Hello, I have a problem when I try to use the forum in mobile version. Smartphone, ipad or computer (for a test). When I click in the text field the cursor does not appear. How can I fix the problem? It also happens with a local installed test site.

Since you mentioned you have already update Wellspring to the latest version (1.1.1), and Visual Composer (4.11.2.1), try updating WordPress as well, and disabling third party plugins you use.

It’s the theme folder on your server, where the theme files stand. You can either connect to it through the cPanel of your host, or using FTP client like FilleZilla for example.

Latest Wellspring update (1.1) includes Visual Composer 4.11.1
So you first need to update your theme to the latest version, and then you can update VC plugin following next instructions:
1. Please make sure main theme is activated while performing other steps, not child theme!
2. In your WP admin -> Plugins, locate Visual Composer in the list, deactivate it and delete it
3. You will see message that required plugin is missing at the top of your WordPress Dashboard

Hi, Wellspring theme is functional, but unfortunately there are so many bugs and errors. May be it is version 1.0, so it needs future development.
Especially, I don’t understand why your Mikado Options is unnecessarily wide? I can’t find what I am looking for, but there are other unimportant details.
Main problem is that your Demo Import doesn’t work properly. I have deleted and installed the theme many times, but most of the features don’t work. I am adding some screenshots from the theme:

I updated it, and now visual composer is broken. Can’t edit existing pages, or use it for new pages as well. I don’t see a license code for activating it as well. Where can I find it?

Ive having difficulty in uploading the theme to the latest version of wordpress. It fails and tells me; Are you sure you want to do this? with only the option to ‘Please try again’. I’ve re-downloaded, logged in and out, still having the issue.
Managed to get round this by uploading through FTP.
It’s telling me I need to purchase Slider Revolution & WPBakery Visual Composer, although these are included in the theme. I’ve opened up the .txt files that come in the zip, but it doens’t include the Item Purchase Code.

We bought extended license for these included plugins (Visual Composer and Rev Slider), and we can’t give you license code because of polity and terms of Theme Forest, because of that we included these plugins in our theme. You can use them as soon as you installed/activated them after theme installation. You can ignore messages about activation these plugins, you have/get inside Plugin settings.

For now, you could use Portfolio custom post type, to create your recipes, or even blog posts, just to assign them into one category – recipes for example, so you could use them individually from all other posts/portfolios.

Hi I’m considering this comment for a project at the moment but the demo seems very clunky and slow. I’m in the UK on a 80mb line so unless it’s on a slow distant server, i’ve got concerns. Is there any possibilities of trying it another way?

We haven’t optimized our demo site – because main point was put on showing all the features theme offers, so it quite big content wise, and the photos aren’t optimized because we wanted to show them in highest res.
You would of course optimize your site better, and our support team tests websites of all users on request, and provide some individual tips for improving the performance, so the optimal results are achieved.

All your custom css should be written in WP admin -> Mikado Options -> General -> Custom CSS field.
It will remain saved upon theme update if written there, so nothing to worry.

When I placed the CSS in that field it didn’t update. I downloaded a Custom CSS plugin and have since been able to see the changes.
