Easy fix, its just a problem with htaccess and permalinks go into Settings > Permalinks > Save Changes and you should be good to go. If not please see this KB article https://contempo.ticksy.com/article/5977/

Please open a ticket on the support site and post the # here and I’ll pass it onto Hina, sounds like either your browser is cached or your caching plugin isn’t actually releasing I’d recommend disabling it and testing first. Its never a good idea to have it enabled during the development phase anyways.

Some pages are built using Visual Composer like the homepage versions, neighborhood, etc…the only custom module thats been added to Visual Composer is the CT Listings module. The plugin is completely optional as well, thanks for your purchase!

First you can use any booking calendar plugin you’d like, my demo is using the free version of the Booking Calendar plugin you can review all the features https://wordpress.org/plugins/booking/, they also have premium versions with even more features if you require that. There’s a lot of great options out I’d also recommend WooCommerce Bookings https://www.woothemes.com/products/woocommerce-bookings/

Updated to the new theme 2.0.0 and I’m now all set!! Thanks a million Chris for listening to the voices of those who supported your theme and purchased it, this is what will separate you. In my short time owning this theme I’ve watched about ten updates go out and I’ve only had this for about a week or so, this bring me hope in receiving further updates that will make this even easier to use and navigate through. Again THANK YOU!

I don’t know how much work it took for you to add the drop-down box from State to Area and correct the bug fix in the home screen Advance Search, if you can possibly add a few more selections to different fields I think this would assist greatly. For example, you have the State to Area drop-down box, I was thinking you can also add under City > Island .... and you can add under Community > Region in the advance search menu ( the same way you did it with State to Area).

The majority of the other ideas and suggestions I had you’ve already implemented in your previous updates. You can play around with the drop-down menu names ( Island, Region etc…) it’s just that I’m in the Bahamas and I know what works for over here not sure how it is in places like the UK and Canada. I truly look forward to your further updates and encourage you please keep up the GREAT WORK!

Not true at all, the homepage has elements that are pre-built like slider, advanced search, testimonials, featured listings, etc…as well as 4 page builder modules to use which all you do is create a page build it out however you’d like with Visual Composer and then go back to the options and select that page to be pulled into the homepage, the possibilities are endless.

No coding knowledge required whatsoever.

I’m a typical male and guess before I revert to the instructions, but missed this bit out. The only thing I would say, for an update would be that it would be far neater and easier if these were just visual composer elements, but appreciate it is possible to edit the page. Thank you.

LOL, totally understand. The reasoning behind not having everything on the homepage as Visual Composer elements is I don’t believe the theme should rely on a third party plugin to function properly it should operate with its said features without and if you require more customizability you can add Visual Composer as an option.

A lot of the multi-purpose themes out there today would be a ton of un-rendered shortcodes with no functionality if you were to deactivate Visual Composer or their own proprietary page builders, which IMO is just bad development practice. Anyways that’s my reasoning behind the way I develop themes, simply build in key features and add additional optional features with plugins like Visual Composer or the Booking Plugin, etc…to avoid bloat and dependency on third parties.

Its possible by, creating a child theme, editing includes > advanced-search.php adding your new fields, then modifying search-listings.php either by adding the taxonomies to the array at the top of the file or if they’re custom fields by copy/pasting one of the existing meta_query() and editing for your new field names.

You’ll also need to add these in the admin easiest way to do that is to use the Advanced Custom Fields plugin. Now all of this does require intermediate PHP knowledge just as a heads up.
