How to mail to support. My credentials do not work at http://my.morethanthemes.com/login
May be we need a more detailed doc for full install.I am on NGINX and my full install is missing bells and whistles of CSS at http://content.templesofindia.net/
Lot of searching and some NGINX tweaks got the shape back at http://content.templesofindia.net/
Hi – thanks for sharing this update (that was quick!) Your site looks Ok, now, do you mind sharing what CSS features you were missing before?
Also, you can reach out to us via the information provided in the support documentation/readme: http://support.morethanthemes.com/customer/en/portal/articles/2454183-documentation-user-guide-for-journal-8
Thanks. How can we get support at MtT Customer Portal. One quick Q. Can we extend the read% to a new content type. Any help is appreciated
Hi Mandavia – have you seen our Support Documentation here? At the header of the document you can see the email address to reach us so we can assist with access to the portal and the question you had.
Just bought theme – got demo installed – try to change logo and it’s not changing – http://probowlorlando.com/themes/custom/journaleight/logo.svg – that .svg. I went into appearance and I upload new image and doesn’t show up. What’s up?
Hi – thanks for the chance to clarify. Although the link you provided doesn’t your work and your site is under maintenance, when browsing to the homepage http://probowlorlando.com/ it looks like the logo was indeed uploaded and rendered successfully on Journal8. Would you mind confirming that it shows up correctly while you are logged in, now?
Thanks, MtT
Hey I figured out the logo on the http://probowlorlando.com/ – but I can’t figure out how to change the main menu. I change it under menu drop down but nothing happens. http://probowlorlando.com/user – probowlorlando and pass; Baller12 – let me know please.
Thanks for the quick response and for confirming Mark.
Are you referring to changing the menu items? This is likely the result of caching – have you considered clearing the Drupal cache, from the Performance page?
Also, because this discussion is public and to avoid sharing your credentials publicly, would you want to open a support ticket by shooting an email to our support team? The email address is provided in the readme files and the documentation. We can then look at this at your convenience.
Let us know, please and we’re happy to assist. MtT
cleared cache and yes main menu items do not change at all – what is going on?
Also, it does look like you’ve managed to change the menu items, indeed, in th meantime, given how the “Home” parent menu item in your installation is different to the demo, would you mind confirming that too?
Mark, please note that you have given your credentials publicly at the comment above. Please remove the information or change the password for the admin in your Drupal installation.
I took the credentials down – please email me for new ones. But Yes Main Menu when you change or move does not appear on homepage. I cleared cache. What’s up – how do I fix this issue with main menu on website?
Hi Mark – can you send us a DM over here for credentials, as we don’t have your email address? What you are experiencing is most likely the result of Drupal caching and/or aggregation of JS/CSS files but to be more certain, we’ll definitely need to have a look. Thanks
The special content type and blocks do not show up.
Hi – have you followed the installation instructions in the provided documentation, for installing the demo content and configuration as well?
If they don’t show up, it looks like you might not have followed those instructions and just used Journal8 as a simple Drupal theme. That’s OK too (Journal8 was designed to support that scenario too), but this way, as you noticed, you are missing out on the special functionality and configuration shown in our live demo.
Please let us know if you have followed the installation instructions or if there’s any question about those. If you are unsure about any of those, feel welcome to open a support ticket by shooting an email to our support team – the email address is provided in the packaged readme and documentation. We are here to help out.
Thanks – MtT
