Sorry to hear you are having issues with our theme. In most cases the issue with the importer is due to server configuration.
Demo importer requires some additional resources to import all the media and content. The recommended values are:
max_execution_time = 600 memory_limit = 256M upload_max_filesize = 32M upload_max_filesize = 32M
If you have access to php.ini, you can change those values yourself. If not, you will need to contact your hosting.
Once changed, please try importing again.

Unfortunately, there is no option to add a sidebar. We can tell you which file you would need to edit in order to add a sidebar to your site.

Create a child theme and copy over single-team.php. We have created a right sidebar example: http://pastebin.com/q1ZXASsz (this is the single-team.php file).
In the example we the default sidebar to show. You can change it inside the dynamic_sidebar function.

Hello, we have tested it with WPML ourselves and it works. We are also waiting for WMPL to get back to us in regards to their Go-Global Program, which will make our theme officially compatible with WPML.
