Hello, is there a dark option to this theme?
Found it, thanks
No problem
Incredible! Please add autoresponder support from Aweber. Also API access is easier
Love this builder. So fluid and just rocks. This appears to be a new version of the very familar, commonly used html5 framework
Foundry is always a step up from everyone else and this rocks!.
A few questions.. sorry if I may have missed these stated.
Support for YT video url. I saw only self hosted options Working Ajax contact form? Can add our own html? Can we save projects? Exports a ready file set?
Since no one responds to support tickets, I’ll try over here.
The site download seems to be only the raw HTML files. Don’t I need image and CSS elements in one zipped file? Or is code calling these elements through HTML?
How can I add BS blocks I have from other builders, into your builder?
Hi,
Yes Youtube videos are supported as embeds and section backgrounds. You get raw html files and the other files that are required to support the pages are located in the js, css, fonts, img folders – your page will need to access these folders in order to display properly. You cannot add blocks to Variant, you must use what is included. When you export you page from Variant, you will get html only. When you put it with the other required files you will see the page display properly.

Good morning I’ll take some questions The English immature … (as a reference) The difference is not yiyongjung Bridge theme I www.journeymonkey.co.kr address The first show that if you use a footer on the home page whiter get off the scroll (use the left-hand menu) will show the background. You can do you make this part transparent? I think that’s the style I want jyeoteumyeon left menu rather than made transparent footer part is transparent. Or if you can add a widget to the right of the text or the very end or right end of the lower first shown on the screen. I would like to know
If you use a footer
Hi there,
I’m sorry but I can’t quite understand what you’re trying to say with this one.
SamSebastian already posted a comment regarding the slow scrolling due to parallax.js and I want to provide further feedback. It seems that the problem doesn’t occur on Edge on Windows 10, but does occur on IE11, Chrome, and Firefox as well. To correct the behavior without disabling parallax completely, I had to go inside parallax.js file and: – replace “a.deltaY/120” with “a.deltaY/40”; – replace “a.deltaY/3” with “a.deltaY/1” (or “a.deltaY”, of course)
Hi, and thanks for suggesting this. I’ll test on my Mac and Windows machines with the figures you suggested and I’ll add that into an update if all goes smoothly
we prefer not to “browser sniff” or change behaviour per platform, so the figures that go into the parallax function need to balance well across both Mac and Windows.
Cheers, James
Please try foundry.mediumra.re (clear your cache to get the changed file) as I’ve done some optimisations that speed up the scrolling on Chrome and Firefox on Windows without speeding too fast. Looking forward to your feedback.
Hello, I really love this theme, but before I purchase it, I have seen your Partner theme, of which I like even more the slab font. Is it possible to implement that in Foundry? Thanks!
Hi there,
You can use any Google font by placing the reference for that font in the header of your file. Then change the CSS font-family to ‘Roboto Slab’
I was speaking more about the Partner layout, is it possible to do kind of the same in Foundry?
Yes, if you include the Roboto Slab font from Google Fonts
Ok great. As the website is in html, how things like the blog are working?
Yes the pages generated by Variant are static. The blog layouts are provided as illustrative, and useful for those who wish to use the template for adaptation to a blogging CMS or a static site generator such as Jekyll. While you technically can edit blog pages, dates and links will need to be handled manually.
Hi man! just noticed you’ve add “data-fixed-at” option for nav. Would you be able to provide a usage example for fixing the menu always (doesn’t retract)? Much appreciated!!
Hi there,
Apologies for the delay to this reply. The idea of data-fixed-at is a pixel amount you specify when you want the nav to become fixed – though this is intended when you want the nav to retract. If you wanted the nav to stay fixed at all times you could add this in custom.css:
nav.fixed{ position: fixed; opaicty: 1; visibility: visisble: transform: none; }

Hi,
My parallax image has a trouble as you can see on this site: http://musatek.com/new/ on the BERPENGALAMAN section.
It looks like it stucks on the top while scrolling to the bottom.
Can you help me?
