Hello Nectar team, I am have big trouble with the loading speed of my website with this theme, I had to increase several times the php.ini in order to not get the server error message because it can be loading more than 8sec sometimes. I already asked my hosting provided and check with them that everything is all right. Our images of products are tiny and our catalog in woocommerce is not so big to have this kind of trouble. Is there a way to improve speed? something that I can deactivate? My website is manzanarota.soytutipo.com

Use this plugin to minify the theme asstes https://wordpress.org/plugins/bwp-minify/ and try using a caching plugin such as https://wordpress.org/plugins/w3-total-cache/ to enable browser caching – those two things should help with the speed

Hello, I’m having an issue with the typography.
I was using the Corporate demo typography and changed a few things to test which fonts we’d like to use. I’m not happy with the fonts I chose and would like to get back to the demo fonts.
Is there any easy way to do this that won’t overwrite all of my other options?
Also, now when I make changes to the typography we aren’t seeing any changes so it seems to be stuck. Thanks for your help.

My website is www.maidsinblue.com – I changed my home page temporarily to another page however, if you visit any of the links in footer under: WHERE WE SERVE, you will notice that it just shows the nectar slider, the call to action and the footer. for example, if you go to this link: http://www.maidsinblue.com/airdrie/ you will see it’s missing the whole body of the page. Hi there, I am having problem on some css issues. its quite strange that some of the css works if I put it on child theme, but some don’t. but when I put them inside theme > using the dashboard. it works? Any suggestion.
The css loaded in the custom css box gets placed further down in the document head so it would more easily overwrite values than the child theme – if you’re having issues gettings rules to work in the child theme make them more specific – adding body to the beginning of them is one easy way or using !important
to me.. it doesn’t make sense… what’s the point of having child theme.. when some of the code still needs to go inside the theme option…
It doesn’t – I’m simply explaining why that could be occurring with some of your rules. Without seeing the site URL and an example of one of your css rules that isn’t applying that’s the best suggestion I can provide though.
Question about the Search…

Second: If you go to the same link I just gave and add a product to the cart, you will see this weird Circle and “X” art/icon. It’s very odd.
You will see it in the Widgets on the side bar on the product pages.
?Hi, i just tried to make a megamenu with three columns. Tried just entering “megamenu” in the css class of the menu, then trying “megamenu columns-3” but it displays weird. I think it’s a bug or something with the last version.

I’ve just update the theme but get the following message:
Your theme (Salient) contains outdated copies of some WooCommerce template files. These files may need updating to ensure they are compatible with the current version of WooCommerce. You can see which files are affected from the system status page. If in doubt, check with the author of the theme.
Also my woo commerce products are not aligned properly (it shows 1 product on a row then the next row shows 2 products then the third row shows 1 product). Is this issue going to be fixed?
Hey, the current Salient (7.0.9) sorts the WooCommerce issues – if you’ve updated already have you tried clearing your cache? Could you kindly share your URL in regards so I can take a further look?

I can’t get it to stay at the top of the page and disappear when scrolling down the page, well it does disappear, but when I scroll all the way down to the bottom it appears again. My website is very slow, and since it is an eccomerce website the speed greatly impacts conversions.
I contacted my hosting provider and they assured me that it is nothing on their end. I tried many things to speed up the website (optimization, reducing image size, multiple plugins, etc) with no success.

Also, if you take a look the “ecommerce” demo, right under the big slider there are 4 image rows that have a zoom effect when you hover over them, and when clicking on them lead you to a different part of the website.
Ive tried to apply that same look to my website but could not quite figure it out. How exactly would i do this and is it possible to have 3 or even 2 rows instead of 4?

Super duper quick e-commerce questions:
1) all of my product pages are only populating on half the page both on store front, related products, and category pages… not sure how this is controlled. When I select full width content setting in the woocommerce setting section under salient options the products expand beyond the visible part of the page.
2) How do I set a parallax image type on the category page like you have on your demo?

1. This is an issue created in WooCommerce 2.6+ – the update for Salient that fixes this is also now available (7.0.9)
2. You can set them by editing the category in Posts > Categories in your admin panel. There’s a field for “Category Header Image”

How do I make the the size of the classic style blog posts all the same height? Based on the image they are all at variable height and I dont want to change to classic enhanced.
Also, is there a way to make the font size bigger where it says the category for the recent posts slider?

Unfortunately there’s no good way to have the classic masonry posts be all the same height – this is exactly what the classic enhanced was designed for though. Is there any reason you don’t want to use it?

I am embedding a video using ightbox. The original source of the video is HTTPS. But, when you play it on the front end of the site and through the functionally of lightbox it is stripping the S from HTTPS. My site is then blocking the video. Is there a way to force HTTPS playback of video?
