Dear Author, Recently my Media Grid pictures won’t show up on my website at all. I haven’t done any changes to my website before this happened. The product pictures in each portfolio was about 5 pcs, the show up way is by pagination. I doubt if it were caused by the Media Grid system problem. Have changed many pagination ways, but the pictures won’t show up unless it is under edit mode. I can not see the product pictures on my website when it is under uneditable mode. Can you kindly tell me how to solve this problem? I have been sufered this problem for almost two weeks. There are many portfolio pictures could not show up.

I cannot edit content. I cannot upgrade my theme. Why do you not offer patches for older verions, especially since you use wp bakery visual composer. It is not like I can buy my own license and fix it the visual composer is integrated into the theme. This is really frustrating since I want to keep wordpress updated and secure but your themes integration of the visual composer breaks over and over again.

Hello, I upgrade to version 4.5 of wordpress, having a some errors obsolete functions, and decided to upload the latest Visual Composer that came in the template package, when I access the Visual Composer displays the message: Hello! Would you like to receive automatic updates and unlock premium support? Please activate your copy of Visual Composer.
and shows a button to validate it, entering says: NO LICENSES FOUND as I can validate it?

You can use all plugins that comes bundled with The7 theme without entering purchase codes or activating them.
However if you want a bit faster plugins updates, some locked features, dedicated support or just want to support their authors – you are more then welcome to purchase dedicated licenses.
Ver 2 has similar problems with VC update. The plugins page does not show an update needed. When I go to appearance-install plugins it shows a needed VC upgrade to 4.11.2 but when I initiate the update it says “An error occurred while installing WPBakery Visual Composer: The update cannot be installed because we will be unable to copy some files” So I then have to go into the file system and manually delete the plugin and reinstall again. I haven’t even got to V3 yet.
Regarding a previous reference to settings:
For Visual Composer:
Go to Theme Options -> General -> Advanced -> enable “Plugins notifications”. Go to Plugins -> The7 plugins and try to update VC again. It should work.
There is no such setting in either v2 or v3. What there is:
Plugins notifications Silence plugins activation notifications
Is that what you mean? Doesn’t seem to help in v2

I’m holding off on updating both v2 and v3 until you get this sorted out.
It IS sorted out. Please contact our support – guys will take a look what prevents you from updating plugins normally. It is confirmed that couple of older version of VC had “issues” that prevented automatic updates. I’m do not know whether it was a bug or intended “feature” by plugin author to “stimulate” his sales.. Anyways, our support will be able to resolve it for you.

You need to have newest version of theme (v.3.6.1) and update the “The7 Demo Content” plugin via Plugins > The7 Plugins.
Hi there, I have manually updated the theme, and the plugins. Everything has been updated with no errors, except the visual composer no longer works, it just sticks on an endless loop without loading. Has the VC also been removed from the page build section in wordpress?

Is there a way to set the font/background/hover settings for the menu in the bottom bar or am I just not seeing it? I mean other than custom css.

Theme Options > Footer & Bottom Bar. All fonts can be edited via Theme Options > Fonts.

So I was about to make the update that came out several days ago but see at least 2 comments about VC not working. Can you comment so we know what’s going on?

I have a few question regarding this theme. Does it come with add on themes/demos as per site or is it just the framework that needs to be customised? Also, we would like to use this for microsites running off one platform. Should the microsites only be one-page sites or can you have a link in the navigation that links to another section not on that page? Like products/services etc?

Theme comes with all the content you see on our demo (except images, that are copyrighted).
Regarding microsites. They are intended to be used within your main site to create various landing pages. To achieve the setup that you desire, you will need to install the WordPress in “multisite” mode. This is quite easy and fully supported by The7.

Hi, just a quick one, is there a way to do manual updates on the theme? I guess a manual update would be done by, erasing the old main template folder (not child one) and uploading the new template folder (updated) and of course not touching the child theme, is that so?
