Any idea why all images are uploaded to “2015/08” directory? It is caused by “WPBakery Visual Composer” plugin. If the plugin is deactivated, then images are uploaded according to current date, i.e., year/month.. etc.
That’s on PHP7.0.2 by the way.
When VC is active, then get_post(0) returns WP_Post object for ID 0 but post with ID 0 doesn’t exist in the DB. The post_date field of that object is set to “2015-08-14 12:30:20” and that is why images are saved in the wrong directory.
This behavior can be exhibited inside WP function “media_handle_upload”, see the following lines:
if ( $post = get_post($post_id) ) { if ( substr( $post->post_date, 0, 4 ) > 0 ) $time = $post->post_date; }
It looks like VC is hijacking the post_id==0 and returns some object.
demo/content.xml contains only single post with post_date equal to “2015-08-14 12:30:20” and its post_id is 49.
Btw, I’m uploading images not attached to any post and I’m using the WP standard upload-form at “wp-admin/media-new.php”. But it’s the same thing if I upload images via bakery-settings page.
I believe it is unrelated but there is also the following error with the VC grid builder:
Undefined index: vc_button2 in js_composer/include/classes/core/class-wpb-map.php on line 361
As I recall and if I recall correctly, version 1.3.2 had no uploading issues. The problem appeared since the upgrade to version 1.3.4.
Update: You need to test it because I’m not sure that it is caused entirely by VC. It appears that there is some connection with the custom post type plugin also.”

1. On the header image, there are two border-top lines and two border-bottom lines. How do I change the colour of the EXTREME TOP line and the EXTREME BOTTOM line? (NOT the lines on the image)

Importing demo content is the easiest way to setup your theme. It will allow you to quickly edit everything instead of creating content from scratch. When you import the data please be aware of the followings:
Posts, pages, images, widgets and menus will be imported.
Imported images are copyrighted and are use for demo purporse only.
Import process will take couple of minutes.Before you begin, make sure all the required plugins are activated.
If you want to install Demo Shop, please make sure to install WooCommerce before you run import AND skip the Setup Wizard.

Hi, Great theme! It says that there is an update for visual composer and that it is available through code canyon. When I use the link on the plugin in my dashboard, it says Buy Visual Composer. Is it not included with the theme? If so, where do I get the update from? bcoz visual composer not working now

Visual Composer update option is available only for users who have directly purchased it. We regularly take care and update the theme when new plugin versions are released.
That said, you can update Visual Composer by downloading the latest theme version (v1.3.4) which comes along with the latest Visual Composer version. Or you can choose to simply ignore that update notification.
