It’s possible though it requires quite a work to get it done. You can refer to Template 13’s Video Gallery for sample but that one is not responsive.

Basically a new custom slide composition need to be created. This composition has to be created with the Composition widget and not the Slideshows widget which only supports images.

Uninstalled Flash player and the widget worked perfectly after that.

It’s an Adobe thing.

This will be tricky to solve as I can’t do the troubleshooting on my side since I don’t own a secure domain.

This is what you can do. Open the Master Page’s Page Properties dialog. In the Metadata box, look for this line:

Change the script version to version 1.8.3. So it will look like this:

I believe I figured it out, I think I had some of the footer stretching below the base line, so it was creating a secondary scroll instance. Either that or my Google Maps widget was a little too big. Either way, the problem went away. Thanks CJ

If changing the favicon in the site properties windows doesn’t work, you can check Master Page document page properties. There’s also a favicon setting there.

You can also try to clear your browser cache files and see if the favicon has been updated.

It’s not created with the Scroll Effects. The animations are created with the additional JavaScript and CSS. Open the Main Documentation, and read this section:

Functions, Effects and Animations Created with the Additional JavaScript & CSS > Wow.js & Animate.css Reveal Animations.

If you want to disable the animations, go to the Master Page. From the top menu, select Page > Page Properties > Metadata Tab and delete these codes:

Hi this is a common problem with the more complicated responsive templates. It doesn’t happen with the adaptive or alternate layouts ones. To make sure that the problem is not unique only on Tersus, I have actually bought a responsive Muse template here for testing, and found out that the problem does happen on other complicated responsive template. I wont put the name here but if you want to know which one, you can email me at soulmemoria@gmail.com.

Actually the preview for responsive templates will load but it takes a very long time. As you’ve mentioned, the app will freeze for quite some times. During this time, try not to do anything and juat wait patiently. I have also found out that this has nothing to do with how good or bad your computer is though better machine will still perform slightly better. A lot of people with high end computers have reported the same problems. On my side, it usually takes about 3-5 minutes for a responsive template preview to load. There are others that take shorter and also longer.

I have reported the problem to the Adobe Muse development team and have also seen the same kind of problems reported a few times. They are aware of the performance problem and I believe they are working on making the app performing better as this is one of the famous problem being reported. Hopefully the next stable realease will be a lot better.

I’m sorry for the trouble, but for the time being, there isn’t much that can be done to fix this problem. I’ve tried a few things but it doesn’t seem to do much in term of speeding up the preview load time. The only things that work is by taking off elements and pages to make the templates ligther. Try to preview one template and do nothing on your computer. Give it some times. You should see the preview do load although taking a very long time.

Yes. You can go to Tersus’s Item Details page and scroll down to the bottom part. There’s a Changelog section.

Crucial updates are made on the tersus.css and tersus.js files. You just need to replace them. You can also choose to replace the smoothscroll.js file. The changes may not affect all templates, since some of the styling and functions are not necessarily needed in certain templates. However just to be safe, it’s better to replace the files.

If you don’t want to download the main file because of its huge size, you can emaiil me at soulmemoria@gmail.com. I can send you the small CSS and JavaScript files that need to be replaced.

Hi, the theme was built with in the Adobe Muse platform, which is currently still lacking or more accurately still doesn’t have a CMS feature. Therefore, as you’ve mentioned, blogs or e-com pages have to be linked out.

Have you checked the Additional Notes for template 14? You need to change the gallery widget settings to show the lightbox. You will see the text once the lightbox composition has been shown.

In the Additonal Notes file, go to the portfolio section. If the documentation doesn’t help dont hesitate to let me know.

Hi, responsive feature in Muse is quite new. Starting from around February this year.

I have optimized some of the templates to be responsive. Which are template 1, 8, 10, 12 & 14. The rest are still the ‘Alternate Layouts’ type which are using three different type of separate layouts. The process of converting is ongoing but it takes a lot of works and time to do it, so it will be in phases.

All alternate layouts template can be converted to be responsive. However for certain templates with parallax effects like template 11, a special function called Scroll Effects has been used to create the parallax effects. Unfortunately, this function is currently not available in the fluid layout.

So currently for responsive templates, you can choose between the 5 template design mentioned above.

If I understand the problem correctly, this is how you can look for objects that went missing on other breakpoints when they are relocate from objects like composition containers or state buttons.

Say that in the Testimonial section, you have relocated a text frame from the State Button in the 1050 breakpoint. You know the location of the text frame right? Select the text frame. With the text frame selected, go to any one of the other breakpoints. The area where the selected text frame is located is the page area that will be shown.

Great that you’ve got it figured out. Yes it’s tricky since a single composition may have a lot layers from a few widgets in it. A little tip. You will know that you have selected a new widget when you see the little ‘x’ marks at the corners.
