I bought this theme to use as an intranet as well as course system. I was disappointed when reading through the documentation that you’re encouraging people who’ve bought this theme to use “Learn Dash” which is a paid plugin not included with this theme. I would like to use the one included with this theme. I don’t see a “courses” extension available in Unyson. Where can I find a free plugin to use with this theme? There’s no way I’m paying $129/year for a paid solution.

Yes we’re working with Learndash and yes it isn’t free for good reasons. Furthermore, we can’t include it because they don’t sell any extended license (developer license). Actually the Learning plugins market in the Wordpress environment is limited, very limited. There are only a few good plugins and they’re expensive (and learndash is very far from the most expensive one). But, these plugins are really complex and powerful though (certificates, woocommerce integration, frontend edit…).
If you don’t want to get any Learndash license, you can find any free plugin from wordpress.org they should work right out of the box but they won’t have any specific styling from Woffice.
Unyson use to have an extension for that, but as everybody was using Learndash, they’ve stopped working on it and it’s now depreciated. However, if you want to give it a go, it’s still available here : https://github.com/ThemeFuse/Unyson-Learning-Extension (just unzip and drop in you wp-content/plugins/unyson/framework/extensions/ directory).

Yes it is, we call it category but it’s working exactly the same way. And if you need something different (more) than categories that’s pretty easy to add with Wordpress if you have some really basic dev skills. We can get you started on this.

I’m using tabs in the Page Builder and have run into a problem. I’m trying to add a long list of links, but it seems like there’s a character limit or something and the page won’t load when I try to look at it. I’ve noticed this happens when using the Accordion content element as well. I’ve checked the links list mark-up and there’s nothing wrong with it. Have you noticed this problem before? I would show you the page, but the site is an internal intranet site.

You can translate Woffice in ANY language as all the strings can be translated. We’ve already translated Woffice in : English, German, Spanish (2 differents), Iranian, French, Portuguese, Japanese, Italian, Russian, Turkish and Bulgarian.

How can this be achieved? I’m happy to pay for customisation work. Your theme has most of the functions already except for the API integration with fitbit (possibly a wp-plugin?) and leaderboard function on the dashbaord

Also, I think you’ll need to develop a custom plugin that’ll create a widget (or several widgets) to enter and display the data from your users. Then, you’ll be able to use this widget pretty much everywhere on Woffice (dashboard, right sidebar, footer…).

WC4BP http://themekraft.com/store/woocommerce-buddypress-integration-wordpress-plugin/ is this needed with them or does the them already integrate the two… I want to have users info synced across all facets of site – community, store, checkout and so on… Now i bought enough plugins to play around fro hours if not days and need to know what is needed and what is not… Is WC4BP needed ? I also am using buddyforms plugin… Please help explain what built in functionality exists with users info.
I’d also like to use a video instead of image for the login page – this would be great – for introductions and or explanation video when registering… Be nice update option to paste video link in theme settings… thanks! Great theme – awesome design.

It’s not needed as Woffice already works fine with Buddypress. But yes that’ll enhance your visitors’ experience. Woffice won’t add any customization about this plugin but it should work right out of the box.
I don’t really understand what you expect from us and the relation with the theme Woffice.

Feature request:
Have you thought about adding an achievements function which could be used in a school / education portal? I know Learndash has a function for issuing certificates when courses are completed, but I mean a solution for offline courses and exams whereby grades can be entered / imported and students can view their grades and print off (customisable) certificates, grade transcripts etc.
There appears to be no decent plugin for Wordpress to accomplish this in a good way, so maybe it would be a nice feature to add to the fantastic WOffice theme?

Yes, thanks, I actually contacted Learndash about this but it is not possible to manually award certificates. Badges and points can be awarded manually but not certificates. It is apprently on their roadmap though. We’ll have to go with another way of doing this for now.

Can you do the same to make it look good on mobile? ie focusing on “mobile first”?
Your theme hand down is the best on desktop, but since mobile is #1 now, can you please fix the UX/UI to make it look great on mobile and allow users want to go to this platform first instead of waiting to get home and open the site on their desktop or laptop?

So the issue is basically making your “Activity” section etc to be refined so you can view it easily on mobile and have that photo/video upload button readily there.

Hello, when you say it’s in 10 languages already do you mean I can change the language with a button? or that is WPML ready and I have to do the translation of the functional copys manually?

It means the .Po file is already translated in these 10 languages. So when you use one of these languages in your Wordpress admin all the Theme’s strings will be automatically translated. Of course that’s also working with WPML or any multi-language plugin.

I can see… and I see now that the non translated copys are from plugins The site is suposed to be in spanish but some of the recomended plugins are not translated… I’ll submit a ticket for another problem now on your intranet. Thanks for your answer!

Some files manager plugins allow you to create sub-folders. And enable you to listen your audio lecture directly from your browser (on Woffice).
But, Woffice is in partnership with Rtmedia and I just remembered that they have an addon to create Playlists : https://rtmedia.io/products/rtmedia-playlists/
So yes, it’s possible

Thanks for your interest in our product. Well there isn’t such feature in Woffice as it’s very specific.
But I see 2 ways to do it :
- Find a plugin which handle the Sales Report, install it and you’re good (the Dashboard page is compatible with any other Wordpress widget).
- Use a contact form plugin to get the data and a chart plugin to display the data in some nice graphs (harder).
