You have to update to 1.6.5 as well as update all the bundled plugin. Also, if you have any customisation in your child theme – pls, review it and update your child theme. Names of some functions were changed and it is important to update their names in your child theme.

Make it by yourself or send me ftp access and I’ll help you to update your child theme. But update the parent theme and all bundled plugins first!

No, no. If you want to have a separate page as Blog, just create a new page, choose ‘Blog page’ template page and that’s it. You don’t need to go to general settings and set any page as blog page. Pls, use it only to set a home page.

I continue support and update the theme. However, I cannot predict the date when I release the next theme update after the WP update. So, actually, it is no the question of ‘update or not?’ it is the question ‘when to update?’ and ‘what is added to the update?’. If you don’t wish to buy an additional support in October and as the result you will not be able to ask me these questions, I will recommend to follow the changes in changelog (it is on item’s page as well as included in item’s archive), so you will always know what added and what is not.

Actually, you cannot do this without editting the related template. Make a copy of templ-contact.php to your child theme and edit it. You have to know how to deal with html/php, it is for advanced users only.
