When I exit Customize panel after changing the main color in Appearance -> Customize -> Site Settings -> Style & Settings the main secondary color works but the main color doesnt.

Footer menu color depends on your main theme colors which you can change under Customize -> Site settings -> Styling. If you want to change its color individually, you can use a custom CSS. Please clarify which layout are you using and we will give you an example styles!

Lovely websites all of the layouts. I wanted to horizontally list services in colourful boxes and on mouse hover these services flips and a read more option becomes available. The following web design listed services in a nice way, this is where it says web design, cms, ecommerce, bespoke etc.
