Hello guys, I purchased theme Aurum, and applied demo – Jewelry , but I want to add also cart counter like in fashion theme , how can I do that ? In admin widget section I cant find Header widgets section, let me know how can I add cart counter to menu.

Unfortunately this is not possible, in the centered header menu you cannot have a cart on the right side with the counter, it is a plain header that doesn’t include these options.

Hi, On the main shop listing page where all products show, we are get the error Warning: Division by zero in var/sites/a/amiska.co.uk/public_html/design/wp-content/themes/aurum/woocommerce/content-product.php on line 83 . The product rows do not not display in rows. They are in one vertical column with one image for each product plus one large image just below each one. Any ideas? :)

Can you please tell us what version of Aurum, Wordpress and WooCommerce are you using first?

We don’t have this issue on our theme, and it should work to you too, so can you please disable all your third-party plugins (plugins that don’t come with our theme) one by one, and check if this problem is solved?

Hi Ylli, Computers are funny things aren’t they. All is ok now. We disabled all plugins (again). Was still not working. Wordpress, Woocommerce and Aurum all at very latest versions. Decided to make a new Wordpress install in another directory. Now working perfectly.

Will delete the faulty installation and forget about it. :)

When installing your theme in an already up and running website as an replacement for a previous theme I cannot get to my existing pages anymore. It gives this failure notice: Fatal error: Call to undefined function get_field() in /**/themes/aurum/inc/laborator_functions.php on line 686

Hi Equirex,

It looks that you haven’t installed ACF plugin which is required for our theme to work properly.

Please go to Appearance > Install Plugins to install/activate or update all the plugins that you see there :)

Hi we have just published this website www.mondodipezza.it and it was working fine. Now it seems it lost is responsivness feature. Is there some sort of responsive enable switch? I’ve seen that in the body class now appears a ‘vc_non_responsive’ class…How is it possibile?

We don’t have this issue on our theme, and it should work to you too. Can you please disable all your third-party plugins (plugins that don’t come with our theme) one by one, and check if this problem is solved.

P.S: You are using an old version of our theme (2.9) and the latest version for the moment is (2.9.2), please update theme first and then the premium plugins too.

The easiest way to update our themes is if you use Envato Toolkit. On this link How to update Themes and Plugins you can learn this easy step-by-step procedure :)

Very Important: After you update the theme please don’t forget to go to Appearance > Install Plugins to update all your premium plugins to the latest version that we support.

If you can’t update LayerSlider, go to Plugins and deactivate Layer Slider. Then go to Appearance > Install Plugins, you now can update and then activate Layer Slider again.

Please update your Wordpress and WooCommerce plugin if you have older versions.

Hello, i bought your theme but i have trouble with

1) the blog slider at POST SLIDER IMAGES some weird code show up instead and is not working.

2) I want to use some use some H3 for example for a blog post into but not being capitalized auromatically. SO i entered a custom CSS to disbale the uppercase but now the HOME page with the titles is also affected. Is there a way how i can use some of the H fomratting for blog posts or contents but not in UPPERCASE without affecting the other parts of the page? Is there a plugin that works with the theme to easily modify fonts?

3) I love this theme and bought extra support because you didnt reply before and hope to take this baby home all the way. Thanks!

4) Is there a “personal shopper” you can reccomend suhc as used in:http://neighborhood.swiftideas.com/ (check personal shopper and the filter options). Will you have this planned in some of the next version and if not what you reccomend?

5) The VC composer doesn’t load always. Whats going on? On my laptop it shows up but on desktop rarely! Could you have a look and let me know what might be the problem? ALreday restarted computer and emptied cache etc,

Hi, when you enter the webshop with a mobile device, the options for category. gets to the buttom insted top, how to change that, since its wierd you need scroll past 20 products before getting the option too chose, for your self.

Aurum is very easy to install by yourself too, just read our Aurum Documentation and there we have explained the procedure step by step with a video too.

