How can I make a menu item be a toggle?
So that when you click the menu item, it would toggle something to slide down under the menu. Thank you.

Hmm, I actually don’t think I’ve seen this done before. It sounds like it would function like a regular drop down menu, but only open on click. At the moment, Avada doesn’t have any options to allow for this sort of menu item, you would need to customize the theme files to get it working the way you have described.
Alternatively, you may wish to look for a third party plugin that provides additional options for your site’s menu. I haven’t used one personally, but there may be a plugin that provides the functionality you’re looking for. I would recommend heading on over to the WordPress community forum and seeing if anyone has any suggestions.

When I have an update from 4.0.1 to 4.0.2 ,the font comes to different when test in different browsers, please get back to me urgently to get this solved,already one week past but no progress from your service deparment !

I believe you could just manually add these two items to your menu via the WordPress menu editor. As the login URL is simply the default WordPress login URL, you can insert it as a regular link on the menu item like so:

Thank you Ryan. One more question which I was trying to figure out. I am wondering… is there a way that on the catalog page, in grid view, can I set it up somehow that regardless what size my image is, it will generate it to fit the exact frame of the product, so that i can have each product in equal size without me having to edit the images before uploading them. Same question about the single product view. Thx in advance!

You can adjust the size of the WooCommerce images via your WooCommerce -> Settings -> Products -> Display as described in this article:

You can set the width and height values via that page and enable cropping to ensure that the images are created at the same size. After making these changes, you will need to run the Regenerate Thumbnails plugin:

Is there a way to over ride all checklists to make them bigger? I have checklists on every single page of my site and want to increase the font size from 13 to 16 without having to do it on every page. Thanks!

If you wish to adjust the font size of the checklist’s site wide, I would recommend using the following in your Theme Options -> Custom CSS:
.fusion-checklist .fusion-li-item-content { font-size: 16px !important; }
Which will override the value set via the shortcode itself.

You have a “odd” error in the 4.0.x version when using “fixed” footer and boxed mode.. The “white” content box stops after some time even thoe there is still content and then break the color design..
Works in wide, works with uploaded background but that is not optimal if you have browsers with other resolutions active.. then design moves (white block behind content).
This worked with no problems in the 3.9.x version..

The theme’s auto updater doesn’t seem to give me the option to update. I am currently using Avada 3.8.5. I had registered the installation and it said I should receive automatic updates, but it doesn’t seem to be working.
How do I update Avada?

WP also only checks for updates once every 24 hours so once you regenerate it can take a day. You can also download it from Downloads tab and install it via FTP.

Hello, all of a sudden after upgrading the theme google maps (at contact) only show one location instead of two as it was before. We havent change anything… What I can see is that it looks like there is something wrong with the file associated with this function. I ve tried many things to work but didnt manage it. I tried to open a ticket to your support but i get: To reactivate your support license, please follow the instructions below.
I am not willing to pay an extra fee for support for a problem caused after upgrading. So can you please send me a solution here or by an email?

The support system put in place was done by Envato, not us (ThemeFusion). If you bought Avada before September 1st 2015 then we (ThemeFusion) have grandfathered you in, see this post: https://theme-fusion.com/avada-doc/getting-started/grandfathered-support/
However the reason why Envato did this is even though an issue may of come from an update, that is the nature of software and authors take a lot of time making these new updates with fixes and features.
So when you update you get new features and options and bug fixes, but with many things involved like servers, 3rd party plugins, customizations and simple human error that may of created a bug on our end, there is reason behind the support subscription.
For google Maps, there was a change made by Google maps but our team has issued a fix for it. First make sure you are using Avada 4.0.2 and Fusion Core 2.0.2. Update to those versions if needed.
Then in your WP admin area, go to Avada > Support tab and look at the bottom for the Avada Patcher tool box. You will see patches (fixes) that can be applied with a single button. You will notice that some patches have to be applied in order so make sure to apply them as they show from top to bottom.

As much as we would love to allow this, I am afraid that we are not able to. The decision to Grandfather existing customers was a decision we (ThemeFusion) had made and implemented to coincide with Envato’s introduction of paid support. The introduction of paid support took effect on September 1st, 2015, and hence our cut off date of August 31st, 2015 @ 23:59pm for our decision and all prior purchases to be effective and qualified.
Allowing purchases made after September 1st, 2015, to be grandfathered in would technically encroach on Envato’s terms and conditions thereby creating a conflict with Envato’s rules.

