I’m afraid that isn’t something the theme can control though, if Soundcloud’s embed options doesn’t allow you to do that, then it can’t be done, as Soundcloud embeds are done via iframes, which means the code for them is loaded from Soundcloud.

I understand, I was innocently hoping this could be achieved with some CSS but it’s not a big deal, really

Something else I’m struggling with. Our logo image takes the whole header space and when I try to place a banner adsense ad code at the top it doesn’t show. I’m guessing it stays underneath the logo image. Is there any way to have the ad showing between the header image and the navigation menu?

Regarding the ad, if you add a header ad it automatically appears under the logo if you have the center option on (which you do), so it should output in between the header image and nav menu. Is that not happening for you?

When you say it doesn’t work, what exactly is happening? The background upload button doesn’t work? Can you show me a screenshot of what you see? And have you tried disabling all plugins?

To add a grid for categories, simply edit it in your WordPress backend (via Posts -> Categories) and you should see some “Valenti options”, if you don’t, make sure the Cubell plugin is active.

Functionality like that doesn’t really belong in a theme, it’s plugin-territory. If you have a WordPress site you can play with somewhere, try installing a few free front end editor plugins and see if you like any. If you can get it to work with the default theme (TwentySixteen), then it should work the same in Valenti

Thanks for checking out Valenti. WooCommerce uses custom post types (products) to work, and currently the post megamenus use standard WordPress categories to work, so there isn’t an option for a products megamenu as such.

I just resorted to a previous version and it works. Then started transferring files one by one until I found the issue. The function.php file seemed to messed everything up. I just imported all the files from 5.3 minus the function.php and everything seems to be working.

That is a weird one, no one has reported that problem and lots of users are on 5.3. If you are using a child-theme and overwriting custom files, it is probably due to that. I’d recommend getting the 5.3 version of any files you are overwriting in the child and put your customization in there again to use the latest files.

But customizations like that go well beyond Themeforest theme support policy, so you will need to hire a developer to help you out for things like that. I recommend looking on Envato Studio for one as that site is run by same people who run Themeforest. Although for a coupon box, depending on exactly what you need, I’d recommend looking for plugins first that may already offer what you need (check free ones first, then on CodeCanyon for premium ones).

Thanks for the interest in Valenti Yes the theme can use Chinese characters, I have seen some Chinese users use the theme with no problem. Just make sure to use fonts that have chinese characters, such as cwTeXYen from Google Fonts: https://www.google.com/fonts/earlyaccess
