I been interesting in buying this theme, one thing I’m after is if a user registers (as a agent etc) can you then have the system EMAIL them if you have some sort of booking (I saw you can get woocommerce booking and a plugin from your site to link them up) but will this email that user or the webmaster ?

Do you mean if there is any auto email feature after there is new users registered? if so, we don’t have it as a default. you may need to find a plugin which works fine with our theme.
if you are talking about email confirmation after booking, you need to have a look at woocommerce booking plugin instruction. we only worked compatibility with our theme and the plugin. About Addons

I would like to use the theme for restaurant top-10 lists based on different rating categories for each restaurant. It should use the map/list style. Would that be possible? One rating could be popularity, another newspaper reviews. I would expect one restaurant could have up to 10 different ratings.

There is an option to setup mobile menu background color. you can set it up. it might be transparency and looks disappeared. If you are talking about our demo sites, please let us know which one. we will change the setting.

Good Day, I am really liking your theme and have the following pre-sale questions.
1. Can the features from the demos be combined? I am looking to build a city guide/magazine, so my main page should look more like a magazine guide and not a directory.
2. That being said, I want to use functionality from the directory in internal pages, but do not want it to be accessed from the homepage. Can a category listing be placed in pages via shortcodes?
3. Are listings treated as custom post types and have their own taxonomies? I am wondering what kind of designs you have for single posts. Can they be customized freely?
4. When displaying a map with listings like shown here (http://javothemes.com/spot/demo1/map/?category=166), can the search form be hidden? Can I add a different header? Can I add text in the beginning of the page?
5. Is the theme translation ready?

1. Yes, the pages are built by visual composer. so you can remove, add, edit or combine to add shortcodee on a page. (except fixed template pages such as map, form, my pages.
2. I am not sure if I understood clearly, we have a category slide shortcode. you can add it on a page.
3. Yes it does. it’s listing post type and there are listing categories / location … etc) But single listing pages are fixed. you need to modify php file
4. There is an option to change search position on “lava advanced map addon ( http://lava-code.com/directory/product/advanced-map/ ). but we don’t have hide search form. because it’s for searching and fitering. however, you can add a simple css code to hide. You can add different header style and add text for normal pages ( not templates such as map, submit, single listing).

1. Okay, Can you please send demo links to the pages you mentioned as exceptions? I can’t be sure of which pages you are referring to and its very important for me to know which pages I wont be able to customize.
2&4. Sorry for the confusion. For example – Can I create a page called “Downtown Hotels”, add content to the page (header slider and copy) and at the bottom show the listings under a specific category, in this case, “hotels/downtown” category? I was asking if you have a shortcode that I can use to achieve that. I only want to show the listings (filtered results for the specific category) without the search functionality on top. Can the shortcode show the listings with the map only?

I believe there might be a few more. but most of pages are possible to create with VC.
2. You can display listings by specific categories. there is a shortcode. you can add sliders on header. if you don’t want to add any search forms, then you don’t need.
there is no shortcode for maps.
I believe it’s possible to create the page you want. but not sure 100% of your detail plan.

I have some additional questions that arose looking at your theme closely. I apologize for the numerous questions but I need to make sure the theme will work for the set-up I need.
1.Where can I see the shortcodes for the theme?
2. Can search form and search field be hidden from the homepage? As I was saying, I don’t want my website to look like a directory, but more like a city guide/magazine.
3. If I don’t want to use the “claim listing” and “submit listing” functionality, can I have it deactivated? For the moment, I want all listings to be free.
4. Do you have any banner/ad widgets for monetization?
5. What is customizable at single listing pages? Can labels for amenities be changed according to category? For instance, I cant show the same amenities for a restaurant that I show for a hotel (their business nature is different).
6. Can author info be removed from the bottom of a single listing? I am okay with having author info in regular posts, but do not want to display an author page. Can it be disabled?
7. Can the homepage have a slider instead of a background image?
8. If I were to add another CPT (custom post type), will the theme support its taxonomies? Will the theme’s shortcodes work with the new type of CPT’s? Will I be able to update the new CPT’s with visual composer?

3. Claim feature is with an addon which you need to purchase if you need. so you don’t need to purchase and install. (as you may know there are some paid addons )
4. You can remove this widget ( http://prntscr.com/bhdal5 ) on top menu. if you need to hide submit buttons on my page, you need to add some custom css code to hide.
5. There is no option to customize single listing pages. you need to hide with custom css if you want to hide. or you need to create a child theme and customize it.

7. Yes, demo 1, demo4 are sliders (revolution slider)
8. It’s basically not. as you may know shortcodes are only working for specific post types which we worked on. I am not sure how you want to use. but it’s basically not.
I see you have a different project than normal one. our support assist only setup like our demos. if you have some customization, you need to do. our support team assist as much as they can. but only simple codes (hide some parts.. with simple css code). or you can ask our support team for paid customization. not sure they will do. it depends on your requests.
I see that it seems your project is fine with our theme. but there are some different parts which you may need to setup or customize.

I believe our developers are already working on submit / login buttons for placing on pages. so you can add buttons on pages as shortcodes.

Hi, i need to buy this theme. before buy i need some requirements.
1) can i create third level categories. For Example : if you got vehicle >cars>honda like wise
Ex2: Real Estate->For Sale->House, likewise i need to create 3rd level catagories. but i seen your demo there are multiple selection.
Problem is you showing one dropdown in all catagories for example : Beauty-> Hair, Nail likewise you created.

2) Advanced filter is not filtering. if you select category (Ex : Books) all advanced filters are showing. i have about 200 amenities. if user couldn’t find proper amenities. any solutions??

Unfortunately it’s only 1 dropdown in all categories. if you are looking for 3 level nested dependent dropdowns, it’s not supported.
For amenities, that’s what we have for now. we have a plan to have amenities by each categories in the future. we can’t really tell you when it will be.

Javo spot works fine with multi site network. our demo site is also multi site.
Can I just switch over to Javospot, or do I need to restructure the settings for Javo spot from scratch, especially wmpl, thanks
There are 1 click sample data to setup like demo sites. then you need to change text, links, logo, images for your site. as you may know it’s basic setup for your site.
And use our bulk import plugin to transfer listings. if there are some missing listings, you need to setup.
You have to work on wpml or translation again. because it’s different between themes.
there might be some settings you need to work on javo spot.

Q1> Is there a way users can find a nearest store for current position? I clicked the “My location”button in a Directory demo site,but it says “Your position access failed.” I surely checked the GPS setting for Chrome.

1. Yes it currently doesn’t work if you are using chrome 50. google api doesn’t support non-SSL server (our demo is currently non-SSL server. it will be soon) but it works fine with SSL servers.

6. I am not sure what you mean. you want to use “category” as “sub locations”? you don’t need categories? if you are looking for dependent drop down for your locations, it is not supported.
7. 1,600 is not even a lot. no problem with speed. we tested php7. some of them worked fine and a few had some errors. (scroll issue)

Any plan to add a sort feature in Search results page? (Asc, Desc, By Rating etc)
Especially rating is mandatory for this kind of theme. Every potential customer use to sort listings by the reputation they have.
Javospot would be perfect if implemented.
