You don’t need any other plugin. This theme includes right-side menu with ”+” icon that will show up when you turn on Sliding Bar option in Theme Options -> Navigation.

Also, you can add your widgets to this sliding bar menu in Appearance -> Widgets. Drag and drop any widgets at the left hand side to the Sliding Bar sidebar at the right hand side.

I’m not sure, the issue that I’m experiencing on your site is the same as yours. When I hover on somewhere on menu area, some menu items will disappear. This issue is happened since you’ve added the custom in sccss. Try removing them to see if it works.

The category filter at the top of portfolio grid will filter on only items that are loaded in the grid. It will not load any other items from your database. It’s not a bug but it’s on purpose as you can see on other themes in the market.

1. Unfortunately, this issue has been fixed in Flora 1.2.4 but I see you have 1.2.3 on your site. Please update the theme to fix this issue. Also, once you update the theme, please use the re-generate thumbnails plugin to update your images sizes.

5. The flora child theme is included in the main download package. Extract the main download package, you will see flora-child-theme.zip in folder “WordPress Theme”. Install and activate this file, then go to Appearance -> Editor to edit Flora Child theme. Select Theme Functions (functions.php), then add the code that we just provided in previous comment to this file.

This theme disable all hover effects while scrolling that will improve the page performance. If your browser displays any hover effects when you scroll, your browser does not work smoothly.

However, you can remove the code below from the file css/flora.cs if you’d like to enable hover effects when scrolling:

Also, this theme comes with Smooth Scroll feature, you can turn off it in Theme Options -> General if you would not like it.

Absolutely, this theme includes custom templates for Visual Composer Row/Column and other elements. There are many options have been added and some options have been removed to suit and to meet the theme concept and design. We also remove some filters and some CSS class names since they were no longer needed for this theme and this will improve your site performance.

When you use VC with some themes without VC optimization (such as twenty sixteen), you will see there are many CSS class names, too many DIV tags and too much JS script and CSS code in HTML output. This will increase your page size and can slow down the page download speed. So we have removed all default CSS styles and all JS scripts from VC elements and use our own ones instead.

Regarding the Massive Addons plugin, we’ve never tested this plugin with the theme and it is not included in the plugin support list so we couldn’t answer why it doesn’t work with this theme.

Please use the existing elements and features from the theme that’s enough to create a website such as our demo sites.

Also, please let us know what are necessary features and elements in this plugin you would like to use. These might be in this theme or you can adapt something to use instead.

Sounds like this is a bug with the CSS animation on a new update of Chrome. The custom heading won’t show up if you set an animation to it. This issue has been fixed in the latest update of theme (1.2.5), you can update the theme to fix it.

3. Absolutely, the flora masonry layout is a preset layout. Your images will automatically fill to fit within the preset layout (normal size, 2x of width, 2x of height and 2x of width and height).

You can customize the preset layout by editing the file functions.php in your child theme. You can add the code below to this file and change the order of each item:

1. If you’re using child theme, you can add the whole code that we just provided to style.css in your child theme. However, if you’d like to add it to Theme Options -> Advanced -> Head Content, you should add style tags to the code too, see the sample code below:

6. You can add a custom font by using CSS. Install and activate flora-child-theme.zip that’s included in the main download package. Once you activate the child theme, navigate to Appearance -> Editor to edit Flora Child theme, add custom CSS into style.css to import your custom font and use it to style any elements such as body and h1, see more on how to import and use the custom font -> https://css-tricks.com/snippets/css/using-font-face/

However, this will not add your font to Typography option in Theme Options and your font will not show up on the font list when you choose the font in the theme. You will need to mange your custom font and use it via CSS.

However, you can add it now by using Text Block element, this element allows you to add an image to text area and you can also add a link to your image.

Yeah I know, but then the nice effect of your “single image” is gone. It does not fit right in the box anymore… I even already tried to take the “original” html which is given out by the single image in html code and added this via raw html… but that didn´t work

However, when you’re using Image Gallery element, you can choose the size of images to display in the gallery, choose Original size so it will display the full image without cropping and re-sizing.

Regarding the Visual Composer, this theme includes the full version of Visual Composer, we’ve never modified this plugin directly but we disable some elements such as the Grid Builder since we already have over 20 custom elements, some of them can be used instead of Grid Builder e.g. Image Gallery, Blog Posts, Portfolio Grid, etc. These elements have grid and masonry layout that are easier and ready to use for each post type. You can use them instead and don’t need Grid Builder anymore.

Also, you can normally use this plugin in this theme without registering a purchase code, some elements of this plugin have been disabled since they’re not available in the theme features so please use existing elements for creating your site based on the theme features.

Hey thanks. Yeah sorry I think I changed the name of that page after my question. I understand all of that but all of the masonry grid’s I tried I did have set on Original size. Please check this one instead: http://test.junghansimages.com/portfolio/ again the 2 bride photos are full vertical.

I did notice today that when you set it to a standard grid it does give full verticals but it appears like you would have to figure out the order to make the pattern fit together because if I just select a random group of test images it leaves all kinds of odd gaps instead of making them fit together like a masonry should…so that’s not going to work either. http://test.junghansimages.com/weddings/

Unfortunately, the masonry layout in this theme is a fixed layout that has specific pattern as you can see when you choose the flora masonry for Images Gallery, it will display your images as the flora masonry layout of portfolio grid -> http://wydethemes.com/flora1/flora-masonry-full-width/

You should set the order of your images so they will fit properly in the layout. The Images Gallery element allows you to drag and drop the image to easily change the order of each item. Vertical images should be in the 1st, 7th, 9th, 10th and 11th.

We just visited your site on Safari (on iMac, Macbook and iPhone), all of them are working fine, we couldn’t see any strange white space as you mentioned.

However, some of your images on blog posts are too large, we’re not sure why it displays these images in full size, it should display the thumbnails instead.

Follow the steps below to fix this issue:

1. Update your theme to the latest update, see more on updating the theme in our documentation.

2. Install the Regenerate Thumbnails plugin -> https://wordpress.org/plugins/regenerate-thumbnails/

3. Once you install and activate this plugin, go to Tools -> Regen. Thumbnails, then click on Generate All Thumbnails button.

Please note, this will not affect all background images (i.e. title area background, row background, slider background, etc.), all background images will always appear in full size so you should resize your image before uploading it as background image.
