First couple of things to do:

1. Make sure you’re running the latest version of the theme and test, check this KB article I put together on updating https://contempo.ticksy.com/article/5970/ — also make sure you’re running the latest version of WordPress.
2. If you’re still experincing issues deactivate any non-required plugins and test one of them might be screwing with the drag/drop reordering on the admin side possibly a script issue.

After both of those if you’re still having trouble open a ticket on the support site and we’ll take a look.

Yes, actually thats the preferred way in my theme it takes the street address, city, state, zip/postcode, country, etc…and geolocates the address although latitude and longitude can also be used if the street address can’t be found say for plots of land or possible places not in Googles Mapping API.

Yeah, I’ve built in an entire front end listing system you can preview it on the demo site login with demo/demo http://contempothemes.com/wp-real-estate-7/multi-demo/, it also allows you to setup simple PayPal payments for submitting listings, by default an admin has to manually approve but you also have the option of auto-approvals as well.

That’s correct. I’ve personally integrated iHomeFinder for another buyer/client and it required very small tweaks mostly just CSS for instance the homepage search when using the iHomeFinder search widget, I’ve also done IDXBroker for another buyer/client checkout http://contempothemes.com/wp-real-estate-7/multi-demo/showcase/ > Main Street Real Estate Group to see that in action that also required small CSS tweaks.

Since both iHomeFinder & IDXBroker are popular options I’m going to go ahead and include those CSS tweaks within theme itself I’ll see if I can get that in tomorrows update, although that still doesn’t guarantee 100% compatibility due to those plugin developers always releasing updates and things like that small things I’m sure will still come up, but in regards to the homepage search widgets I’ll go ahead and get that included.

Wow. That is great. dsldxpress has been getting some questionable reviews and I have heard some good things about iHomeFinder so I would like to have the option to use either. Very helpful.

Sounds like theres some errors either within the template or your server setup, OR issues with how you transferred your site over. Did you use a plugin like https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-clone-by-wp-academy/ or did you do it manually?

First thing I’d recommend is grab the latest version of the theme from http://themeforest.net/downloads and overwrite the existing on your server via FTP, see steps on that in this KB article https://contempo.ticksy.com/article/5970/ and test.

1. It doesn’t have an option to upload say a background image for the mega menu, however you could easily achieve that with some CSS, basically something like this #menu-item-1721 > .sub-menu { background: url(http://yourdomain.com/path/to/image.jpg) no-repeat right center;}, that would be added via Real Estate 7 Options > Custom CSS — once you purchase of course
2. You could easily use Visual Composer which comes packaged with the theme to create a main page like your example then sub page for each condo complex with images, specific information, etc…

For the mega menu, I don’t necessarily want one background image. I want to have text like you have, but maybe have one image to the side of the text with a featured house or building. Is that easy to customize?

Also, does the home page have a setting to feature the latest blog posts similar to how you have the Featured Listings? Thanks.

That would be a little more involved than just some simple CSS, that would require custom widgets in the mega menu which it currently doesn’t support but possibly in the near future I’ll add this capability.

Yes, you can actually use one of the four page builder areas the homepage offers along with Visual Composer to pretty much display anything you’d like on the homepage, admin screenshot and one more.

1. You could do that however I wouldn’t recommend it as the login/register button turns into a user dropdown giving them access to all their specific personal pages, like my listings, favorites, profile edit, submit, etc…
