That isn’t good, sorry to hear that! I’m afraid I can’t remember any plugin names, but I remember there being a free one on the WordPress plugin repository and I’m sure someone would create one for CodeCanyon, try searching for “social sharing” type plugins and see if you can find a good one. Although I had a look at the code in the site you shared, and it looks like a custom built social widget, so I’m not sure you’ll be able to find one identical to that one.

Ok thanks for the clarification. Nevertheless, i’m managing 30+ websites, i don’t want to go to each author website, create an account, validate my licencese, open a new ticket bla bla bla … When the system is already working perfectly well on themeforest.

And believe me, I do appreciate that, but I hope you can also appreciate that these comments aren’t actually for support and are very inefficient if used for support too. Here there no private options for logins/private way to sharing your url/no ability to sharing screenshots/no easy history record of previous tickets/you can’t search through the thousands of other solved tickets that may have your answer and save both you and us time.

And as we have literally thousands of customers and hundreds of new tickets every week, we have to prioritise the customers that open tickets there. All of this is why so many other authors simply copy/paste generic responses saying “all support is done here: x”.

Ok, but it’s pretty stupid … I mean, if i define a global color for my homepage’s layout, i don’t want my categories’s colors messing it up without being able to do nothing about it ! In short, this theme is good visually, but really weirdly thought out and hardly customizable. Much less wiggle room that the 20+ themes i’ve encountered so far.

2- I’m confused over exactly what your vision is though. Because if you did enable the review for your posts, what about all the review data, such as criterias + the relevant score to the post + pros/cons for each post?

3- Categories don’t mess up anything on the homepage, the global color is used everywhere, and it’s only if you add a module set to X category, and that category has its own color, does the module use that color. I’m not sure what a better/easier alternative to create a colorful homepage is. Can you give me an example of how you’ve done that in other themes to better understand?

4- Do you mean the page title bar? If so, share the url of the page you mean and I can share some custom css to help you set a background.

For the settings -> Media, there are no recommended settings, you can make your thumbnails whatever size you want, as those thumbnails are the ones WordPress uses for when you embed an image (thumbnail/medium/large/original). And the crop one, just leave it as the default setting, unless you know you need to change that for the thumbnails, you probably don’t need to

Yeah the theme was fully working with Sensei out of the box when that was added to the changelog. Could you share a url to take a look at the HTML please? And tell me what Sensei verison you are using, as I wonder if something has changed maybe that needs updating in the theme.

I looked into it and I tink the theme needs extra code for it than it already has for the latest versions, try adding this code to your functions.php:

That is really odd, but the pagination is 100% controlled by WordPress, not by the theme. I recommend checking your permalinks settings and try changing them and saving to refresh the permalinks cache. Then check your plugins (such as SEO Yoast) and see if one of them is influencing.

I’ll be 100% honest with you and say I’m not a fan of that width, because when you reach those types of widths, lines of text become so long it looks really ugly and uncomfortable to read. That is why the only thing full-screen in the theme are big featured image styles, the footer/header/menu and the full-screen image embeds. All the graphical stuff, but not the content. So I’m afraid I can’t imagine doing a 1400px version option for at least the short-term future.

Hm, I’m afraid that is a tricky one, but there might be one potential easy solution which hopefully helps, edit functions.php and change this part:

to

360, 360

And then do a regenerate thumbnails (use force regenerate thumbnails plugin) and hopefully it automatically works exactly as you hope for.

I am supposed to pay au$62 just to get an answer to why the theme no longer works when all I did was update it. And yes – I have the latest version of Wordpress and have tried disabling all plugins.

After updating the Valenti theme, the homepage grid images and recent posts slider are showing black boxes instead of images (only in Google Chrome). I have already added the custom CSS

.cb-grid-img a { display: block; }

I have cleared the cache.

Nothing works.

I’m sorry to hear you had issues after updating, but the theme definitely does work well, tons of users are on the latest version and latest WordPress with no problems, and so is the demo site.

However, you do need valid support to ask for help. But please understand that the whole support system is 100% Envato’s idea/doing/implementation, we authors have no say in how it works, we are just told we have to make sure we follow the rules. In fact, I personally wrote publicly against the system in the official forum thread about it.

But as this is Envato’s house, if someone’s support has expired, we have to remind buyers to extend support if asking for support. You can read more about it here:

If you extend your support, share your URL here and I can try to help you figure out what is going on, but I am almost 99.9% convinced that the issue won’t be due to a theme issue or bug.

As the theme is very easy to use, and you could either install the demo content onto your site (instructions are found in the documentation) or you could follow the documentation steps to build a homepage using the Valenti drag and drop homepage builder – it’s really easy to use and you can build the perfect homepage for your current content.

I had a look and that’s because the you are choosing the wrong megamenu type, it seems to be set to a megamenu with post but no posts are outputting, edit the menu item and set it to be the standard normal dropdown menu option and it should all work as you want

?Hi, I still have the problem with “Leyendas” and “Porfolio” on the menu. I’ve tried to edit the menu item and set it to be the standard normal dropdown menu option? as you told me, however when I go to Appearance/Menu if I click on a Category, it doesn’t appear the Valenti MegaMenu Type option. I had a look and you still haven’t got them set to the correct menu type, your leyendas menu item is a custom link menu item and it is invalid too because you haven’t set a link to it. If you want to use the post megamenu types like you did in some of your other menus, you need to add a “category menu item”. For leyendas, either re-add it again using the category option, or change the megamenu type to the standard dropdown option, which looks like the “shop” dropdown in the theme demo site.
