i’ve re-downloaded the theme so that I could upgrade. I’m still at version 1.7. Where do I get the latest version?

You can download it from themeforest download section.
Follow the below steps to update the theme.
i) Download the theme from themeforest page.
ii) If you have made any custom changes in the code, please take a backup of it.
iii) Overwrite the updated theme files to the older theme files. Update the custom change that you had already.
iv) Go to Dashboard > Buddha Panel > Backup > Backup Options to backup the buddha panel settings and you can restore it, if you loose it in theme updates.
v) Go to wp-content/plugins/ through FTP.
vi) Remove the folder designthemes-core-features/ from wp-content/plugins/
vii) Then Login to Dashboard > Appearance > Install Plugins. Install the Designthemes Core Features plugin. That’s it. Now you are updated to the latest version.

Theme is removing hyperlinks from the Copyright text in the sub-footer of the site. All the urls are there correctly entered, but the text is not clickable and it doesn’t link properly.

Hi, (1) In the theme we have four options for the header, 1- top menu and contact info 2- contact info and top menu 3- contact info and social media 4- social media and contact info, i want to add another one as (top menu and social media), so how i can add it???

i) You need to create the new header type then you need to copy and paste the any one header file and edit that file as you want from wp-content > themes > soulmedic > framework > headers
ii) Goto wp-content > themes > soulmedic > header.php
Add the following lines of code as shown in the screenshot.

Ok , i will check, and thanks.. but by the ways, i tried two times the old layer slider with two different websites and hosting, and in each time, the hosting company scanned the website and they informed me that they found malicious code on layslider slider plugin! can you check please? as this code affect the full site (malware)!

Hi. I have got a problem to save changes in the Add Code Inside the <head> text box in Soulmedic Buddha Panel -> Integration -> General tab. hello, thank you for your suggestion, but i am still having problems, . I updated the theme, and also updated the custom plugin as you suggested. On the home page, all the dropdown menu’s work fine, but on a sub page, the drop down menus seem to be disabled or dont load. Any reason for this home page – corkdentalsmiles.ie sub page where dropdown menu does not appear – http://corkdentalsmiles.ie/cosmetic-dentistry/teeth-whitening/
adding to this, there is a js error (Uncaught Error: Syntax error, unrecognized expression: a[href^=#]) maybe this may help

Already the soulmedic gallery section works like that only. Just login to Dashboard > Portfolio and add any number of portfolio items with images. Then go to Pages and create a new page and assign “Gallery Template” to that page and check that page in front end. The portfolio items will be opened in lightbox gallery.

Thanks for your reply. I was referring more to an ‘embedded’ lightbox gallery. For example, if I would like to embed a small gallery in an existing page. Similar to the native WP gallery but one that opens the images up in a lightbox. I’ve seen a few plugins that do the trick (e.g. https://wordpress.org/plugins/gallery-lightbox-slider/) but was wondering if there was anything built in to the theme that could be used instead.
I do have the latest version of the SoulMedic theme installed 1.8.6. When WordPress JUST automatically updated to version 4.5.1 it breaks the page builder. You suggested fix did not work with the latest version of WordPress.