2— I don’t think that WooCommerce .gif images are supported for the moment on the product sections.

In this product list page, there is a sort by option on right side top. This will affect the menu. If I go to the menu on this page, the sub menu is going under the sort by option. So I can’t able to select the menus.

1— This option is not supported by WooCommerce, and we can’t change anything there, maybe any plugin can do this but i personally don’t know any that can do this specific job.

2— Can you please record this and then send us the video link, in this way we can easily understand you and give you the proper answer :)

P.S: You are using an old version of our theme (2.8) and the latest version for the moment is (2.9.2), please update theme first and then the premium plugins too.

Great theme! I purchased the Aurum theme and am using the bookshop demo content with a few modifications. I have a page that i named MyLibrary and would like the content of the WooCommerce shop to appear on that page. How can I do that? Also, on the WooCommerce Product Search sidebar widget, how do I change the default text inside the search box to “Search My Library” instead of “Search Products…”? I can change the widget title but not the default text that appears inside the search bar. Any help you can provide is greatly appreciated.

To translate/rename theme strings, you can do this via Loco Translate plugin. If you don’t have this plugin, please install and activate it in your WordPress site.

1. Then go to Loco Translate > Manage Translations

2. Click “New Language” for the current active theme (if you didn’t created it yet, otherwise ignore this step). On the new language page, choose these options – click here http://d.pr/i/1ewoc

3. After that you will be redirected to the editing screen for theme translations. Before you continue make sure this is true – click here http://d.pr/i/18h0w

4. Follow these instructions to learn how to translate strings – http://d.pr/i/1jsek

5. The changes will be applied immediately – http://d.pr/i/1ju6w

Note: Translation files will be saved to wp-content/themes/{theme-name}/languages folder. Here you have the explanation – http://d.pr/i/1lBCJ

After you make your changes, always save a backup when there is new theme update. After you update the theme (languages folder will be replaced), just move the backup files you previously saved to the same languages directory and your changes will still be applied.

P.S: Instead of the theme name you will need to translate WooCommerce on the dropdown of LocoTranslate plugin.

Thanks Ylii – this worked for changing the WooCommerce search box default text!

Now I want to add default search text in the WP search bar which currently defaults to blank space. How can I add default text to that search bar?

Also, when using the WP search bar, the search results do not appear. A search results page renders but all I can see is: “2 results found for ‘search term’” and what looks like a tab with: “All (2)” as the tab text. The rest of the page is blank. I checked Theme Options>Other Settings>Search Results and all the relevant items are ticked.

Hi, how do you set up, so you can tell costumer how many delivery days there will be, when they order a item. So they also get it on the order notes.

is there also a way, to set up that the costumer can get a transaction number when buying a item ?.

edit product meta data… Hi with Pinterest you can have ‘rich pins’ which reads the product meta data from my website and automatically updates the pins. However, my rich pins aren’t coming out right. Each product page has 2 product options. The rich pins only show the price for one option (the lower price). Also it’s pulling the product catagory names into the rich pin title. e.g. “feather earrings earrings, soul frame collection” but it should just say “feather earrings”. It’s also showing dollars as the currency. Any ways round this? I can’t work out where to edit the product meta data or whether it would be a bad idea to do so?

I think meta data for rich pins are automatically crawled from pinterest and our theme doesn’t handle that. So after searching on google about this topic, I’ve found this plugin that places correctly rich pins meta data on your site:

It requires Yoast plugin as well.

It is really hard to validate HTML in a WordPress theme because the plugins and WordPress will add extra classes and inline style to elements which will not allow the theme to be fully validated.

I have problem with attributes/variants on variable products. The Variants shows on the bottom of product page. I use this theme on other websites and the attributes works fine. The website is “under construction” so i cant give you a link, but i took a screenshot so you can see where it is. The attributes/variants i use in the screenshot is “Marmor bord – large, small”
