 issues.
1) I installed Disqus about a week ago and when I clicked “comments” on the page it would take me straight away to the Disqus section on the page. However, when I tried it today, it did not respond. All I see is “Javascript:Void(0)” on lower left side of my browser. I tried to reinstall Disqus plugin but, when I clicked “comments’ it still did not move.
2) I would like to make it so in the description section there is a “show more option”. The description takes a lot of space, and I think the page would look cleaner if I could minimize it and just have a “show more” option. Is there anyway I can do that?

I just checked the backend, you didn’t import the demo widgets so nothing to show there.
You can use Widget Importer & Exporter plugin to import the example Widgets.
Note: the Main homepage built by Widgets, not page builder.

Unfortunately the FILE field (upload form) may not work fine on some mobile devices because it can’t work, depends on the mobile browser/API … etc or something else that I’m not sure, Mobile isn’t my skills so actually I’m not sure what/where exactly is the problem here, but surely the problem is belong to the Mobile device, they do not support the File field.

Hello, I have seen several websites using the Disqus commenting platform on your VideoTube theme and there’s a bug I keep seeing. When you open a video, if they are using Disqus, when clicking “Comments” below the video, it won’t scroll down to the comment section. Is there a fix for this?

I just realised that some of my youtube videos displays only the video link. When I checked the video on youtube, i found out that ” Embedding disabled by request ” .... but the link can be shared. How do I solve this?

This mean the video can’t be embed, the problem is video author do not allow we to embed his/their videos, here is more info about this.

Unfortunately nothing we can do at our side, You have to ask video author for that.
Regarding the Video column, I found this plugin, haven’t tried but it looks promise, try it and let me know if no luck, then I will share the tip for that.
