How can I post a screenshot? I mean, in the top wordpress bar, when I’m viewing the site, there is usually a link that says “edit page”, beside where it says “edit with visual compposer”, but on the demo pages, there is no “edit page” option.

When you add that in the Visual Composer make sure you remove the margin and padding from top and the bottom of the row because it automatically adds, also make sure there is no row above that slider, can you please send us your site URL, so we can investigate your site and then get back to you with possible solution.

P.S. make sure you’ve disabled the Maintenance/Coming Soon mode

Ok, so I deleted my subdomain, version of wordpress, and the theme, and then reinstalled everything, and pages are working, and google maps seems to be working, I don’t know if you fixed it, or it was the re-install, but anyway, things are working, so I don’t need any help.

To translate/rename theme strings, you can do this via Loco Translate plugin. If you don’t have this plugin, please install and activate it in your WordPress site.

1. Then go to Loco Translate > Manage Translations

2. Click “New Language” for the current active theme (if you didn’t created it yet, otherwise ignore this step). On the new language page, choose these options – click here http://d.pr/i/1ewoc

3. After that you will be redirected to the editing screen for theme translations. Before you continue make sure this is true – click here http://d.pr/i/18h0w

4. Follow these instructions to learn how to translate strings – http://d.pr/i/1jsek

5. The changes will be applied immediately – http://d.pr/i/1ju6w

Note: Translation files will be saved to wp-content/themes/{theme-name}/languages folder. Here you have the explanation – http://d.pr/i/1lBCJ

After you make your changes, always save a backup when there is new theme update. After you update the theme (languages folder will be replaced), just move the backup files you previously saved to the same languages directory and your changes will still be applied.

If you have imported our demo content content, that slider would have appeared as on our demo. But i think that you have created your site from the scratch.

Anyway, we have firstly created the Slider on the Layer Slider and then on the homepage we included the slider through Visual Composer element called “Layer Slider.

If you can’t update LayerSlider, go to Plugins and deactivate Layer Slider. Then go to Appearance > Install Plugins, you now can update and then activate Layer Slider again.

That is happening because you are using an old version of Aurum and the latest version of Wordpress.

So please update Aurum theme to the version 2.9.2 first and then the premium plugins too.

The easiest way to update our themes is if you use Envato Toolkit. On this link How to update Themes and Plugins you can learn this easy step-by-step procedure

Very Important: After you update the theme please don’t forget to go to Appearance > Install Plugins to update all your premium plugins to the latest version that we support.

P.S: If you can’t update LayerSlider, go to Plugins and deactivate Layer Slider. Then go to Appearance > Install Plugins, you now can update and then activate Layer Slider again.

It seems that our code doesn’t work on old PHP versions, because on our testings on localhost the search worked perfect, but our sever (and probably your server too) is using an old version. We just fixed this to work on both

So please download this file search.php and replace it to wp-content> themes> aurum.

The emails problem is completely related to hosting environment, because WooCommerce will immediately send you important emails such as order emails and other related emails.

To test if emails are being delivered properly install this plugin:

Use its “Test email send” tool. If you have SMTP server to send emails, you may configure it and try it. If none of them doesn’t work, then you should head over GoDaddy support and let they fix this problem for you.

About stock management, after googling it I saw that users have had this issues, and came across to this topic:

WooCommerce is aware of this and ‘hold stock’ functionality is built into the core. If you go to WooCommerce > Settings > Products > Inventory you can choose the amount of time that stock is Held For for unpaid orders – http://cld.wthms.co/koJQ

Change that “5” minutes to your own desired value.
