1. Can I have the listings act as products the users can buy? That is what I need the most, so I can have users list their services and I’ll collect a commission on each purchase.
2. The frontend is amazing for users, very simple. Can I customize what users need to input or have access to? For instance, the fields they need to supply on their registration?
3. Is there any demo for the admin panel?
4. What about referral codes?
5. Any chance of having a User account $$ balance, so I can use referral codes to give users credit?
6. Is there any feature so I can set users as “verified”, even if the verification is not built in? For instance, I ask them to verify their ID through any service, and when I get confirmation, I tag their profile as “verified”?
7. Can I have users create listings without buying packages?
8. WooCommerce integration: is this for all WC products, including Bookings? Could I have your front end and listing system working with WC booking, allowing the user to create a listing that will be managed by WC?
9. If any of these features is not present, are you able to develop them as an extra?

1. You can create packages, and users have to buy some of the packages (that you create: http://searchandgo.elated-themes.com/pricing/) in order to have access to post a listing. It is using our custom payment method via PayPal.
2. No option for customizing this. Name of the listing and package are the only required fields for listing submitting.
3. We can provide some screenshots of the admin panel via email.
4. and 5. We haven’t included such feature in our theme undortunately.
6. Unfortunately, no such feature. Everyone that registers (through facebook, google…) becomes user, and gets the owner role, so he can see only his dashboard, not WP admin area. Anyway, you can’t get any damage this way, since every listing must be manually approved from you before it’s published on site.
7. Yes, if you create some free packages.
8. Unfortunately no, it’s not that kind of integration, all related to listing items is custom work, from zero, independently from WooCommerce products.
9. We forward all the suggestions to our dev team, so they can consider them for the future theme updates.

Hi Utpal,
Not by default unfortunately. But you can use Featured List shortcode, that will show only items marked as featured (you can see it on homepage, right under search , called Most Popular Locations), and you can show only featured listings that way, the ones admin set to be featured.
Our search filters work based on parameter you enter from three offered – keywords, location and category. Additionally, on archive pages, when you choose some of the category, you can additionally filter by Amenities

These are background images for the rows of content (Visual Composer’s row elements).

Thanks for the information. This will work. Can just change the image or video easily enough. In future update would be nice to have slider support. I think I could use this to highlight photos of featured advertisers. Just an idea!

1. We haven’t included Events feature by default. We will consider it for the future theme development.
2. Yes, Visual Composer can be activated and used to create the content of your listing items, so the site admin can use it, to create custom content for some listing items. Listing submitters can use only regular tinymce editor with some of the shorcodes we included.
3. Unfortunately, no BuddyPress compatibility or social activity for the moment.

1. Can you please tell us to what profile photo you’re referring to? The site visitors, that leave reviews for example, the photo being displayed is their Gravatar photo. The same is for posts author.
2. Unfortunately, we haven’t tested this plugin. We’ve implemented Open Table compatibility – it’s the online service for table reservations.

It appears that the demo data has made all of the buttons, icons, and text into a light blue colour. And I wish to alter all of them to the colour of my choice.
Is there a way to amend this within Elated Options? If not, I guess it’ll be a long winded process to change all ”#1ab5c1” in the CSS files to another colour.

It’s alright now. After looking through your codes, I found that the “Elated Options : General >> First Main Color” is the one that makes the colour change.

1. It can be enabled, we will add option for it in next theme update, it’s not currently included.
2. These are some default parts. You can activate and use Visual Composer for the content of your listing items, to create whatever more you want to put in listing item single page content.
3. There are no filters by amenities unfortunately.

3. You can use Amenities filters, maybe I wrote it a bit wrong first time. It’s not included in Search fields by default, search goes per keywords, categories and location.
Amenities belong to categories. So, check this page http://searchandgo.elated-themes.com/listing-item/?keywords=&location=&type= as an example, choose one category, and under it, the filters will appear

I have some pre-purchase questions. I’d like to use your theme for a companies’ directory, but I don’t actually need the location/geo info from the Home and All listing page. 1) Is it possible to remove the location and also change the category filter? 2) Can I use only two search fields and not three as the theme shows? 3) Just to confirm, can I change/remove/add more shortcuts/buttons below the search fields? (culture, cuisine, nightlife, lodging, shopping). 4) Once inside a listing item, can I remove google map? (example Eiffel Tower page). 5) Can the google map be removed in a page like Gothic? 6) Does this theme include icons, icon boxes, lists? 7) Is it possible to read/know more about the sign up panel? For instance, can a user sign up a property? Or the login is just for reviews and wish lists? Pls clarify this for me too. 8.) Properties should be created by the page admin?

1) For example, I’d like to have two search fields, one for keyword and one for product/service/industry (hotel, restaurant, pharmacy, hospital etc). Is it possible to personalize the fields? 2)-5) When you tell me “it can be achieved” I guess I can delete myself the map/fields right? 3) Can I add more listing categories? 8.) 1. Unfortunately, there’s no such an option by default. Only solution would be to use this default three fields search, and then maybe hide some fields with custom css.
2.-5. Some things can be achieved from the theme options, while for some you need to write some custom css code, for which our support team can help.
3. Yes, of course.
8. Users upload their listings. For example their restaurant or something. And based on the package they buy, the listing is visible for 7 days only for example, if they go for some free trial package, or permanently if they buy full package.
9. You could write a notification for users to appear on listing submit page, about minimal required images dimensions.

A question – is it possible to use this theme for more profile driven listings ie when vendors register their travels and people can book them to bring something from the country of their travel- essentially a matching functionality so that reviews go to vendors as oppose to places and vendors can post multiple listings?

We didn’t add vendors functionality to this theme. Also, we only have opentable booking for restaurants, other listing types have option to send an enquire to author of the listing. Our theme is more focused toward directory features, but we might consider to add new features in the future.

There is currently no demo login, but you should be able to register to our demo site. I just registered with google+. Did you use social network sing-up or direct one?
We don’t have hotel booking functionality in this theme, we have listings which are highly customizable, so you can define custom attributes for each listing type created, mange what features will be displayed, etc. This is more directory theme, then booking theme.

Just wanted to say great job on this theme! I have only just begun building my site on it but out of the box this is a 5 Star theme. I have purchased several “directory” themes recently and I must say, so far I am really liking the combination of features and ease of use.
After installing demo content I immediately checked Google Pagespeed and recorded a score of 89 before any optimizing. Also, Listing Type is well thought out. No need to create List Type then navigate to another menu area to assign Attributes and Custom Fields. Very convenient and user friendly.

I was thinking of buying another more expensive directory theme but I really like the simplicity of your theme and the fact that I wouldn’t have to purchase a ton of additional plugins.

Our blog already supports sidebars, you can choose between left and right and between 1/3 and 1/4 of content width
