I set featured image to “off” it either does not work or it does something else.
What i really want is to bypass the initial screen where you have to upload an image, audio or video file. But instead go straight to the white overlay popup. In-order to post articles with just text and optionally include images, videos or audio.
As it is, you must upload a media file (image, audio or video) before you can post content. I want it to be optional.
Please your feedback will be much appreciated.

Good day, I’m looking for a template for the website of my local radio station, which is explicitly sports issues.
The purpose is to broadcast via streaming on line and share a live chat for all who enter the web.
Is what we are talking in the cabin, we want to hear it all people to connect and enter our website.
This may be in Joomla or WordPress I have no problem customizing the template, for what I can do.
I wonder if you have a template that fits what you just described.
I have understood that there is way to do this through Youtobe stream, but I do not like the idea of ??having to rely on yotube, so I look for something more personal, no matter if I pay extra for a plug of a third party that can be incorporated into the template that you suggest me.
Nor do we want to have a playlist of music or songs, because our station is not about that, if the playlist brings the default template no problem, I know you can remove or hide, what if I want and much it is able to transmit my radio.
If you have a template so, I would buy it.

I really love this theme. I bought it and have not reviewed it yet because i wanted time to see how support was and to play around with it. So far i love the theme, but the support (so far) has been very slow. In the meantime I have managed to figure out one of my questions from my support ticket, but when you upload an image from your mobile device (i have a galaxy 6), it flips the image horizontally so its sideways. Only fix is to flip my phone and take the pic, but most people would not think about that nor want to. Can you please fix this bug or let me know how I can fix it? Thanks!

In reference to the ticket, i figured out the header issue so you can ignore that part. But please answer the other question about images appearing sideways. Also, i notice if you do not mark the image featured, then it appears on the front page with no picture, which doesnt look good. Is there a way to make the uploaded image automatically featured if the user does not make it featured? Site would look strange with a bunch of posts without images and it is not obvious to the user that they have to make the image featured to show it on the front page. It took me awhile to figure it out even. Thank you.

I’m trying to make a website where users can log in and post articles.
So I understand the following:
1. Login through Facebook cannot be done right now. But will be available soon.
2. If I want to limit the uploads to only articles, I can do that as well.
My Issues are the following:
1. How do I get users to write an article from the home page?
2. How do I remove the two buttons on the home page that say ‘video’ and ‘audio’ to filter only video and audio posts.
3. Can I remove the upload button, and replace it with a publish article button so that the user can be directed to the text editor instead?

Following are the answers of your questions
1. You can limit the uploads from Theme Options / Uploader Settings; this option will also remove the video and audio filter from filtration bar.
2. There are 2 options
a. Slider Uploading option ( for this option you have to use uploader as your home page slider )
b. You can use the header button.
3. Yes, you can use any translation plugin and translation, the upload string to publish article.
I just downloaded and am pleased so far. One question though. Is there a way to make it automatically use the image you posted as the featured image? Otherwise, it shows up as just a blank post on the main page without a picture..?

No, but uploader theme is coded based on WordPress latest standards and one can easily extended with little modification.

Yes, if you select only one post type e.g. Articles in theme options then this option will be automatically selected.

There are many many websites built on uploader theme but unfortunately we are not authorized to share our clients website’s links. There are few clients who shared their links in comments so you can browse and see the links.

Hi I’d like to purchase this, my requirements are that users can log in via facebook, or twitter, and post articles and images only. I don’t want them to upload videos or audio.
I like your theme a lot, it’s unclear how a person can post an article, and if you can disable certain types of media.
An article would be text based, since it would be writers submitting their work.

The home page still has the ‘video’, ‘audio’ buttons, where can I remove that from?