Hi, I purchased this theme and i’m pleased with it. I need to create several micro-sites based on the same theme in different folder. See that like different e-stores under the same branding. What I need is the possibility to copy content from one site to another. Using the Fusion builder, can we export page content (template) and import that in another Avada Installation?

Currently there is not a way to export all pages, you can save page templates or load them, but not from one site to the next. The best thing you can do is change to TEXT editor, copy the page content, then paste it into the new page on the other site in the TEXT editor, then flip it to Fusion Builder by clicking the button.
The good news is we have a new major version coming out v4.1 that has a much improved Fusion Builder that will allow you to import/export all sorts of things, along with many other bells and whistles

Hi, I used classic shop Home2 template, and want to change the pictures ( not product pictures) of landing page in my own photo. I did the same size photo as your template. but I don’t know why my pictures displayed in home landing page are not unclear after replacing your pictures. but my pictures size is the same as your pics. please help me the problem urgently!!!

That must be due to the reason that you are not selecting the proper size of image from dropdown selector, uploading a larger image and using a larger image are both different things since WordPress creates multiple thumbnails for each file you upload.

Hi. Please, update the Custom CSS box with search function integrated… It’s impossible to track selectors this way. I really preffer old native textarea box.

Right, but ONLY if you are seeing the selector on the box. If the selector is not on screen and you have to scroll, the search function of the browser doesn’t find it. Also, you have to go out of the CSS Custom box to run the browser searching. Thanks.

I believe you have FontAwesome disabled too just like the Fusion Builder, please go to Theme Options > Advanced > Theme Features and make sure the FontAwesome is enabled from there.

Most likely you have the sticky animation turned off, please go to theme options > header > sticky header and look for this: http://d.pr/i/10emR
It is only used for headers 1-3 now, header 4—5 can no longer use that animation option due to technical limitations.

We are having problems with the maps. In the console it says: “NetworkError: 404 Not Found – http://google-maps-utility-library-v3.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/infobox/src/infobox_packed.js?ver=3.8.8"
Further the map is not showing any more. I don’t know why this occurred or happened, but we are not able to fix it by ourselves. Can you take a look at it, please?

This is caused by Google changing the location of one of their scripts. We have released a patch for this issue that you can apply via the Avada -> Support tab of your WordPress admin panel. Patch #403965 will resolve the Google maps issue, but I would recommend applying them all.

Hi Ryan, unfortunately we cannot use the Patcher. We have Avada 3.8.x installed and have not the possibility to update the theme without breaking it, since we modified it manually. Could you please advise how to apply this patch without updating?

I would strongly recommend keeping your theme updated. There have been quite a few new features and improvements made to Avada since 3.8.X and by not updating you may be putting your site at risk. On a related note, WordPress 4.5 introduced an conflict with one of our JS files. We have resolved this issue in the latest versions of Avada, but you will need to update to get the fix.

Envato implemented this new suppport policy on Sept 1st 2015, and we as authors have to follow their rules for it. However before September 1st there was no policy in place which is why we as a company decided to grandfather users in on our own.

Hi we have used embedded youtube videos in the fusion slider http://www.onshow3d.com – On a tablet they show a play button and you can’t press the button. How do we resolve this issue? This is for the slider at the top of the page and also closer to the bottom. Would vimeo work is is there a setting we need to change? We have also embedded the 3d real estate object using an Iframe on the site. This works fine on the desktop. On an ipad or mobile it opens the object in a new window. How do we resolve this?

Hmm, as your slider is quite small there is only a small amount of room to place the text. If the text is placed over the play button, it will not be clickable. If this video is important, I would recommend removing the text overlay to allow the users to access the video controls.
Alternatively, you could set the video to autoplay so that the play button is not required.

I just rearranged my navigation (all I did was move around some of the sub-menu items) and now my dropdowns are horizontal rather than dropping down vertically under the parent page like normal. Any idea why this would happen? I can’t seem to find a way to switch it back.

This happens when you activate the mega menu. You can disable this via your Appearance -> Menu, then selecting the top level menu item that has the drop down and uncheck the ‘Enable Fusion Mega Menu’ option:

First of all thank you for creating such a amazing theme. We have now purchased more than 30 licenses and love it. When utilizing a new install of 4.0.2 we are now no longer able to add multile addresses in any format either separated by a (,) or a (|) like we used to on all previous installs. When we do utilize more than one email address it gives an error and upon saving and refreshing the page it wipes out the second email address. This has created some real headaches as we utilize multiple email addresses for nearly all sites. I hope there is an easy fix for this and appreciate your help on this matter.