Thanks.
Hi there,
Thanks for purchasing!
The parallax on that section seems to be working fine for me on Chrome, FF and Safari – which browser are you using?
Cheers, Craig
Never mind,
It’s now working. I got no idea why it wasn’t.
Thank you very much for responding.
Cheers.
No worries
Why are some pages like:
http://foundry.mediumra.re/shop-sidebar-right.htmlnot included in the Variant builder? The FILTER feature in Variant for Shop only has the single-product page.
Are we suppose to copy and paste from the foundry.mediumra.re website?
Hi there,
We haven’t included sidebars in Variant because there is no functionality to add widgets etc and we’ve found customers have been confused with this in the past. You won’t need to copy and paste from mediumra.re because you have all the HTML files in the download package alongside the builder
Thanks, Craig
Hi, in the changlog of 1.9.5.1 is see this file has changed: *.html What file is that? Is it the builder?
It means each .html file has changed – the body class ‘scroll-assist’ was added to all html pages
I have a question about updates. I am currently building a site with your template,Im guessing updating to a newer version should not break anything currently working.? existing css, etc.? Thanks
Hi there,
That’s right – as long as you’ve kept all your CSS changes inside custom.css, you can preserve that file and then replace the updated files over the top. The changelog will help you to know which files have been updated
Craig
Hi, since updating to 1.9.5, I’ve noticed that the parallax scrolling is no longer smooth, but rather “jumpy.” Anyone else noticed this?
Hi, we made scroll smoothing optional in 1.9.5. You can add class scroll-assist to the body and you’ll get smoothing back. We’re releasing an update to cover this in the docs and provide the body class by default so all pages will have scroll smoothing.
You guys are the best. Thanks for the quick response and continuing updates.
No worries! Thanks for your continued support
I can not upload a picture http://joxi.ru/BA01gJaUNDblry
Hi, Are you using the demo site or are you using the copy that came in your download package? You should use the copy in your download package, then when you copy your images to the img folder, you can import them to Variant.
James
Hi, Is it possible to disable a checkbox? I’ve tried using disabled and readonly but to no avail. Thanks!
Hi, Please open a ticket at ticksy.mediumra.re and we’ll be glad to assist in providing the code necessary to make this happen.
Cheers, James
...(( v 1.9.5
What about Google Analytics?
Hi, Sorry that custom Google Analytics code could not be included in the latest version of Variant. We are pushing fast to release a new item at this time. When that item is released, we will be able to implement this feature in Variant.
Thanks, James
Is the Variant that’s shown in the preview an older version? I’m not seeing simple things like adding modals, buttons, some customizations, etc. Just want to make sure it can handle what I assume before purchasing.
Hi there,
We haven’t got modal customization and management in Variant yet. This is the current version of the builder
Thanks, Craig
Any idea when update 1.5 is coming???
Hi there,
Do you mean 2.0? We’re currently on 1.9.x
If so, we’ve got a smaller update coming soon with some additions, then 2.0 will follow
What will be new in 2.0? Can we have a preview of the new features?
There is no preview at the moment but we’ll keep you posted via our social media channels
Im looking through the documentation, have a quick question. I know I can add youtube/vimeo iframe in a modal, can we add local video in a modal.? Thanks
Nevermind, just found it…..... Thank you very much.
Hi there,
Glad you found what you were looking for in the documentation
Thanks again for purchasing Foundry! Craig
Hi, amazing work! please help with my ticket, Private Ticket #761794, thanks!
Replied
Hi, in the builder when i change the ids of twitter and instagram the feed dessapear. Why? And when i export the feed dont show up too
Hi there,
I’ve tested just now and these elements are working when I change the IDs. Are you using the latest version of Foundry?
If so, please feel free to open a ticket at mediumrare.ticksy.com so we can assist in more detail.
Thanks, Craig
the psd used to make the mockups can you point me to them
Hi there,
Unfortunately the PSDs don’t accurately reflect the final product as much of the design was completed in-browser.
Apologies, Craig
