I’m considering to buy your theme but I don’t feel the blog post lay-out (http://www.pirenko-themes.com/pulse/2014/08/02/the-vintage-way/) is gonna suit for my client. Is it possible to reduce the height of the featured image? I’d like it to cover a third of the screen instead of everything.
Also a question about the design. I feel like I mis a lot of design templates. Like accordion, tabs, typography etc. Are there examples?

On the single post you have 2 types of headers: the featured header (which is the example you sent) and the regular header (here’s an example: http://www.pirenko-themes.com/pulse/2014/07/19/average-guy/ ).
On the default header the image is scaled so the height depends on the image relative proportions (you also have the option to limit the width so the image can be smaller anyway).

I recently purchased the PULSE theme and tried to upload the ‘Business – One Page’ demo. I believe I’ve loaded it, but it looks different from the current demo. There is a ‘Why Us’ menu instead of the ‘Team’ menu. and there’s a corresponding ‘Why Us’ section instead of the team section. Also, the header background is black instead of a white transparency. How do i install the current ‘Business One Page Demo’? Was it not in the files I downloaded?

That warning is related with a plugin located in the folder addons-for-visual-composer. Updating to the latest version of Visual Composer may not solve that issue. We will be updating Visual Composer on the next theme update, but if you need this theme beta release before please send us a private message.

Hello Pirenko, somehow I’m missing a license for “WPBakery Visual Composer” it say’s I need to buy one. Isn’t the “WPBakery Visual Composer” included in de price? I just read the comments, you do not need / must update this plugin. The version is 4.9.2. at this moment.
Also after generating some One-Click install sample pages it doesn’t look OK. Regards Onedutch

About updating Visual Composer: you bought the theme and you only have the license for it (not for Visual Composer). So, it is the theme that will eventually provide updates to it. Disregard that update message if it appears again.
About the second question: please check your permalink settings and .htaccess file. It seems that you have some erratic permalink system. Hi Pirenko, thank you for the great support to get the website going. Is it possible to have the Slides (used on the main page) being to move (left / right) with the arrows on the Keyboard? Up key and Down key let me scroll the main page. Also I noticed that Dragging the Slide Photo with the mouse works (left and right). Unfortunelately swiping with a finger on an android smartphone or swiping with a finger on an iPad left and right, it doesn’t slide me to the next photo. Swiping up and down does work, srolls the main page. Keep up the good work, Ciau Onedutch

MP4 files don’t render properly on mobile devices and that is why the theme has image fallbacks. If you want to play videos on mobile you should stream them from Youtube, Vimeo, etc…

WPBakery Visual Composer is asking me to update the plugin, but I understand you have your own customized updates for the Visual Composer plugin within the theme. Is that correct and if so, how can I update this plugin correctly without breaking the theme?

Hello- At your request, I am posting my issue here on the official support area. Per your email to me below, the Pulse theme does not work with the current revolution slider plugin anymore due to updated to the theme updates. I was wondering if you heard back from revolution to see if the slider works with your theme now?

I am using another slider plugin that is not as robust called HUGEIT http://huge-it.com/slider/ that I had to pay for to get the slider on my front page to work with the Pulse theme. Thanks Angie

The problem is not due to theme updates. The problem is due to the latest version of Revolution Slider (that is what we wrote). We also advised you to use an older version for now so feel free to do it if you want.

OK. I thought you were going to check on the issue with Revolution, but I will just continue to use the HUGEIT license I bought.
